Five hours. This battle took FIVE hours. The four of them, exhausted from using all of their abilities on this THING. It took everything the party had in their arsenal, and it still wasn't dead. What makes it worse is that it was moving towards the surface. They couldn't afford to stop for a moment to rest.
Gil: Damn it! What the hell are we supposed to do here?! The thing's practically invincible!
Enki: I'm at a crossroads too. We must keep fighting, Gil. If we stall for one second, the city is doomed!
Ishtar took a moment to catch her breath before speaking up. Her sister, Eresh, trailed behind her, looking worn out but still ready to fight.
Ishtar: If only we had something that could keep it stunned! Maybe we'd have a fighting chance!
Eresh: That is so. But how are we supposed to stun it? We do not have the Sword of Adad to bring upon a flood to slow it down!
A bright light begins shining from Gil's scabbard. With it, hope is renewed.
