Chapter 17 - Tour of Tiansheng Group

While giving him a tour of the company, Chen Hao began speaking with enthusiasm.

"Mr. Lin, our company originally started as a real estate firm," he explained, gesturing toward the large project models displayed along the corridor. "But after some time, we also began developing commercial complexes and large-scale community projects…"

He went on for nearly five minutes, passionately narrating the company's history and its achievements over the years.

"…And now, our group's total valuation stands at almost 14 billion RMB," Chen Hao concluded proudly.

"Of course, I'm sure you must already know all this," he added with a polite smile. "But I still felt it was necessary to give you a proper introduction."

"I already know most of what you said," Lin Hao replied calmly, his tone smooth and composed. "Let's talk about other matters."

In truth, Lin Hao didn't know anything about the company beyond one key fact — that 15% of its shares were worth about 2 billion RMB. But as a newly shareholder, he couldn't afford to show any nervousness. His calm demeanor was the best armor he had.

Chen Hao, observing him quietly, couldn't help but feel impressed.

He really has the presence of a shareholder, Chen thought. To spend billions for 15% shares and still remain so composed at this age—what a mentality.

"Mr. Lin," Chen Hao said, stopping in front of a wide glass door, "this is our group's simulation room for our newly developed residential community."

He opened the door, revealing a spacious hall filled with miniature models of skyscrapers, parks, and roads — a breathtakingly detailed replica of a modern city district.

Lin Hao stepped closer, his eyes lighting up slightly. Just imagining the sales of all those properties brought a spark of excitement to his heart.

"If all of these units sell," he thought with a faint smile, "my wallet's going to get a lot heavier."

"Very good," Lin Hao said aloud, nodding in satisfaction. "Very good indeed."

Chen Hao smiled. "Well, our tour is nearly complete. I was thinking of holding a small meeting to officially welcome you. After all, many senior executives and employees don't yet know who you are. What do you think?"

Lin Hao glanced around the bustling office floor. As they had walked through earlier, he had noticed the curious stares, the whispers behind glass doors. People were clearly wondering about the young man walking beside the company's president.

"You're right," Lin Hao finally said. "Go ahead and arrange it."

"Please wait a moment then," Chen Hao replied before quickly hurrying off.

Lin Hao returned to the office and poured himself a cup of tea. Barely ten minutes later, Chen Hao had already summoned the department heads and instructed everyone to attend an emergency meeting in the main conference hall.

Before Lin Hao could even finish his tea, Chen appeared again, smiling. "Mr. Lin, everything is ready. Please, this way."

Moments later, Lin Hao found himself standing on a stage at the front of a large conference room, facing dozens of executives and managers. The sight made his heart skip for a moment — he hadn't stood in front of such a crowd since he sang a children's song back in elementary school.

But this time, he is not a student — he is a man worth billions. Straightening his posture, Lin Hao cleared his throat and began.

"Hello everyone," he said with a confident smile. "My name is Lin Hao. I know many of you may not have seen me before, or even heard of me. But after today's meeting, I'm sure that will change."

A faint murmur spread through the crowd. Lin continued smoothly, finding his rhythm.

"This meeting serves two main purposes: first, to let everyone get familiar with me; and second…"

(We'll skip over his long, formal speech here — it lasted nearly thirty minutes of polite introductions, company values, and optimistic goals.)

Finally, Lin Hao ended with a relaxed smile. "That would be all for today. Thank you for your time."

The audience applauded lightly before dispersing.

After the meeting, Chen Hao approached him respectfully. "Mr. Lin, would you like me to arrange a car to take you home?"

Lin Hao waved his hand. "No need. I drove myself."

He made his way to the underground parking lot, where his matte black Mercedes-Benz G-Class waited. Sliding into the driver's seat, he started the engine.

The deep growl of the Big G echoed through the lot as Lin Hao drove off, his calm expression hiding the excitement brewing in his chest.
