So far, things weren't too bad.

Lloyd looked at his master who was arrogant, and felt pride well up in his heart. This was the master he served.
The royal family had six Royal princes born from the Queen and all four concubines.
The Queen, her majesty Lucinda Hartfield… gave birth to Crown Prince Augustus and fourth Prince William.
First concubine Pyla Wolfbain… gave birth to second prince Bain and first princess Preeta.
The Second Concubine Ava Garteera… gave birth to the Sixth Prince Julius and the twins. The twins were girls: Third princess Lily and Fourth princess Mina.
They were twins yet they looked nothing alike in the eyes of others. They had different textured hair, different face features, and very different personalities.
Concubine Ava who was Second Concubine, didn't give birth as earlier as the other women. For a time, many speculated she was barren, until Julius's birth cane to prove them wrong.
Third concubine mother Shu Trigun, birthed the second princess, Princess Lupita, as well as Fifth Prince Raymond.
Finally, there was Fourth concubine Rita Ortiz, the mother of Lloyd's master, Third Prince Carter.

Lloyd felt that apart from his master who was a true genius, the majority of Princes were idiots. His master had the true makings of an emperor, with immense wisdom above many aristocrats.
Lloyd felt that had it not been for his master's late arrival from the womb, his master would definitely have been crown prince. Only he deserves to reign supreme.
"Master, what about the other matter?"
Lloyd's question instantly plunged the room into an abyss. Everything was going according to plan Seven months ago. They planned and schemed, ensuring Augustus's death in battle against the Arkmideans.
Everything should've ended with Augustus dead. But who knew a mysterious helper would turn the tide with just a few strategies on paper? Who was that mysterious helper? And why did he have to be so nosy as to poke his nose into their business?
By now, the seat for crown prince would have been vacant and his master would have claimed it.
Steward Fabian, one of Carter's trusted allies, was also the lead steward in charge of running Carter's home and accounting.
He managed Carter's wealth, and has been with Carter since he was born. His loyalty was unquestionable. He too felt aggrieved for the master knowing that the blasted mysterious man had ruined their plans.
In the room, he too couldn't hide his fury when the mysterious man was mentioned.
Tapping his fingers on his armrest, Carter's eyelashes glutted lazily. "Relax, we will get there soon enough. For now, we hide our roughness… Now is not the time to move."
Carter paused, revealing a wicked smile. "Remember, I am still heartbroken and devastated from the betrayal of my brother and fiancé seen together."
Lloyd, Fabian, and a few others looked at each other with tactful smiles before going down on one knee.
"The master is wise…"

While Carter's side was talking about the matter, they also discussed the matter.
Some were thrilled just as Carter, while others were worried, feeling his majesty might have been too brash with his decision.

The queen who has always ensured unity occurred among the royals, was very much worried for Julius's sake.
Don't think just because they were all wives of Altec, that they would fight and tear each other apart. Even in the mist unlikeliest of places, one can still make allies and friends.
From young till now, everyone knows noble men will for sure have a harem, talk less of a monarch. Her job as queen was to ensure peace within the emperor's harem. She settled disputes and kept things in order. So Altec wouldn't have to worry about matters involving women.
A good Queen manages them all, while a bad queen is greedy and selfish, wanting to destroy every woman that comes into the harem. At least that's what she was taught. And over the years, many have praised her for the good work she did managing it all.

Third Concubine Shu and fourth Concubine Rita always liked acting like demons, scheming and plotting at any chance they got.

Queen Lucinda began wondering if they would die if they didn't scheme. It was as though they were addicted to plotting and quite frankly, it was very exhausting. That's why she felt a breath of fresh air whenever she was with Preeta and Ava.
All three ladies met, talking about the matter. Lucinda and Preeta were very concerned about Julius. They too have watched him grow, and doubted the crime he was accused of. Indeed, he was naughty, but not to that extent.
Lucinda rubbed Ava's back, "There, there, Concubine Sister. Don't worry. after his majesty calms down. I will definitely put in a good word to bring him back."
Preeta nodded, "That is, how can a dragon's blood live outside its den? It's not a good thing at all."
Ava sniffled and patted her beautifully embroidered handkerchief on corners of her eyes. "Thank you, sisters… I–"
Before she could speak further, a maid rushed into the room. It seemed they had a visitor they must see.
It was Steward Hayden, a man who works directly for the Emperor. He was a late middle-aged man with a long grayish black beard and a very sturdy but chubby body.
