The sound of lockers closing was heard around the hallway, students rushing to go home or catch up with the bus.
"I heard your going on another date with Jason", said Mari with a smirk.
Alex groaned and rolled her eyes at her friend "please tell me how you know this"
"I have my ways", Mari said in singsong. Alex just glared at her with raised eyebrow.
"Urgh fine, Jason is super happy with it so everyone knows", Mari said making Alex to gape at her "but what I want to know is what's going on between you two" Mari added wiggling her brows.
"Nothing is going on, I just feel like going out with him as friends", Alex said stressing the last word.
"Yeah whatever you say", Mari said and winked. Alex rolled her eyes again at her friend and walked out of the school building to the parking lot with Mari towing behind.
Reaching her car she saw her sister leaning on the bonnet and spotting a huge grin on her face.
"Urgh I hate that smile", Alex muttered
"Oh my gosh Al am so happy for you", Arielle squealed throwing her hands on her sister.
"Too tight", Alex wheezed out.
"Oh sorry", Arielle said releasing her "am so happy your finally going on a date"
"I went last time", Alex stared at her sister weirdly.
"That's different", Ari dismissed with a wave of her hand "this time around am going to do a serious makeover and make you presentable"
Alex gasped then glared at her sister "that's rude and insulting, we literally look alike"
"Hmmm...true, but what I mean is am going to force you into a gown"
"just kill me now", Alex groaned but was then interrupted by the horn of her car. Her and Ari both turned and saw Mari leaning over to the driver's sit.
"Oh come on, am hungry here", Mari yelled then pressed the horn again.

Paris Mansion
Alex laid sprawled on her king sized bed playing video game on her smart TV when her room door was suddenly slammed open and Arielle entered the room like she owns it with Mari.
"There is something called knocking and also privacy please", Alex said rolling her eyes. Looks like that's the only thing she has been doing all day just because of two girls.
Not making any effort to get up from bed she continued with her game as if they were not in the room.
"Oh hush it you, you have a date in the next 2 hours...
"Precisely it's two hours 48 minutes and 34 seconds", Alex said cutting Ari off.
Ari glared at the girl she has to call her sister.
"Whatever it's time for your makeover....come on get your lazy behind out of bed will you", said Ari then going over to drop a makeup box Alex hadn't noticed she was holding before on her vanity table.
"Al don't be lazy", said Mari walking towards Alex bed side and stretched out her hands to drag her out by her leg.
"I can't believe your conspiring with her", Alex said
"Well it's your first date with Jason", Mari said.
"Second date with Jason", Alex said
"Whatever, same thing", Mari said with a shrug.
*~1 hour 32 minutes later*~
"I look like a princess", Alex cringed looking at herself in the mirror she wore a blue short dress, her hair was down and she had on light makeup. 'At least I get to keep my sneakers on', she thought
"Isn't that wonderful", asked Arielle clapping her hands excitedly.
"No it means it's awful, your ruining my reputation with this", cried Alex.
"Oh please is just a date....
"Which I don't plan on leading him on", said Alex cutting Mari off. She then gestured to her face and said "this right here is going to lead him on. what am saying is I do not want to look like I've been anticipating this date ever since", said Alex turning to look at them.
"Then why did you agree to go on a date with him", asked Arielle suggestively.
"Please don't have the thought that I like him ...the thing is that....you guys won't understand the reason", said Alex looking back at herself on the mirror.
"Yeah yeah we all no how it ends, both of you kiss, get married then have kids"
"Arielle", Mari said stifling her laughter which was a failure.
"What!, is true, it always happens every time someone plays hard to get", Alex just shooked her head at her sister words with a smile.
"But what I do not still get is why can't you just give him a chance, his a really good looking guy with little bad traits", said Mari chuckling.
"If he attracts you why not go for him", said Alex with a chuckle.
"No thanks am already in love with Noah", Mari said with a smile. The door bell was faintly heard and all three turned to the door.
"I guess is my queue", Alex said standing up.
Arielle placed her two hands on her sisters shoulders and said close to her face too close to her face "your telling us every single thing that happens in detail"
Pushing her sister away and scrunching up her nose "first all I need my space, secondly ewwww and no you creep", Alex replied.
Arielle plucked out her lips and whined "oh come on, is a normal gist between girls especially sisters"
"I said no..am late for my date", Alex said grabbing her coat from her closet and going then towards her room door.
"I told you she liked Jason", whispered Mari to Arielle causing the later to giggle. Alex hearing them turned and gave them a death glare.
"What, I said nothing", Mari said with a huge grin.

"Hey"
"Hey you look ....perfect", said Jason gulping. He was practically drooling over her. The child still couldn't believe he was going on a date with the Alex Paris and for the second time also.
"Thank you", said Alex then cocked her head to assess him. Upon seeing his state of gawking she smirked "you might want to close your mouth unless you want an actual drool to come out", she said then entered the passenger sit.
Jason blushed at that, he hated his hormones for making his face heat up. He couldn't just understand why he always felt so shy and nervous in her presence. Sometimes people ask if their the same person since he always goes mushy mushy in her presence, even he has questioned himself about it before. He's meant to feel proud or cocky that he is going to have a beautiful girl by his side tonight like always but yet what's going on in his mind is him not wanting to mess the night up by embarrassing himself.
"Uh....are you coming", Alex asked from the window with a light chuckle
'urgh how did he become like this", Jason said in his mind, calming his nerves he entered his car and drove off.

They both sat opposite each other in one of the famous luxurious restaurant in crescent fall. The table was quiet too quiet, what was heard was the sound of cutlery against china plate.
Alex looked up at Jason and noticed how nervous his been all night long, she has been observing him for quite some time.
"Is something wrong or bothering you", she asked in a soft whisper.
Even she was surprised by the gentleness in her tone.
"Huh..oh nothing is wrong", Alex knew it was a lie, his hands were basically shaking and more evident whenever he took in a spoon, like he was scared but why and what for.
"Why don't we talk about ourselves", Alex suggested to ease the tension.
"Technically I know everything about you", Jason blurted out then covered his mouth with hands after realizing what he said.
Alex smiled at that and thought 'stalker much' "fine then I do not know who you are, do you mind introducing me to who Jason Raymond is"
"That's my great grand father's name.....how do you know that"
Alex rolled her eyes at his question "the books I've borrowed from you has Ray on it, the teachers call you Ray, and I thought that was your middle name. I've no idea what your surname is"
"That's true, that's my middle name", said Jason then looked at Alex "you don't know my surname at all", he asked but Alex casually shrugged.
"Guess my surname then", he smirked.
"I can't do that", Alex said with raised eyebrow.
"Fine then. Do you want to go for a stroll after your done eating", he said changing the topic.
"Jason if I made you mad am sor...
Jason rose up his hands to stop her "don't worry am not mad, are you done with your food", he asked.
"I guess", Alex voice was laced with uncertainty she didn't understand how he switched up personality so fast. 'I've never seen this side of him before', 'I badly need to work on how I talk to people, I didn't mean to make him angry', Alex thought.
But what bothered her thoughts most importantly was why she was being nice to him she isn't nice like that and this weird feeling too.
Jason paid the bill, stood up and walked out, Alex was shocked at first but then followed suite and met him waiting for her at the front of the door. She took her coat from the doorman and left.
They've been walking on the gravel stone for the past one hour with no one saying anything just silence, uncomfortable silence at that and Alex hated it she badly wanted to know what's going on in that thick head of his.
"Jason", she called out.
"Who was your first love", he randomly asked.
"What are you talking about", Alex asked.
"The question is very simple Alex who was your first love", Jason said her name with venom making her wince internally.
"Why be so rude", Alex said stopping her tracks. Singing she said "Am sorry for how I behaved and talked to you in the restaurant, but please do tell why you are angry", Alex asked.
She was watching his movement warily, the way he kept on pacing back and forth and raking his head he looked like he was having an internal battle.
Alex observed that they were currently at the park and no single person was around.
"Jason"
"Am so sorry Alex, am really sorry, I love you but I have no other choice", Jason said in rushed voice still pacing.
Alex was very confused at his words "you don't need to be sorry about anything Ja....", but she was cut off by his lips smashing on her's. Alex was shocked at first but then started to respond to him. The kiss was passionate and sweet and she liked it that way. They broke apart eventually to breath in air, both panting heavily.
"Ja.....", Alex didn't get to complete her sentence as always when she felt something sharp stab at her stomach. She looked down and saw a dagger with green engravings on its handle, halfway into her stomach with blood gushing out and soaking her dress, she looked up at Jason with shock who was backing away.
"Am sorry, I really didn't mean to", he said in a rush. He looked at her and noticed something was so purpose to happen but it wasn't happening. Alex was already down on both her knees coughing out blood, removing the blade she held her side to stop the bleeding.
She tired to catch her breadth and stay awake but her energy was draining.
"Why", she whispered looking up at him.
"Shit..shit I swear I didn't mean...fuck I thought you were a royal but....but...your....human", he said all that but didn't move to help her.
"I swear I didn't mean to do it", he cried staring at her and then to his eyes. He was beyond scared and shocked the same.
There was a flash of light coming from a black SUV driving towards their direction.
Jason eyes went wide open with panic, he looked at Alex then to the car then back to Alex, feeling conflicted. "Am so sorry", he said backing away "I didn't mean to hurt you" he said then ran away.
Alex just watched him run, she didn't even care about the car driving towards her cause she was in shock and still trying to process what had happened.
That was the first time in years a tear dropped from her eyes.
