As days moved fast, one thing moved faster:

Gossip.

In Lupesia, rumors traveled quicker than horses, magic, and common sense combined. 😌

Workers were finishing their tasks before sunset.

Person 2:

"Did you hear?! The dangerous Queen Elda has been reborn!" 😱

Person 7:

"What?! Really?!" 😨

Person 5:

"Forget talking! Finish work fast before she curses overtime!" 😤

Person 3 looked left and right dramatically.

Person 3:

"What if she is standing here already?" 😶

Everyone instantly turned left.

Then right.

Then behind themselves somehow.

Person 1:

"Stop looking around and harvest faster!" 😤

Person 6 whispered:

"What if Person 3 is Queen Elda?" 😱

Person 3:

"What nonsense— wait… what?" 😨

Chaos began for no reason. 😂

Campbell Mansion 👑

Richard sat in the hall while ministers rushed in like birds carrying bad news.

Minister 4:

"My lord! A dangerous rumor is spreading through the kingdom!"

Richard:

"What now?" 😑

Minister 4:

"They say Queen Elda has returned!" 😱

Minister 5 stepped forward dramatically.

Minister 5:

"And Lord Adam's second daughter, Miss Kristen, has begun searching Lupesia's hidden history!" 😨

Minister 2 added fuel helpfully.

Minister 2:

"My lord, she vanished for three hours… then returned to the exact same spot!" 😱

Minister 1 leaned in like revealing state secrets.

Minister 1:

"And my lord… Miss Kristen wears a pendant that looks exactly like the Witch Queen's pendant." 😶

Richard stood up slowly.

Richard:

"…What?" 😳

Minister 3:

"Yes, my lord."

Richard:

"Or… hear me out…"

All ministers leaned closer.

Richard:

"…it could just be jewelry?" 😑

Ministers: 😶

Minister 4:

"That sounds too reasonable, my lord."

Richard held his forehead. 😂

Adam was pacing.

Adam:

"Kristen has been acting very strangely lately." 😤

Tiffiny nodded dramatically.

"And these rumors are spreading like wildfire, hubby!" 😱

Laura entered carrying books and gossip.

Laura:

"And it all started after Kristen came back from disappearing." 😶

Natalie folded her arms.

"Yes, Father… where did she go for three hours?" 😑

Rachel joined excitedly.

Rachel:

"What if she went to the ghost world?" 😊

Adam:

"No." 😤

Laura:

"What if she met a cursed prince?" 😍

Natalie:

"No." 😑

Tiffiny gasped loudly.

Tiffiny:

"What if she is Queen Elda reborn?!" 😱

Everyone turned slowly toward the stairs.

At that exact moment, Kristen walked down wearing the pendant and looking sleepy. 😶

Whole family screamed internally. 😱

Kristen:

"Why are you all staring at me?" 😤

Laura pointed dramatically.

Laura:

"She asks like a villain!" 😱

Kristen:

"I just woke up!" 😤

Natalie:

"Suspicious timing." 😌

Adam sat down tired.

Adam:

"I need peace."

Kristen grabbed fruit from table.

Kristen:

"You won't get it here." 😤
