The man was about to walk off, clearly annoyed… until Lusifer whispered,

The man froze.
Lusifer: "Wow… what a name… na—" 😶
Man: "Joseph Devis." 😏

He blinked, stunned, as Joseph's name sank in.
Lusifer (thinking to himself):
