Lauran paced slowly in front of Jonathan, shadows slicing across his face.
Lauran: "Brother‑in‑law… all these years, you all misunderstood something." 😏
Jonathan frowned, chest tightening.
Jonathan: "What are you talking about?"
Lauran smirked bitterly.
Lauran:
"You thought my stepbrother abused me.
You thought he hurt me."
He shook his head with a twisted laugh.
"That wasn't the truth."
Jonathan froze. Justin's breathing grew louder.
Lauran continued:
"He was my lover." 😐
"The day your brother found us, what he saw wasn't an attack. It was something I wanted. Something we both agreed to."
Jonathan's brows furrowed, disbelief rising.
Lauran:
"But your brother—your oh‑so‑righteous brother—thought he was protecting me.
He misunderstood.
He lashed out.
And from that moment… he fell in love with me."
Jonathan's eyes widened in horror.
Lauran's voice cracked with rage.
Lauran:
"I never asked for that!
I was planning to run away from the marriage, to be with the man I loved… but your wife stepped in."
His tone turned venomous.
Lauran:
"And because she interfered—
because she tried to help—
my lover died, Jonathan Devis." 😡
"My whole world shattered that day."
He pointed at Jonathan with shaking anger.
Lauran:
"So tell me—
Shouldn't I make your wife feel the same pain?" 😈
"If I kill you… and your son…
don't you think she will break?"
Justin trembled, rope straining above him.
Lauran glared at him.
Lauran: "I wanted my revenge slow. I wanted to make all of you hate her first."
He exhaled sharply.
Lauran:
"But this boy—"
He pointed at Justin with irritation.
"—this boy ruined my plan with his strange behaviour.
Everything collapsed!" 😡
Jonathan was speechless.
Justin couldn't even breathe properly.
Lauran leaned in closer, eyes burning.
Lauran:
"Oh… you don't know what really happened that day, do you?" 😈
"Let me tell you the truth your wife never dared to speak."
