Chapter 116 - [117] A Sudden Downpour

"Bang... Bang... Bang...!"

Mr. Takeuchi, standing at the podium, closed his textbook, said, "School dismissed," and quickly walked out of the classroom.

All day, Shōya was busy trying to find the culprit who had graffitied his desk and chairs, asking questions here and there, but unfortunately, he got nothing.

Even when he questioned some people, they didn't even look at him, so he just swallowed his anger and walked away to ask someone else.

"Let's go," Miu waved happily at the two people emerging from the classroom, afraid they hadn't noticed.

They walked over to them, greeted them, and then went downstairs to find Yuzuru.

Tsuna had grown accustomed to Miu's joy. Ever since she won first place, she'd always had that same smile on her face, practically writing, "I stole your first place!" She'd be back to her old ways in a week or so, so he didn't have to do much to help her correct it.

"Tsuna." The five of them were strolling on the way home when Miu suddenly called him, causing the other three to look at her.

"What?" Tsuna replied indifferently. His sixth sense told him that Miu might not have anything good to say next.

Miu thought for a while while walking and finally turned her head to look at someone and said slowly, "Tsuna, can you stand on National Highway 109, and when a big truck comes out, you jump out to scare it?"

Shouko didn't understand what the national highway meant but knew that the following sentence was not funny, so she helped Tsuna teach her a lesson:

"Miu, this joke is not funny at all. When the big truck comes out, Tsuna will get hurt if he does this."

He clenched his fist. This was no longer a matter of injury. This could cause him to puncture the tire again, but he still asked her uncertainly,

"Miu, do you know what National Highway means?"

He felt that Miu wasn't that smart. She probably heard this from others and then wrote it down because those people thought it was funny.

Tsuna's words aroused doubts in the others. They really didn't know what the national highway meant. Even Miu, who said that vicious word, didn't know what the national highway meant.

Shouko was the first to stop what she was doing, turned her head, and asked in confusion, "What does the national highway mean?"

Seeing this, Miu hurriedly hid behind Chika for protection. Although Tsuna didn't hit hard, it was the right thing to do, and it could also make Shouko stop.

Finally, Tsuna slowly explained to them what the national highway meant.

"Drip..." As a drop of rain fell on a puddle.

Before everyone could react, it began to rain heavily. Tsuna and the other two saw that they were only a little away from home and there was no place to hide from the rain nearby.

The three of them directly picked up their schoolbags and put them on their heads and started running towards home.

"Where's my sister?" After Yuzuru opened the door of her house with the key, she hurried in, then turned around and didn't see her sister, so she couldn't help but wonder.

"Shouko, why didn't you follow Yuzuru back to your house to take a shower? Why did you follow me?" Tsuna stood at the entrance, looking at the girl beside him speechlessly.

His eyes inadvertently swept across the girl's special parts, and he quickly retracted his gaze. Even though his whole body was wet, he could still clearly feel the temperature of his face rising.

Under normal circumstances, girls begin their first slight development at around 10 years old, but because they all wear small clothes plus that one outside.

So from the appearance, it can be said that there is almost no obvious change.

Shouko usually wears those loose clothes, and she has never noticed anything unusual.

But this time, the sudden rain had left the girl practically drenched. She was wearing a white T-shirt, the pale pink underneath clearly visible.

The wetness of her clothes clung to her, making areas that were usually invisible visible. For the past ten years, the girl had been constantly fed by her mother and herself, so her face still had a hint of baby fat.

Unlike other hearing-impaired children, she hadn't been bullied or excluded by other children. The constant stress had disrupted her hormone levels, affecting her development.

Tsuna, lost in thought, involuntarily gravitated towards her already slightly curved area, and the person in question noticed.

"Tsuna! What are you looking at?" She looked down, her ears flushing instantly, followed by a flush on her face. She quickly covered her ears with her hands.

But she didn't dare scream too loudly, fearing she'd attract Aunt Miyamura's attention and inevitably tease him. And she didn't want her to tease him about such a thing.

This remark snapped someone out of his trance. Seeing Shouko's expression, he knew she'd probably misunderstood. He quickly shook his head in denial,

"It's not what you think. I was just thinking. I'm not lying, okay?"

"What's wrong? The bath isn't ready yet. Wait a minute." His excited words caught the attention of Shizuka in the bathroom.

"It's okay, Mom. I'm not in a hurry," Tsuna hurriedly replied, fearing she'd wander out of curiosity and witness the scene.

"I wouldn't believe you, you were staring at me so clearly!" Shizuka's words startled Shouko, who lowered her voice to retort.

She looked at Tsuna's flushed cheeks and knew her own wasn't much better. Without hesitation, she ran out, suddenly wanting to cool down in the rain.

Without waiting for further explanation, Shouko ran out, not even taking the umbrella at the entrance.

Tsuna stood at the door, watching her return home before slowly closing his own door.

What a loss! This thought popped up unconsciously in his mind. He was truly lost. He was genuinely thinking about something at the time. Although his eyes had lingered there, he hadn't really had the energy to appreciate it.

No! He wasn't a lolita complex, what the hell!

Just then, Shizuka emerged from the bathroom and saw Tsuna standing alone in the entranceway, not even changing his shoes. She couldn't help but wonder,

"What's going on? He just got caught in the rain for a little while. Why does he seem so dazed?"

"No, no, it's nothing. She went back to shower with Yuzuru." Tsuna's thoughts faded, and he waved at Shizuka, making up a random excuse.

"Hurry up and shower. Be careful not to catch a cold." Shizuka ignored his strange expression and the slightly flushed cheeks, leaving this sentence and heading back to the living room.

Tsuna only then felt the strange sensation of the clothes sticking to his skin, still wondering how he was going to explain it to Shouko later.
