### Flashback
Alison, a young witch with piercing green eyes, stood before Clyde, a handsome vampire with chiseled features. "I don't know if I can do this, Clyde. My family, the witch community... they'll never approve."
Clyde took her hand, his touch warm despite his vampiric nature. "We'll face it together, Alison. We'll make our own way."
### Present Day
Derek's eyes narrowed as he turned to face Clara. "What are you doing here?"
Clara stood her ground, despite the intimidation. "I'm looking for answers. And I think you might know something."
Derek's smile was cold, calculating. "I don't think so. You're not from around here, are you?"
Josie stepped forward, her voice steady. "I'm Josie, a werewolf. And you are...?"
Derek's gaze didn't waver from Clara's. "I'm someone you don't want to mess with."
Clara's eyes flashed with defiance. "I'm not afraid of you."
Derek took a step closer, his voice low and menacing. "You should be. You're trespassing on private property. What do you want?"
Clara held her ground, her heart racing. "I'm looking for answers about my family's past. And I think this house might hold some secrets."
Derek's expression didn't change, but his eyes seemed to gleam with interest. "What makes you think that?"
As he spoke, his gaze drifted to Clara's face, and his eyes widened in surprise. He took a step back, his eyes scanning her features as if searching for something.
"Wait a minute...you look familiar," Derek said, his voice laced with suspicion. "I found a picture of you in this house. How do you know this place?"
Clara's eyes narrowed. "What picture? I don't know what you're talking about."
Derek's gaze didn't waver. "Don't play dumb. I know what I saw. You're connected to this house somehow. Tell me the truth."
Clara's heart skipped a beat as she realized Derek might hold more answers than she thought. But she wasn't sure if she could trust him.
