Rosa is now referred to as Tabitha from here on till further notice.
Everyone was at the party already, multiple people have asked Louis about Tabitha and since she's ignoring his calls he believes she wasn't going to come.
" Is your wife still coming or has she forgotten about the family gathering already?" Grandpa Yu asked
" My apologies grandpa, she must be held up due to some issues" Louis said
" Why did she have to fly all the way there to see someone when she knows we are having something today" Aunt Camila said
" Come on grandpa and aunt, you know Tabitha, always like to come in a grand style" Lewis said
" The last time she caused a scene, is that what is called grand to you?" Aunt asked
" Reena, have you heard from your daughter?" Jemima asked
" We both know Tabitha isn't the type to call me" Reena said
" Do you know about her whereabouts Tam?" Baltimore asked
" She hasn't come to collect her dress for today, I don't think she would come" Tamora said
" Why are you all worrying, it's Tab we are talking about here. If she was going to come, she would have said it" Teri said
" He's right" Laila said
Then the door opened and everyone stared at the door, and it was Vivian Fei. The most ranked out of Louis girlfriends that got thrashed last time
" I'm sorry I'm late" she said with smiling
" She pretty" people whispered in the crowd
" Mr Yu do have eyes, he should have picked her over that witch" some others said
" Why is she here?" Grandpa Yu asked annoyed
" I invited her" Aunt Camila said
" But why?" Laila asked
" If Tabitha doesn't shows up then Vivian will take her space in the picture" Aunt Camila said
" The picture is going to be on the news" jemima said
" Exactly, and the space of Louis wife must not be empty" Aunt Camila said
" Camila has a point, let's hurry up and take pictures and end the party. Grandpa needs to rest" Carl said
" I'm fine, don't worry about me. Our reputation is at stake here cause of that girl" Grandpa said
" We apologize on her behalf" Baltimore said
" Look who I found?" Raphael said from behind and everyone turned to see Tabitha with him.
She was dressed in a simple but eye catching dress, turns out it's one of Tamora dresses that she abandoned since she doesn't know how to continue the dress but it looked so fashionable on Tabitha. She was in light makeup, her hair was dropped down, a single diamond leg chain with sliver heels, diamond necklace and earring, diamond hair pin as well and that a white plain expensive purse to match her dress.
With how simple she dressed, she caught the attention on many people, all the cameras were on her. Her standing posture showing all confidence, her simple but elegant poses for the camera as well we're so perfect. The Tabitha everyone knew would have dressed in a latest outfit that was shining too bright and heavy makeup though she also looked nice but this simplicity killed it. She also dressed summer up, for the first time summer dressed for the party and wasn't in her corporate wear.
" Mrs Yu, please can you tell us how much your dress cost?" One of the reporters asked
" It's a gift for my sister, Tamora Lon. Her latest design, sure cost millions. You should try out her outfits, it's really nice" she said
" And your diamond jewelry?" Another one asked and she smiled
" The expense doesn't matter, the purpose does. And it's Tabitha Lon Yu by that way, or just call me Tabitha" she said with a slight chuckle before walking up to her family
Everyone was in shock, Tabitha would have given a price tag and receipt of her cloth to the reporters, she doesn't even promote her sister brand. She always says 'as far as she paid for it, it's business not family'
" Tabitha" Reena said approaching still shocked with her look
" Mum, you look so stunning" Tabitha said hugging her which even shocked everyone the more and reporters started taking picture of them. Every step Tabitha took was captured by the reporters.
" I'm so sorry I'm late, I had to pick up grandpa's favourite" Tabitha said to the family as she brought out a golden brioche and she pinned it to Grandpa Yu suit.
" Now, that's perfect" she said with a smile
Then she turned and saw Louis looking at her like he was trying to read her, trying to see what she was playing at.
" OMG, he's so handsome in real life" Tabitha whispered to summer and they both chuckled which made it even more weird to everyone.
" You must have been waiting for me darling" she said walking up to Louis
" You're late" he says coldly
" I know, and I don't have an excuse for that. Please forgive me, I'm so sorry" she said clinging on to his arm
" Okay, what's going on here?" Laila whispered to the rest
" I don't know as well, I just met her outside talking to summer. I heard her call summer by name and summer also called her by name." Raphael said
" Tabitha said sorry twice, she even brought Grandpa a gift. I think today is my lucky day"
" She even mentioned my brand to the reporters"
" All right, enough of your acting. You're here now, let's take the picture so you can get out of here as you always wished"
" Aunt Camila, why are you so angered today?. I already apologize for being late" she said
" Tab" Jason said approaching with Daniel. They formed the in-laws association so the three way pretty close to each other.
" Hey brother in law" Tab said hugging them and everyone was shocked
" Look, there's no time to waste. Can we just take this pictures" Aunt Camila said
" Hey, you must be Diana" Tabitha said approaching the young girl she saw but the girl immediately hid behind her mum
" What's wrong?" Tabitha asked
" You're a bad woman" David said hiding as well
" Okay, well this bad woman bought you some chocolates" she said but they didn't bougre
" and video game" she said and showing him and David went to meet her immediately
" Seriously, buying the kids love" Vivian said loud enough for her to hear
" It's called showering love with gifts, I know you might not know how it feels since you never experienced it" Tabitha said approaching Vivian and everyone went silent
This was the same way the last fight started and it was about to repeat itself
" Vivian" she said hugging her an everyone was even more amazed even Vivian froze on the spot
" It was a bad joke, forgive my sense of humor" she said to Vivian
" So shall we take this picture my lovely family" she said
" This is weird, it giving me the creeps. She even apologized to Vivian" Raphael said
" Hey summer, can you explain what's going on here?" Tamora asked
" Nothing" summer said smiling
" You guys just haven't seen this side of her, enjoy it while it last" Teri said
They took the pictures and Tabitha was being so clingy towards Louis, that Vivian could just throw a glass at her at any point.
" What is she playing at?, being all nice. I won't allow her to take all the glory today. I'll bring it the monster in her" Vivian said approaching Tabitha with red wine in her glass, who was happily chatting with other people
Louis stood at a distance and watched Tabitha closely as he sipped from his cup.
" What's wrong?" Orlando asked meeting him where he stood
" Something doesn't feel right" Louis said
" Is it Tabitha?"
" Yeah"
" You should have known her by now, she's putting on an act"
" No"
" No?"
" From the way summer is behaving, you would know if she's putting on an act or not. Summer somehow feels so relaxed" Louis said referring to summer who was drinking and chatting happily
" Hey" Andre said approaching
" What's up?" Orlando asked
" I spoke to summer and it feels like she's fine" Andre said
" Is that all?" Louis asked
" Feels like she's hiding something" Andre said
" Something is wrong somewhere" Louis said
" I still feel like she's putting in an act" Orlando said
Louis noticed Vivian going towards Tabitha with the wine and he knew her intentions immediately. At first he wanted to stop her but on a second thought he also wanted to see Tabitha's reaction.
" Let's see how long she can put on an act then?" Louis said and they look at him confused until Vivian spilled the drink on her dress and drop the cup to gather everyone's attention.
" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" Vivian said feigning innocence
" This party would always get ruined somehow or the other" Aunt Camila said
" And it's your fault, you brought that classless girl here. She's always destroying our gatherings" Grandpa Yu said
" It's fine, you added colour to my white. It looks quite better now, don't it?" Tabitha said which shocked everyone
" Yes it does" Vivian said faking a smile and Tabitha turned around to leave
" Summer please help me clean this up" Vivian said and Tabitha paused in her tracks and faced Vivian
" Excuse me" Tabitha asked
" Huh?"
" Did I hear you right?"
" I said summer should clean up this mess"
" Summer isn't your slave, you can't talk to her anyhow"
" I'm sorry, I have forgotten she only takes orders from you"
" That's not what I'm talking about, summer isn't a slave nor a cleaner"
" But she does this all the time, you always ask her to clean up for you. What changed?" Vivian asked and everyone was actually waiting for a reply even summer herself was waiting for her to say something but when she noticed Tabitha was in a tight spot she stepped in.
" No worries, I would do it" summer said
" No, you won't" Tabitha said with an intimidating voice
" You!, clean it up" grandpa Yu said to one of the cleaners
" No, he won't" she said
And the great Tabitha had done it again, she did what no one else have ever done. Talk to Grandpa Yu harshly with a commanding tone, even Lewis who talks back at grandpa Yu being his favorite grand child talks back at him playfully.
" You know my dad always tell me that whenever you make a mess you should clean it up quietly" Tabitha said
" I never said that, it's the first time in hearing this" Baltimore thought
" So you'll clean up since you're the one who wasn't watching where you were going and bumped into me. Oh, and just so you know, that cup cost more than your salary as a runway model but I'm generous enough to let it slide." Tabitha said
" And the summer you're talking to with disrespect earns times two of what you earn in just a week" Tabitha said and Vivian just stood there disgraced
" Guess, the party is coming to an end. I'll take my leave now grandpa" Tabitha said pecking him on both cheeks
She walked towards the door and when she got to where Louis was she tripped herself so she could fall. Louis didn't even make a move to catch her but she dragged him my his collar leaving him no choice to hold her in place or they would both fall.
" Thank you for the jet Louis" she whispered in his ear before getting up
Vivian was burning in rage as she cleaned up her own mess hoping for Louis to help her out. Tabitha knew Louis wouldn't allow her to clean so she used her tripping as a distraction to make sure she actually does clean.
" What are you playing at?" Louis whispered back in her ear as they took their normal standing position
" I would tell you if you give me a ride home, my ride broke down that's why I was late." she said softly with a slight smile
Louis gritted his teeth in anger and he scoffed as he had no other option. Tabitha was so disappointed, what really happened between the two couples that he can't even look at her face without disgust.
" They are others cars available" he said
" You aren't ready then, it's qui pro quo" she said about to leave and he grabbed her hand back.
" Fine, let's go" he said dragging her out.
Everything was witnessed by people and Vivian was praying the ground should just swallow her at that moment, not only was she insulted by Tabitha but it was looking like Louis was all over Tabitha.
