"Go upstairs first," Albus ordered.
Fiona saw that everyone around her were looking at her disdainfully. It was not a bad idea to hide for the time being.
She went back to her room. The more she thought about it, the more she felt that something was wrong. Her clothes were in good condition, so why would Cassandra pull her collar down all of a sudden?
The only explanation was that Cassandra knew everything.
She wanted to ask Cassandra about it and hear the truth. When she passed by Cassandra's room, she heard Linden's voice.
"You did it, didn't you?"
"Yes, I did it. I'm already pregnant with your child, and you still want to marry Fiona. What do you want me and the child to do? Do you want my child to call you 'uncle'?" Fiona's heart skipped a beat. She staggered and held on to the wall to support herself. Her hands were shaking, and she was in great shock. She could barely breath.
Cassandra had been together with Linden for quite a while.
Cassandra was even pregnant with Linden's child!
No wonder Linden always bought two gifts every time: one for Fiona and one for Cassandra.
No wonder she saw Linden coming out of Cassandra's room quite a few times.
No wonder Linden would go shopping and watch movies together with Cassandra.
Was it because she was stupid, or was it because they merely thought of her as a pushover?
Cassandra actually ordered someone to drug her and made her everyone's subject of humiliation. Fiona opened the door angrily.
"Cassandra, do you even have a conscience? I'm so stupid to have regarded you as my birth sister all along."
"No one wants to be your sister! Everyone thinks that you're perfect. You're pretty with a good body, and you're also good at studying. You even graduated from the best university. Other people compare me to you all the time!"
"Is that why you ordered someone to raped me?" Fiona could no longer keep her cool.
"Only by chasing you out of the family can I get all of father's property for myself."
"Really? Will I be chased out, or will you be chased out instead? Our father can be the judge!" Fiona's eyes were red. She grabbed Cassandra's hand and dragged her away.
"Fiona, let go! Linden, save me!"
Cassandra scratched Fiona's hand as she tried to break free.
Blood flowed out of the scratches on Fiona's hand.
Linden pulled Fiona's hand away and said, "Fi, can you be gentler? You're going to hurt Cassandra.
"I'm going to hurt her?" Fiona found Linden very unreasonable.
She clenched her fists so hard that her knuckles turned white.
"She ordered someone to rape me. Don't you think that l'm hurt too? And when you sleep with her, have you never thought about how it's going to hurt me?"
"Keep your voice down. As an older sister, can't you understand that Cassandra is a willful girl? She's still a child, after all," Linden said disdainfully.
Fiona found this ridiculous. When Linden slept with Cassandra, why didn't he think of the fact that Cassandra was a child?
"I'll marry you, so we're even. You no longer pure, anyway."
"And who's fault is it that l'm no longer pure? Marry me? I'm sorry. I'm not a saint, and I can't forgive you guys for the heinous things you've done." Fiona tried to grab Cassandra's hand.
Cassandra dodged. She suddenly had an idea and ran over to the top of the stairs. She then said to Linden, "Fiona doesn't want you anymore, and you'll never get to be with her again. You should know what choice to make now, shouldn't you?"
"What do you mean?" Linden was confused.
"Linden, you'll take my side, won't you? You're my only man, but Fiona's virginity had been taken away by another man," Cassandra pleaded. Linden was silent.
Cassandra gritted her teeth as she stared maliciously at Fiona. She smiled a little and rolled down the stairs...
Albus and the others heard Cassandra rolling down the stairs and ran over.
Casandra pointed at Fiona as she lay on the floor.
"Father, Fiona pushed me down the stairs. It hurts! Boo-hoo..."
Fiona was stunned by Cassandra's act. She stared at Cassandra coldly and insisted.
"I didn't push her."
"Linden can prove it."
Fiona looked at Linden, but Linden wasn't looking at her. He met Cassandra's anticipatory gaze and said in a low voice, "Fiona pushed Cassandra." Fiona had a moment of heartache, but more than that, she was disappointed and furious.
She was so furious that she wanted to tear up these hypocrites' faces.
However, she was no match for them. She would only make things worse for herself if she were to get physical.
She flashed an ironic smile and said coldly, "You two betrayed me first, and Cassandra even ordered someone to rape me. Now, you are accusing me for something I didn't do. Aren't you afraid of karma?"
"What nonsense is that? Albus, Fiona's reputation is gone, and now she's trying to drag Cass down the drain with her. How is the Saison family going to face the world from now onwards?" Cassandra's mother said provocatively.
"These are not nonsense. The evidence is in Cassandra's stomach. She's pregnant with Linden's child." Fiona's eyes were red as she defended herself.
"Is that why you slept with some random man to take revenge on Linden, accused Cass of finding someone to rape you, and pushed Cass down the stairs? You're such a heinous woman!"
"It was Cass ordered someone to drug and rape me! She rolled down the stairs herself!" Fiona raised her voice.
"That's enough!" Albus glared at Fiona.
"Apologize to Cass."
"I didn't do anything wrong. Why should I apologize?" Fiona remained stubborn.
Albus said aggressively, "You can choose to either apologize or get out of here!"
Tears welled up in Fiona's eyes.
"Since you're going to chase me out if I don't apologize, what are you going to do about Cassandra? She stole my boyfriend."
"Cass stole your boyfriend? If Linden didn't like Cass, they wouldn't have gotten together. The person who's not loved is the third party in a relationship, and it's your fault for sullying yourself after that. It's even more wrong for you to push Cass down the stairs." Cassandra's mother scolded Fiona.
