Chapter 160 - [161] Record of Tsuna's Taste Preference

The two of them chatted about interesting things that happened recently while doing their homework until Shouko yawned instinctively.

Shouko glanced at the clock on the bedside table and saw that it was almost time, so she put all the completed homework into her schoolbag.

She stood up with her schoolbag and said with a little sleepiness: "Tsuna, I'm going back to sleep first!"

"Yeah, good night." Tsuna saw that a sleepy look had appeared on her face and did not try to persuade her to stay.

"Good night." Shouko put on her schoolbag, waved to him, opened the door, and went downstairs.

"Click..."

Tsuna did not look away until she closed the wooden door. He looked at the homework that she had done for him on the table and nodded with satisfaction.

"Auntie, I will make bento for Tsuna."

As Shouko passed by the living room, she suddenly remembered what she had just seen. She turned to look at Shizuka, who was swaying around inside, a little worried she might suddenly change... "Okay, remember to remind me the day before you make." Shizuka continued her yoga pose, choosing not to look at Shouko standing at the entrance to the living room.

"Yeah."

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight, godmother."

————————

"Are you making a bento for Tsuna too?"

Ito, who was preparing breakfast in the kitchen, noticed Shouko getting up early and going to the bathroom to wash up, and asked in confusion.

When she didn't respond, she took out her phone to check the time. It was only around 6:30 in the morning, still early for school.

"Good morning, grandma," Shouko said, emerging from the bathroom and entering the kitchen, greeting Grandma Ito with a cheerful expression as she busied herself with work.

"Good morning." Ito paused, guessing that Shouko hadn't heard her earlier, and asked again,

"Are you making Tsuna's lunch box today, too?"

"Yes, I'd like to be in charge of his lunch boxes from now on," Shouko nodded without hesitation.

Grandma Ito didn't have much to say about this. She felt, in her own opinion, that the Miyamura family next door had been like benefactors to her family.

From the time of Yaeko's divorce to now, from Shizuka's care for her family to Yaeko's promotion at work.

Most importantly, Shouko, whom she'd been most worried about and concerned about at first, had Tsuna's daily companionship and care, which gradually put her at ease.

So, not only would Tsuna's lunch box be prepared by Shouko from now on, but even his three meals a day, she wouldn't have any objections.

Shouko was about to start when she suddenly remembered something important she'd forgotten. "Grandma, Can you go ahead and get your notebook from my room," she whispered, leaving the kitchen.

"Okay," Grandma Ito nodded, returning to frying her breakfast dumplings.

She had also accidentally noticed that Shouko had a cooking notebook.

It recorded the details of each dish and the weight of the seasonings.

Several pages were filled with "Tsuna's Taste Preferences" and "Tsuna's Favorite Dishes," and the cover pages were each tucked away with a lucky four-leaf clover bookmark that Tsuna had given her in elementary school.

So, those detailed dishes were actually Tsuna's favorites...

A minute or two passed, and Shouko returned to the kitchen, clutching the black notebook. The two chatted casually as they prepared.

————————

On their way home from school that afternoon, the two encountered Yuzuru, who was also returning from school.

Shouko, upon seeing her, immediately responded with a flurry of worried questions: "Yuzuru, why are you so late today? Where's your friend? Did you have a fight?"

Tsuna silently reduced his presence and ignored the pleading glances Yuzuru threw at him.

He knew that Minato Elementary School usually ended at 3:00 PM sharp, and it was almost 3:40 PM now. Shouko asked this out of concern...

maybe...

Seeing this man ignore her pleading eyes and give her a helpless look, she glared at him in dissatisfaction.

She figured she'd make things a little harder for him when he wanted to marry her sister!

"Yuzuru, I'm asking you a question, why are you glaring at Tsuna?"

Seeing her hesitant to speak and still staring at Tsuna, Shouko honestly suspected Tsuna was involved.

"Sis, Chiji-chan and I aren't having a fight. She had something to do at noon today and asked for leave."

Yuzuru pulled two pet necklace bells from her bag and explained,

"The reason I'm back late is because it took me some time to engrave the words on them."

Upon hearing this, Tsuna came over to examine Nishimiya's bells and immediately noticed the words 'Tsuna & Shouko' engraved on one of the bells.

He couldn't help but grumble quietly, "Why does it look so much like a pet tag?"

Naturally, the other two present didn't hear this.

Tsuna shifted her gaze to another one, the same one as before, except the name had been changed to "Shouko & Yuzuru."

Retracting his gaze, he turned to look at Yuzuru, who was waiting nearby, and asked curiously, "Why did you suddenly want to carve this thing?"

"It's nothing," Yuzuru explained casually with a wave of her hand.

"I was just passing by a store after school, and Chiji-chan and I noticed something inside, so I suddenly wanted to get a bell for Hachiko."

Shouko's gaze lingered on the bell engraved with "Tsuna & Shouko," then she returned the two necklace bells to Yuzuru, still threatening,

"Next time, come home early after school, or you'll be caught by human traffickers."

Yuzuru put the two bells back into her schoolbag, oblivious to her sister's threats. She wasn't a three-year-old anymore.

"I know, I know. If you keep nagging me like that, Tsuna-san won't want you!"

She perfunctorily jumped at her sister before sprinting off.

Seeing this, Shouko handed her backpack to someone, glaring at them before chasing after her.

"..." Tsuna, facing the innocent glare, was speechless.

"Sister…sister…sister! I was wrong."

Just as she reached her doorstep, before she could even get her key to open it, Shouko, who had caught up with her, grabbed her. Yuzuru begged for mercy.

Shouko hugged Yuzuru's belly, checking Tsuna's position. Seeing that he was still walking slowly, she released the unstruggling figure and fiercely threatened,

"I'll forgive you, but you have to give me the bell engraved with 'Tsuna & Shouko.'"

Yuzuru quickly opened her bag, took out the necklace, and handed it to her.

Although she was still young, she was quite intelligent. She had already noticed that her sister had a crush on Tsuna-san.

Although it seems that anyone with a discerning eye can see it...

After taking it, Shouko unpacked the bell and necklace without hesitation: "You can take the necklace back. I don't need it. I just want the bell."

"I'm going to play at Tsuna's house first. Remember to call me when grandma prepares dinner."

Shouko saw that Tsuna was almost at his door. After putting the bell into the hidden pocket of her skirt, she hurriedly picked it up and walked towards him.

"Yeah, sister, remember to ask Hachiko to come to me. I'll wait for him here."

"Got it." Shouko raised her hand and waved without looking back.
