Chapter 31 - It’s You! Hachiko!

"Tsuna, lazybones! The sun's about to shine right on your butt get up and get ready for kindergarten!"

The six-year-old Shouko stood beside the bed, calling Tsuna in her baby voice as she gently shook his shoulder. When that didn't work after a while, she decided to pull out her trump card.

Shouko walked to the top of the stairs and called out loudly, "Hachiko!!"

After a moment, a red Shiba Inu with a round head, pronounced forehead, long muzzle, and lips curled into an upturned smile, bounding happily, came rushing up from the first floor.

Shouko first reached out and gently stroked Hachiko's head, then led him into Tsuna's room. Raising her left hand, she pointed at Tsuna lying on the bed and gave a serious command to Hachiko beside her: "Go, Hachiko! Wake up, Tsuna."

"Awoo~!". Hachiko excitedly shook his tail, ran onto Tsuna's bed in a few steps, and began to lick Tsuna's face with his tongue.

Tsuna woke up, speechless, as he felt the familiar wetness and smell on his face. Ever since middle year started, Shouko's way of waking him up was to command Hachiko to use his "tongue licking" skill on him.

"Woof woof!" Hachiko saw that his master woke up and hurried out of bed. Shouko knew that Tsuna was awake when Hachiko returned to her side. When her eyes shifted from Hachiko to Tsuna's face on the bed, she saw that Tsuna's face was ruined.

"Tsuna, hurry up and put on your school uniform. Aunt Miyamura is waiting for us downstairs." Shouko chuckled and said this before running downstairs with Hachiko.

Tsuna raised his hand to rub his eyes, quickly got up, and changed into the blue kindergarten uniform that had not changed in three years. He couldn't help but sigh that time passed so quickly. He would go to elementary school next year, and Yuzuru would also go to kindergarten. If that counted, she would still be taught by Teacher Yoshinaga.

He immediately collected his thoughts, took the yellow hat from the bedside table next to him, and quickly ran downstairs.

As soon as Tsuna ran downstairs, he heard Daisuke's laughter coming from the kitchen, accompanied by the sound of newspapers being flipped: "Haha, the little brat woke up with a morning kiss so early in the morning."

Tsuna walked towards the bathroom speechlessly, not wanting to pay attention to his Dad.

After coming out of the bathroom, he walked to the dining room, sat in an empty chair, picked up the sandwich Shizuka had prepared on the table, took a bite, and curiously asked Daisuke, who was reading the newspaper nearby, "Dad, where's Mom?"

"She went to see your Aunt Nishimiya. What's wrong? If you have any problems, just tell me, I can solve it." Daisuke's eyes shifted from the newspaper in his hand to Tsuna, who was eating a sandwich.

Tsuna shook his head to indicate that it was nothing and then continued to eat the sandwich. Daisuke looked at Tsuna, who seemed to be hesitant to speak and was a little unconvinced.

He put down the newspaper he was holding and said, "If you have any problems, just tell Dad. It's not like I can't help you solve them." Tsuna glanced at him, swallowed the sandwich in his mouth, and said, "Give me some pocket money."

"I thought it was something else. Wait!" Daisuke stood up and walked towards the master bedroom.

After a while, Daisuke returned to the dining room from the master bedroom with a yellow envelope in his hand.

Tsuna was shocked to see the private money in Daisuke's hand. Daisuke ignored Tsuna's surprised eyes, took out a 1,000 yen note from the envelope put it in front of Tsuna, and said boldly, "Is it enough?"

Tsuna shook his head stiffly, and Daisuke took out a note and put it on top of that note, then raised his eyebrows to Tsuna to indicate whether it was enough.

But seeing that Tsuna still shook his head, he was a little confused, wondering why a child needed so much money, but he still took out a note and put it on top of the two notes.

He looked at Tsuna again and saw that he was still shaking his head, a little confused, but he still took out one.

At the back, there were a dozen 1,000 yen notes on the table. Daisuke felt a little distressed, but he still looked at Tsuna, asking if it was enough, and wanted to get Tsuna's admiring eyes.

Daisuke looked closely and noticed that Tsuna's expression had already been replaced by fear, and his eyes would occasionally pass through him.

Daisuke suddenly thought of something terrifying and was startled. He slowly turned his head and looked behind him, and saw Shizuka looking at him with a smile on her face. He instantly remembered the first time Tsuna shook his head stiffly.

Daisuke turned around and said to Shizuka with an awkward smile: "Wife, this is..."

Daisuke was interrupted by Shizuka with a kind face before he finished speaking: "I know, I understand you, you don't have to explain so much to me."

Hearing what Shizuka said, Daisuke quietly breathed a sigh of relief. But Shizuka suddenly turned her head and shouted to the living room: "Hachiko! Come and use 'tongue licking' on this old man!"

Hachiko, who had his head lying on Shouko's legs and enjoying a moment of head-stroking service, heard what Shizuka said, and quickly stood up and ran to the kitchen, leaving Shouko in the living room with a confused face.

"Wife, I met a new fishing friend, but my equipment is much worse than his, so I want to change to better one. This money is not for looking for something else." Daisuke hurriedly begged for mercy and explained the reason. He didn't want to have a good morning kiss like Tsuna.

In the end, Daisuke still couldn't avoid Hachiko's "tongue-licking" attack. Shizuka also said that it would not happen again and asked him to put the money away.

Tsuna and Shouko were driven to the kindergarten gate by Daisuke and drove away. He was a little impatient to buy new equipment.

Tsuna held Shouko's hand and looked at Daisuke, who left in silence. However, the two were already familiar with this kindergarten, so he didn't need to send them to the class.

At the kindergarten gate, he saw Teacher Ageo and Teacher Yoshinaga talking and laughing. He held Shouko's hand and walked up to greet the two.

The content of their conversation was that Teacher Yoshinaga complained to Teacher Ageo about her husband. Teacher Yoshinaga found a boyfriend when they were still in kindergarten, and got married when Tsuna and Shouko were in the middle year class. Although no invitations were sent to Tsuna and Shin-chan at the wedding, a lot of wedding candies were still distributed to the children.

Teacher Yoshinaga greeted the two of them and curiously asked, "Are you happy this summer vacation?" After saying that, she squatted down and gently rubbed Shouko's little face.

"Happy!"

"I'm not happy when I have to go to school again!"

Teacher Ageo let go of her hand, smiled, and stood up. Every time school starts, the two cute kids answer like this.

"Okay, come in quickly, our Sakura class is on the third floor, don't forget."

Tsuna and Shouko nodded to indicate that they knew, and Tsuna took Shouko's little hand and walked into the kindergarten. After seeing her students walk in, Teacher Ageo continued to chat with Teacher Yoshinaga.

Tsuna met Principal Takakura, who was shoveling sand in the sand pit. He greeted him politely and asked loudly, "Boss, are you burying someone?"

As soon as Tsuna said this, the new parents and children around him all turned their attention to Principal Takakura, who was shoveling sand in the sandpit. Seeing Principal Takakura's dark expression, they were even more shocked. After all, Principal Takakura's face had always been dark, never pale...
