In the distance, small moving figures start covering the mountains, like ants swarming for food. A yell is heard from behind. "The beast wave is here!" One of the few remaining guards willing to stay behind with the chief. Chaos erupts in the village, screams and crashes could be heard, but the chief didn't look back. Instead, he addressed his guards, "Today we all stand united, witnessing what is our last day. I thank you for standing with me, facing our doom in the village that raised us." He took a deep breath and continued, "I understand how difficult the choice to stay here was, knowing that there is no hope for our village should have made you flee, but you chose to die on the frontlines with me. So even though we won't be able to contribute to the battle today, we will bear witness to it and die an honourable death."

As he finished speaking, a waterfall of fire came from the clouds, striking the front of the fast-approaching beast wave. The fire spread out in waves, incinerating beasts as it flows outwards. A mountain in the distance crumbles as a giant snake comes out of it, jumping into the air, and going above the clouds. The flames stops pouring down from the clouds, and not long after, the snakes falls back down, with a dead immortal pierced by their teeth, gold blood leaking from their mouth. The snake dives into the earth, disappearing.

A large crane with flames dancing around it appears where the flames are incinerating the beasts and the flames are lifted up and float towards the crane, forming a ring of fire around it. The ring of fire then flew upwards, spreading out and covering the sky, and lighting the clouds on fire. Corpses and golden blood start raining from the sky, bright flashes of various colours light up the burning clouds, multicoloured cyclones descend from the sky. Various winds sweep across the village, redirecting the cyclones towards the beast wave, and various beasts, mainly winged beasts, intercepted the cyclones and directed them upwards.

Boulders and rays of fire shoot over the village, but those too are dealt with by the beasts. A mountain in the distance explodes as the giant snake from before is seen coming out of the ground and fighting with immortal wielding hammers in both hands. A large chunk of the mountain flies directly towards the village, hitting multiple winged beasts and flying cultivators on the way. A bright golden shield appears around the village, and the mountain chunk shatters upon hitting it. A bright sword shaped light travels from above the village, causing blood to rain to the ground wherever it passes, and severing a mountain that the beast wave is rushing over.

Everything in the vicinity of the mountain is turned to small cubes along with the mountain, but behind the falling cubes of mountain and beast, there is more beasts. A tornado is formed behind all the falling cubes, picking all of them up and flinging them at the immortal above the village, killing many cultivators and winged beasts. The gold barrier around the village shifts to block the cubes, making all of them disintegrate on impact. Two giant beasts, one an eagle with wisps of poison dancing around it and the other a lion emitting a radiant glow, crash into the barrier, making it crack. The sword immortal engages both beasts, loud flashes light covering the sky and clouds of poison spreading through the air.

The poison in the air starts being collected to one point in the air, a man with a giant gourd on his back. He throws needles at the eagle, missing it, but causing an explosion where it landed in the beast wave, creating a grey cloud that caused all beasts touching it to rot into a black liquid. The lion and the eagle both soon fall to the ground with their heads severed. The giant snake in the distance has been hit so hard that it is thrown up above the clouds, and it came back down with multiple large gashes, burn marks and a lot of it's own blood running down it's body. It crashes down in the middle of the beast wave, crushing a large number of beasts. The immortal that's dual wielding hammers jumps to the snake, but gets bashed away by an equally giant bear, that then picks the snake up and throws it towards the golden barrier.

The barrier shatters, and the snake gets split in half by the sword immortal. As the halves of the snake fall to either side of the village, blood raining on everyone, a rainbow-coloured light flashed from the sky. Everything froze, but time did not stop. A figure covered in a blinding light descended from a hole in the sky. A voice resounded through the battlefield. "You were warned about my existence on this planet, yet you still dared to act." A snake of light separated from the figure, moving towards the monster wave. The very fabric of reality rippled as the snake slithered into seemingly nothing, and then a few seconds later came back, dragging what looked to be a demon. "You have violated cosmic laws, offended both the human and beast factions, for what, a small bit of excitement?" Thunder struck from the clouds, the fire attached to the clouds flickered, the earth rumbled. Such is the fury of this figure.

A gruesome smile spread across the demon, a grating laugh left the demon, making many beasts and humans alike bleed from their orifices. "Do you really believe that?" the demon spoke even as it laughed. The snake holding it started turning red, the clouds turned blood red, the flames burning them turned black as void. The snake shattered and the laugh of the demon intensified. "I almost pity how stupid you are." The demon grew bigger in an instant, reaching from the grounds to the clouds above. "I just wanted to see how long you ignored the slaughter before you came out, now I'll play with you." Darkness descended, and the multi-coloured light clashed against it. An explosion came from the boundary between light and dark, and everything went dark for the chief. When next he could see, there was a deep hole in the place of the battlefield he had witnessed, and molten rocks was spewing out of it. A blob of magma flew towards him, but passed through him before he could flinch.

On the edge of his vision, he saw the demon holding a person by the neck, multicoloured blood flowing out of them. "That was disappointing." The demon was still smiling widely, the smile now extending to the dark aura around it. "I'll take my spoils now." The dark aura expanded, covering the entire battlefield, and then pulling back, bringing what the chief could now see was the souls of every being that was on the battlefield towards the demon. Everything disappeared, the chief no longer exists.
