"Okay, keep practicing. Once you learn it, we still have a lot of activities to try."
"Yeah."
Tsuna patted her on the back twice and tried to push her away.
She knew that when she came to this water park, she couldn't waste all her time learning to swim. Otherwise, she might as well go to the swimming pool to learn.
Before he could make a move, she quickly rubbed his face, raised the corners of her mouth slightly, let go of him, and took a few steps back.
"Okay, Coach Tsuna, I'll start practicing now!" Without waiting for him to speak, she held her breath and dived into the water to practice the move he had taught her before.
Then, under Tsuna's guidance, Shouko gradually mastered the key points of the move, and soon she was able to use these techniques to swim in a coherent manner.
Tsuna watched her swim a lap, then stood up from the water with a pouty face. Confused, Tsuna asked,
"What's wrong with Shouko-san? You've already learned to swim, yet you're still so sullen? Shouldn't you be so happy?"
Shouko held out her hands. "Reward, Coach Tsuna! Your student has learned to swim, shouldn't there be a reward?"
Tsuna raised his hand without hesitation and gently patted her outstretched hand. "You haven't even paid for the course, and you're still getting a reward?"
"Yesterday, I learned how to make cookies from my grandma. I'll make them for you tomorrow as payment, and then you can give me a reward, okay?"
"No," Tsuna shook his head, reaching out to grab her hand, urging her, "Let's go and try some fun activities!"
He knew that even if he refused, Shouko would still be giving him cookies the next day.
"Tsuna, slow down..." Even if he refused, he wasn't upset. After all, it was just a casual question.
After Tsuna returned the items he'd borrowed from the poolside staff, he turned and whispered to Shouko, who was waiting beside him,
"Shouko, which one do you want to try first?"
"Let me see..." Shouko's gaze drifted off into the distance, scanning the surroundings before she pointed to a light blue structure shaped like a giant funnel.
"How about we try that one first?"
"Okay, let's go." Tsuna looked in the direction she pointed and nodded without hesitation. Before he could reach for her hand, she snatched it away.
Seeing this, Tsuna's gaze followed the attraction she pointed to.
He remembered seeing it in the water park's flyer; it was called the 'Double Abyss Whirlpool.'
Two people rode a specially designed raft from a height into the whirlpool.
The raft then spun at high speed, surrounded by rushing water and a whistling wind, giving visitors an intense feeling of weightlessness and dizziness.
It was a thrilling attraction perfect for couples, I guess?
Tsuna caught a glimpse of water dripping from the ends of Shouko's hair, gleaming in the sunlight.
He was about to speak when she tugged him toward the line: "Don't be stunned, Tsuna."
————————
"It's our turn!" Shouko tugged on Tsuna's sleeve and repeated, "It's our turn!"
He and Shouko waited in line for over ten minutes before it was their turn. Throughout the queue, he could often hear the screams of the other riders.
"Come on, you two, hold on to those handles when you go down."
"Okay."
"Yes!"
With the help of the staff, the two of them boarded a blue two-person raft.
Shouko's ears burned, but she bravely moved forward half an inch. The raft was narrow, her back almost touching his chest.
This was the distance she had calculated when she was in line.
So when it was her and Tsuna's turn, she chose the front seat without hesitation.
That way, she could lie directly in his arms!
"It's about to start!"
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
As the staff counted down, Tsuna began to feel a little nervous.
Looking at the water channel, a scene from a movie he'd seen in a past life flashed through his mind.
The killer had installed cross-shaped blades in this high-speed slide, the kind that ripped anyone through.
He wondered if someone else had installed cross-shaped blades in this slide, but the thought was quickly dismissed.
And what Shouko said...
sorry, I didn't hear it at all. Besides, she was currently in someone's arms, secretly enjoying herself. How could she be nervous?
As the raft entered the swirling channel, it felt like it was being swept away by a tremendous force, plummeting downward at breakneck speed.
The speed was so fast that they barely had time to react. The wind whistled past their ears, like countless hands tugging at their hair and clothes.
They clutched the raft's handrails tightly, their knuckles white from the strain.
Even Shouko, still enjoying herself, couldn't help but lose focus.
Their bodies began to rock violently with the raft as it tossed left and right in the whirlpool.
The raft tilted left, leaving the person on the left half hanging in mid-air, desperately trying to pull themselves back with their hands.
Then it veered sharply right, leaving them feeling as if they were being thrown into the swift current, their hearts in their throats.
Their vision blurred, their vision now a blur of light and shadow, the rapidly passing walls of the slide.
Strange patterns of light and shadow appeared on the wall, but there was no time to discern their identities, so they passively looked at the next person.
"Ah~ Tsuna~!" Shouko's screams were elongated by the water.
Tsuna heard them, but didn't intend to reply, figuring Shouko wouldn't be able to hear them even if he did.
Before long, a flash of light passed before their eyes, and the raft's speed gradually slowed, but inertia continued to glide across the water.
The surface shimmered in the sunlight.
Their hair clung to their cheeks, their clothes clinging to their skin, outlining the youthful features of the young man and woman.
They exchanged glances, the fear, dizziness, and nervousness they'd felt in the passage transforming into a sense of elation after an intense experience.
Just as Tsuna was about to stand, the clever Shouko clung to Tsuna's embrace a few more times before rising.
"…" This action naturally left Tsuna speechless.
Who had turned his beloved Shouko into this? She wasn't like this before!
He felt the answer was close, but he just couldn't guess it.
————————
"Ah, Achoo...!"
"Did you catch a cold last night?"
"It was just a sneeze. It's okay, Mom."
Takagi, who was reading a manga, waved to her mother, urging her not to worry, and then returned her gaze to her comic book.
Meanwhile, Tsuna and Shouko sat on a bench for a moment to relax. He then asked again,
"What do you want to do next?"
"Hmm..." Shouko hesitated, her eyes narrowed, then lit up. "How about we go to that 'Double Abyss Whirlpool' again?"
"Not so good." Tsuna shook his head, poking her fair forehead.
How could he not know what was going on in her little head?
Seeing that this was not working, Shouko raised her hand and pointed at a random facility, changing the subject: "How about we go experience that? I see there are only a few people there."
"Are you sure?" Tsuna looked in the direction she pointed.
What came into view was a building shaped like a giant ice cream cone with the words 'Ice Cream Bomb House' written on it.
