He sensed something—Itachi's chakra signature was dropping rapidly.
Naruto narrowed his eyes and instantly vanished from the battlefield.
When he arrived, he saw chaos. Konoha's shinobi were panicking. One of them was bleeding heavily, and Itachi stood there—one of his eyes missing.
It seemed that his sensei had been forced to use Izanagi.
Naruto's gaze moved toward the surrounding figures—all the remaining Akatsuki members were present: Pain, Kisame, and others. Pain, with his Rinnegan glowing, stared coldly at Naruto.
"I've had enough of this," Pain muttered. "He is powerful… but I am God. And God must rule."
With a grim expression, he prepared to strike. He believed that he was the strongest being alive—and now he would prove it.
Pain launched himself toward Naruto, unleashing Shinra Tensei, while the other Akatsuki members also attacked in unison.
Naruto turned slightly, looking at Itachi. Without words, he shared some of his ki, healing his former sensei's injuries—just like Goku did to Frieza on Namek.
Itachi slowly stood up, still wounded, but steadied by Naruto's support. Naruto gave him a brief nod.
Itachi understood and jumped back to safety.
Naruto then turned fully to face the incoming wave of attacks. The Rinnegan wielder and all the Akatsuki members charged together.
But before Pain's gravitational force could touch him, Naruto was already there—right in front of him.
Pain's eyes widened.
Too fast...
Before he could react, Naruto's glowing ki-charged fist smashed into his chest, a devastating shockwave tearing through him.
And just like that—boom—Pain's body exploded into nothingness.
Far away, Nagato gasped, his eyes wide with horror.
His most powerful path… was destroyed in an instant.
He felt a deep, sharp pain tear through his spirit. He couldn't understand what kind of power this was—it felt like something completely alien, beyond chakra, beyond even the Rinnegan. It burned him from within.
Elsewhere, Kisame gritted his teeth, watching Naruto. His sword, Samehada, began to scream unnaturally—its scales blistered and blackened, its energy corrupted and consumed.
Before Kisame could react, his head was severed cleanly from his body. The rest of his form followed, split in half and obliterated in a massive explosion.
Naruto vanished again.
The remaining Akatsuki members suddenly understood.
They were doomed.
Within a minute, all the Akatsuki members were simply dead. Obito tried to use his technique, but Naruto had already seen through it.
Obito was traveling through interdimensional space—but Naruto was more than ready. His immense power and speed allowed him to move across dimensions. Whenever Obito opened his portal, there was a brief moment—a tiny spatial window—that remained linked to the dimension Obito was in.
Naruto, using his advanced perception and god-like reflexes, forced his hand to move at such a speed that he extended that small window and tore through it, entering the other dimension by force.
So, it didn't matter if Obito was hiding in another realm—one punch was all it took.
Obito was launched into a mountain with such force that every single bone in his body was shattered. Even the regenerative abilities granted by Hashirama's cells couldn't save him. That one punch was enough to kill him outright.
But Obito, desperate, activated Izanagi, sacrificing one of his eyes to rewrite reality and return from death.
However, when he reappeared, he was stunned.
Naruto was already standing there—hand extended toward his face, calm and cold, as if expecting him all along.
Naruto had already sensed the negative chakra in Obito's eye and predicted the use of Izanagi. With the help of his ki, he could read the distortion and react instantly.
The moment Obito reappeared, Naruto's hand flashed forward, and just like that—it was over.
Obito Uchiha was dead.
Naruto didn't even flinch. He didn't care who the man truly was. It didn't matter. The Akatsuki was gone.
Nagato, overwhelmed by the physical and emotional stress of battle, finally succumbed. His body gave out.
With that, Naruto appeared near Konan, who was standing there in disbelief. She looked at him with fury and despair.
This man—he had destroyed everything. Everything they had worked for. Yahiko. Nagato. All of them.
"You destroyed it all…" she muttered.
With grief and rage, she launched herself at Naruto, knowing full well she couldn't kill him, but determined to try anyway.
Naruto didn't have the patience.
The moment Naruto's hand touched Obito, the blow killed him instantly—without even wondering who the man truly was. And just like that, the Akatsuki was no more.
Nagato, due to the overwhelming stress and strain, finally passed away. His body had reached its limit.
Naruto then appeared where Konan stood, trembling as she glared at him. This man had destroyed everything—everything she, Yahiko, and Nagato had worked for. They only wanted peace. And now, Nagato was dead—because of him.
She let out a scream and launched herself at Naruto. She knew she couldn't kill him, but that didn't matter. She would still try.
But Naruto had no patience for it.
Before he could even speak, black flames erupted and engulfed Konan, causing her to scream in sheer agony and pain. Naruto turned back to see Itachi, who was standing calmly.
Naruto gave a faint smirk.
"I should have known you wouldn't stay behind."
Itachi smirked in return, still clutching his eye.
Naruto and Itachi then walked toward Nagato's corpse.
Itachi said, "Those are the Rinnegan. I think we should keep them. They're among the most powerful dōjutsu—perhaps even stronger than any others."
Naruto raised an eyebrow. He didn't care much for the Rinnegan, but he understood their value. So he nodded silently.
Itachi quickly extracted the Rinnegan and used a protective sealing technique, ensuring that no one else could access them unless he allowed it.
With that done, they finally returned to the battlefield.
There, they saw that the Fourth Hokage—Minato Namikaze—had sealed away the First, Second Hoe , with the help of Third Hokage.
But the Third Hokage was now dying. He had pushed his old body too far, used too much chakra, and could no longer sustain himself.
Naruto finally arrived at the scene to see his father kneeling beside Hiruzen Sarutobi, who was taking his last breath.
Naruto understood—it was too late. Nothing could be done now. So, they gave the old Hokage their final respects.
The Third Hokage passed away.
Minato looked up at Naruto, grief in his eyes.
"Naruto... what about the other shinobi?"
Naruto looked back and replied, "Many of them are dead. Some have fled from the village. I've ordered my ki signature to avoid attacking them."
