"Waking up so early today?"
Shizuka turned around upon hearing footsteps coming down the stairs. She saw her own brat walking down in his gym clothes. Her eyebrows raised, and she couldn't help but tease,
"Miyamura-kun, are you planning to go for a run?"
"Yeah," Tsuna nodded, ignoring her joking and going to the entrance to change his shoes.
Seeing this, Shizuka didn't say anything more teasingly. She just said, "Be careful," and then turned and went to the bathroom.
"I'm leaving, Mom!" Tsuna suddenly shouted towards the bathroom after changing his shoes.
"If you want to run, run quickly. Don't wake your dad." Shizuka peeked out of the bathroom and raised her clenched fist.
Then, not forgetting to remind her, "Watch the road. It rained last night. Don't fall."
"Yeah."
"Click..."
Shizuka watched him close the door and shook her head helplessly. However, she thought it was a good idea for him to get up early for a run. It was good for his health.
I hope I can keep going for a while and not be a flash in the pan.
Tsuna glanced at his watch as he walked out the door. It was six o'clock, and there were still two and a half hours before the required arrival time at school.
By this time, the sky was already getting brighter, and without much hesitation, Tsuna began to run slowly in one direction, gradually accelerating.
"Beep, beep..."
As the watch detected that Tsuna had run two kilometers, it vibrated and rang to remind him, and he gradually slowed down, turning off the watch's reminder ring.
Because it was his first time running, he didn't run very fast. Now he looked at his watch and saw that about 20 minutes had passed.
He took out a small package of tissues from his pocket, took out one, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and slowly walked back home.
At this time, the number of pedestrians on the road had gradually increased, and some breakfast shops were full of people.
"Miyamura?"
Tsuna, who was walking slowly on the road, suddenly heard a familiar voice calling his name from behind.
He paused and looked back, only to see his former sixth-grade class monitor, Kawai, clutching several clear plastic bags emblazoned with the breakfast shop's logo. Inside, they were filled with steamed buns, dumplings, and other items.
"Good morning," Tsuna said, turning back and continuing his walk.
"Wait for me!" Kawai, clearly not wanting to miss such a good opportunity to strike up a conversation, hurried after him, asking,
"Did you just finish your run?"
She'd noticed him running past while waiting in line for breakfast, but since she was in the queue, she couldn't call out, so she missed him. She'd never expected to run into him again, just a few steps out of the shop after buying breakfast.
She almost suspected he'd done it on purpose. Hey...
"Yeah." Tsuna figured anyone with eyesight could tell from the way he was sweating—
Oh, he'd forgotten; he'd just wiped the sweat off his forehead.
"Kawai, did you just finish your breakfast?" He panted slightly, choosing to ask a random question.
"Yes, yes."
"School just started today, and my mom said she couldn't wake up early, so she asked me to buy breakfast."
"Have you had breakfast?"
"If not, I bought some extra. Do you want some?"
"Don't be polite with me. I can't finish all this."
"Do you want some soy milk? I only bought one cup, but I don't really like it."
Tsuna didn't know which to respond to first. Logically, shouldn't everyone be silent after he asked this nonsense?
Why did it trigger her chatter function?
"No thanks." Tsuna waved his hand and declined. "I appreciate your kindness. My mom should have prepared breakfast.
Besides, I don't have much of an appetite right now. I want to go home and take a shower."
He glanced at his watch and made up an excuse: "It's getting late. I'll go back and take a shower. Next time we have a chance, I'll take Shouko and treat you to breakfast."
With that, he started running towards home again.
"Okay." Despite being rejected, Kawai remained undaunted. She waved to him and walked happily towards her home.
————————
"I'm back!"
"Hurry up and take a shower. You must be smelling of sweat now."
"Why did you think of going for a run today?"
Tsuna took off his shoes at the entrance, put on slippers, and stepped into the corridor. Then he slowly explained, "I just wanted to go for a run and exercise."
"That's a good idea. I support it." Daisuke, who was sitting at the dining table reading a newspaper, looked up at Tsuna, who walked into the kitchen to get a drink of water.
At this time, Shizuka came out of the kitchen with a plate of dumplings. She didn't want to respond to Daisuke,
"It's not you who's running. You must support it."
After she finished speaking, she changed the subject and added, "But it would be great if you could get up in the morning and go for a run like Tsuna."
"Hehe..." Daisuke flipped the newspaper in his hand. "Again, let's put one thing first."
"You have some fat on your belly now, did you know that?"
Shizuka pushed the plate of dumplings in front of him and didn't forget to pour him a glass of milk. Then she rolled her eyes at him and walked back to the kitchen.
"You didn't say that last night..." Daisuke retorted quietly, watching her back.
Tsuna ignored their early morning flirting. After finishing his glass of water, he hurried back upstairs to grab his school clothes and rushed into the bathroom. After
about ten minutes, Tsuna emerged, wiping his hair with a gray towel.
"Tsuna, do you want me to blow-dry your hair?"
"Good morning, Shouko! When did you get here?" Tsuna
heard Shouko's voice as he stepped out of the bathroom. Looking over, he saw a head popping out of the living room, staring intently at him.
"Just as you went into the shower a little while ago."
Shouko walked out of the living room, pulled him in, and, pushing him onto the sofa, took the towel from his hand and began gently wiping him.
"Have you had breakfast?" Tsuna didn't resist, letting her take over naturally.
"Yeah," Shouko nodded. Seeing she was almost done, she handed the towel back to him, walked out of the living room, and returned a short time later with a white hairdryer.
After turning on the power, he first felt the temperature with his hand before blowing on it.
With the noise of the hair dryer, the two of them tacitly did not say anything.
After a minute or two, when Shouko saw that it was almost done, she turned off the hair dryer and went over to smell the scent of his hair. "Hmm, it smells good!"
"Pervert..."
"If you say that again, I'll bite you!" Shouko bared her big white teeth at him.
"Knock knock..."
The two were still chatting when Tsuna suddenly heard a knock on the door frame. He looked over and saw his mother standing at the entrance of the living room, looking at him and Shouko.
The expression on her face was very familiar to him. He had the same expression on his face when he saw her flirting with his father before.
