IN THE ABANDONED BUILDING
Amber's eyes fluttered open. 😐
Her body ached everywhere, but she forced herself up.
She untied the rope around her waist, lifted Justin, and placed him gently into Jonathan's arms.
Everyone who had rushed in stood frozen.
Laurant glared, confused and furious.
Laurant: "How are you even alive after falling from the first floor?!" 😡
She paused, eyes narrowing.
"Wait… weren't you with—"
Amber: "—with Eric?" 😏
She tilted her head, amused.
"You really thought I wouldn't know?
Girl, you shouldn't have underestimated me."
Amber gestured around them.
Amber: "Open your eyes and look.
The truth has already come out."
Laurant looked around.
Every single person stared at her with disgust and betrayal. 😶
Megan stepped forward, tears falling.
Megan: "Why… why did you do all this?" 😢
Laurant only smiled.
A cold, empty, broken smile. 🙂
Amber walked closer, her presence dangerous and dominating.
Her voice dropped, low and deadly.
Amber:
"You think you can do anything you want, darling?
But the villainess of this story…
isn't you."
She leaned closer.
"…It's ME." 😡
Steve pointed a gun at Amber, standing guard by the piranha tank.
Laurant straightened her back.
Laurant: "You think you can still be happy after this? No—"
Amber lifted a hand, silencing her.
She stood beside the tank, lowering herself slowly to the floor as the pain from the fall cut through her limbs.
Still, her eyes remained fierce.
Amber:
"Let me tell you a story before you die."
Laurant scoffed, but Amber's voice filled the entire warehouse.
Amber:
"There was once a boy… born with the curse of loneliness." 😐
She continued, staring at the water.
"He was left alone in a hospital by his own mother.
Mocked by everyone.
Bullied every day."
Justin's breath caught.
Jonathan tightened his hold on him.
Amber:
"Every whisper said the same thing—
'Your mother abandoned you.'
'No one wants you.'
'You were thrown away.'"
Laurant blinked, confused.
"Why are you telling me this—?"
Amber's eyes snapped up, cold and sharp.
Amber:
"Because that lonely boy…
grew up with a heart full of scars.
And someone made sure he never knew the truth."
Everyone turned toward Laurant.
Amber stood slowly, even though her body trembled.
Amber:
"You took a child's fate, twisted it, and called it a game.
But now?"
She raised her chin.
"…now the real villain has arrived."
Amber's eyes burned with fire.
