The words struck Daniel like a thunderbolt. His eyes widened, and his face froze.
"My father? What do you mean?" he asked, disbelief coloring his voice.
As far as Daniel knew, his father wasn't the kind of man who would provoke anyone—especially not the Singularity of Chaos.
The man had always been terrified of him. And yet now, the Singularity of Chaos was claiming that his father was the reason behind the attack and destruction of the capital?
It was hard to believe!
The Singularity of Chaos gave a cold smile and replied flatly, "Your father harmed someone I was protecting. Isn't that reason enough for me to collect the debt?"
A sharp pain gripped Daniel's chest. He hadn't expected things to turn out like this.
