Dominion: Asgard.

The ethereal glow of the Bifrost carved through the star-streaked cosmos, casting divine hues across space as it delivered its passengers.

"Is this Asgard?" someone whispered as their feet touched down.

The first sight to greet them was Heimdall, guardian of the Bifrost. He stood tall in his shimmering gold armor, a long, gleaming sword planted upright before him. Behind him, at the far end of the bridge, stretched the legendary golden city of Asgard. It shimmered like a mirage—but to many, its scale was unexpectedly... modest.

Tony Stark squinted at the sight. "Seriously? This is it?" he muttered. "The Realm of the Gods has just one city? And it's not even that big."

Joseph said nothing.

But Thor, arms crossed and prideful, let out a huff. "Within that city dwell all the gods of Asgard."

"Oh come now, dear brother," Loki drawled with a wry grin. "Is that how a prince from afar ought to welcome guests?"

He turned to the rest of the group. "We Asgardians live very long lives. That sort of longevity doesn't pair well with a high birthrate. Including our troops spread throughout the Nine Realms, our numbers hover around fifty thousand. Hardly a crowd."

"Loki!" Thor snarled.

He glared daggers at his brother. During Loki's imprisonment, he had often felt pangs of guilt and longing. But now, faced with his sibling's careless remarks, he felt nothing but the urge to throttle him.

This fool was revealing classified Asgardian details—publicly!

"Is that a problem?" Loki said, unfazed. "It's not like it's a secret. Besides..." He looked over at Joseph. "Did you know, the average Asgardian has triple the body density of a human? That means your average citizen here can lift 20, maybe 30 tons."

He grinned. "Impressive, no? But ultimately... we're few in number."

He leaned in slightly. "Tell me, Joseph—can your Mutants conquer this place?"

"If so... perhaps we should talk."

Thor's face turned a shade of green with fury. "That's enough!!" he roared, grabbing Loki by the collar and hoisting him off the ground. "No more talking!"

Joseph ignored the brothers' scuffle. With his vast mental awareness, he scanned the expressions of those behind him.

Gwen Stacy's mouth hung open. "You're telling me... there are tens of thousands of Spider-Men here?!"

Black Widow's voice was quiet. "Even the average person here might be stronger than our enhanced super-soldiers..."

Tony's eyes narrowed. "So this... is the strength of Asgard."

The X-Men, however, stood composed. Even the younger members—Nightcrawler, Blink, and the like—showed no signs of distress. They had seen worse in the trials of the parallel world. They were forged through suffering.

Only Wonder Woman allowed herself a smirk. Her battle-hardened eyes shimmered with something more dangerous—excitement.

"Looks like they're not too happy to see us," she murmured.

Joseph stepped forward at last. "It seems our arrival wasn't anticipated with open arms."

Thor and Loki both turned to Heimdall.

The guardian's golden eyes were cold. "Mortals, this realm is not yours to tread upon."

He hadn't moved a single step.

"I opened the Bifrost because Prince Thor commanded it," he continued. "But do not mistake that for permission to enter Asgard. You should leave... now."

His words carried the will of Odin.

Thor's expression shifted. "Heimdall..."

"You should have returned Loki the moment your business was done," Heimdall cut in. "Now the God King prepares to proclaim his sentence in public. You're too late."

He never finished.

"I believe you misunderstand something," Joseph said calmly.

He gestured to Loki. "This man is not for you to punish. Not yet. At this moment, he is a prisoner of war... held by Earth."

The X-Men behind him visibly tensed. Their auras sharpened like blades.

Heimdall gripped his sword tighter.

Thor cursed inwardly. He had feared this. "Heimdall! These are my guests! Asgard does not mistreat guests!"

But Heimdall didn't so much as glance at him. "Loki's actions do not reflect Asgard. He acted alone. You cannot leverage him here."

Joseph smiled. "Is that your official position? That his crimes mean nothing to you?"

His tone darkened.

"Are you sure you won't inform your king? That you'd rather turn us away here and now?"

Off to the side, Wonder Woman's gaze flickered with realization. Joseph wasn't bluffing. He was genuinely enjoying this.

Was he... happy?

"Careful," Heimdall warned, his hands glowing as he began to draw his sword. "You tread the edge of war."

"Heimdall!!" Thor yelled.

The gatekeeper's reaction stunned him. That he would raise his blade so quickly—was this truly Odin's will?

Did his father even plan to greet them?

Even when Diana—herself a goddess—was among them?

Before Natasha Romanoff could speak, Thor turned to her. "Wait here. I'll go to my father personally—"

"No need," Joseph interrupted gently.

He turned to Loki, his eyes narrowing. "So, you really are worthless as royalty."

Then he raised his right hand.

"Then let me, in the name of Earth, execute you... war criminal."

A pulse of dark energy crackled at his fingertips.

"NO!"

Loki's cry was raw, filled with terror.

Even Thor looked stunned.

Of everyone in Asgard, Loki knew best what Joseph was capable of. Their earlier battle had shattered his pride and left psychological scars. He had no doubt—Joseph could kill him here and now.

Just as that dark pulse was about to release—

"Enough."

A voice like thunder split the heavens.

A radiant figure descended to the Bifrost. Clad in divine armor, silver hair flowing behind him, a single eye shining with divine authority. In one hand, the legendary spear Gungnir.

Odin. King of Asgard.

As he landed, airships roared in from every direction. From them, battalions of elite warriors poured out. Within moments, ten formations had flanked their king.

"State your purpose, mortal," Odin commanded.

He radiated pride. His disdain was evident. He made no effort to mask it.

Even in ancient tales, Odin had declared mortals unworthy to stand in his halls. Today, nothing had changed.

The sheer force of his presence surged like a storm. Even Tony, Wonder Woman, and the X-Men braced under the divine pressure.

But Joseph?

He just smiled.

"Incomplete statistics show that the Chitauri invasion, orchestrated by your son Loki, led to over 400,000 deaths on Earth," Joseph stated clearly. "Millions injured. Infrastructure destroyed. The economic damage—immeasurable."

He took a step forward.

"So tell me, God King Odin..."

"What price will you pay to redeem this Earth war criminal—Prince of Asgard?"

The air went still.

Gasps rang out from the warriors behind Odin. Even Loki's mouth hung open in shock.

He already had PTSD just being near Joseph—but this? This was madness.

What in the Nine Realms was Joseph thinking?

What was his endgame?
