Before I was transferred, someone helped me. But without saying a single word, they took me to an unfamiliar place.
I was confused by the ground I now stood on, and just thinking about it gave me a headache.
Rather than being watched by that person...
But somehow, I had the feeling someone was observing me.
"Hey, kid."
I hadn't had time to take in my surroundings, and suddenly someone startled me. This place felt like a void—or maybe it really was.
"Um, excuse me, but who are you?"
"Who, me?"
"Oh, right—sorry, I forgot to introduce myself."
He removed his cloak, stood tall, and spoke like someone around my age—though with a bit of a silly vibe.
"My name is Noah, the God."
I shook my head in disbelief, confused and shocked to learn this person was a god.
I couldn't believe it. How could someone like this be a god? But despite that, he seemed kind and fairly friendly. He wore an eye cover that looked like cloth with a touch of gold.
Not long after, Noah placed his hand on my shoulder and said:
"Hey, little buddy, do you want to be reincarnated?"
"Huh? Wait, what?!"
Things suddenly became confusing when Noah asked me if I wanted to be reincarnated. That question left me stunned—and so were his companions, who had apparently been watching us the whole time.
Then, out of nowhere, someone ran into me, knocking me back a bit. When I looked to see who it was, I saw a girl wearing something like headphones.
She immediately scolded Noah for trying to reincarnate someone so casually.
"Hey, Lord Noah, you're doing this recklessly!"
"I know you're powerful, but why him?"
She shouted while pointing at me.
Noah tried to explain.
"Wait a second, Ren."
So, her name was Ren. She interrupted him, grabbed my shirt, and looked me in the eyes as she warned me.
"Hey... do you know who you are?"
"Uh, yeah... I do."
"Good. Then why—"
Before she could finish, Noah quickly pulled me away, clearly knowing what might happen if Ren kept talking. He tried to explain while laughing nervously.
I stayed quiet, trying to assess the situation, but then I locked eyes with Ren—who looked furious.
"Hey, Ren, calm down. I've thought this through, so don't worry."
"You're always like this!"
As Ren tried to respond, Noah suddenly pulled her and pushed her toward me.
Ren was startled and blushed, as did I.
"Ugh, so inconsiderate..."
"Get up already, I can't breathe!"
Immediately, Ren stood up, flustered and red-faced.
Then Noah said to me:
"Hey, how about Ren goes with you?"
I was shocked, and Ren, still blushing, yelled:
"WHAAAT?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"
Ignoring her, Noah started preparing the reincarnation ritual, shocking both of us.
Suddenly, my body changed into a form based on a character I had created in a game—named Haruka Nexus.
"My body... it changed!"
In an instant, I found myself in a vast, green, unfamiliar world. I hadn't even processed it all yet when I suddenly felt sleepy and wanted to rest.
Ren, frustrated, yelled at me:
"HEY! DON'T JUST RELAX LIKE THAT!"
"WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE WE ARE!"
Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed nearby.
BOOM
Startled, we rushed toward the sound. As we arrived, Ren was surprised to see how agile and quick I had become. She couldn't help but wonder who I really was—and quickly followed.
We spotted a group of bandit-like figures. There were three vehicles—two wrecked and one partially intact. Nearby, several people were held captive: five men, three women, and four children.
There were 17 bandits: 2 brutes, 7 armed, 2 mages, 5 fighters, and 1 leader.
Ren and I assessed the area and began forming a plan. But Ren simply replied coldly:
"I can handle this myself."
Unexpectedly, she jumped from a cliff and struck one of the bandits.
"Heh, that's it?"
She didn't notice a bandit trying to ambush her from behind. Without thinking, I jumped too, landing directly on the attacker—crushing him instantly. The bandits panicked.
To protect the hostages, we fought until none of the bandits were left—except the leader, whom we knocked unconscious to interrogate later. I tied him up tightly to prevent his escape.
We freed the captives, who thanked us profusely and offered us gifts.
"Thank you for saving us."
"Without you, we'd be doomed."
"We have a small gift for you—please accept it."
An elderly man spoke gratefully. But I declined. For me, helping others should come from the heart.
Everyone felt comforted and grateful to meet someone like me.
Even Ren began to view me differently—at least for a moment.
RRRRRAAAWWWW
Suddenly, a monster's roar echoed in the distance. We saw a girl fighting desperately against the beast.
She looked exhausted, and I rushed in to help her.
