Synopsis
Shuuya Arata is a reclusive 15-year-old who, after a freak accident during middle school, awakens two strange “passive” abilities—[Comprehensive Skill] and [Instant Learn]—allowing him to fully grasp and master any technique or strategy in physical sports at an accelerated rate. With no visible side effects and no one aware of his gift, Shuuya vows to live quietly and avoid competition.
He deliberately enrolls at Kuragasaki High, a no-name public school known for academic stress, weak extracurriculars, and—crucially—no official soccer club. He thinks he’s safe.
But fate kicks off again when a defunct soccer goal is hit by a casual pass he makes in a PE class, triggering a chain reaction:
A disgraced former pro footballer, now a school janitor, witnesses Shuuya’s kick.
The eccentric PE teacher, who used to coach in the national youth system, sees the spark and pushes him.
A misfit crew of students—delinquents, rejects from other sports, a lone girl obsessed with tactics—join in.
Shuuya is dragged into reviving a forgotten soccer club that technically doesn’t exist, forming a "ghost team" that must compete in underground and practice games before earning official status. Meanwhile, he tries to stay unnoticed by testing other sports in secret—basketball, volleyball, track—hoping to avoid attention while working out the deeper nature of his skill.
But every time he tries to hide, the game calls him back.
