The shattered world was being reforged.
But due to the shockwaves from that collapse, Uchiha Kirin's spirit was damaged, and he lost consciousness.
His body sank into the deepest part of the star's core.
Relying on his heavily modified and enhanced Breathing Art, he drew strength from within, constantly recovering himself. He used the immense gravity of the core to repeatedly compress his body and spirit, forging them into something denser and more resilient.
However, the newly born world also required energy—far more than what Kirin needed to restore himself.
Thus, every time the Breathing Art activated, the surging energy would circulate once through Kirin's body, then follow his Sharingan into the small world within him.
Fortunately, the core of that small world—formed by the black vortex of Heaven-Reversing Devour and the rainbow vortex of the Five Elements Cycle Divine Art—was still spinning.
It absorbed and consolidated the dust from the broken remnants of the small world, reforming a complete planet.
At the same time, it furiously absorbed energy from the outside world.
This energy was even more powerful than the unconscious state of the Breathing Art—it represented the potential of an entirely new world!
Under this constant siphoning, even the sun that had always illuminated the Shinobi World began to dim.
The invisible Dragon Veins that connected the star to the life-bearing planets—and the surrounding celestial bodies—were also drawn into the newborn world with each breath.
The scattered star core, the power of the Tenseigan, and the vast influx of stellar and natural energy from the outer world were all pulled into the twin vortices of the small world.
After being digested and transformed, this energy became part of the new world. Around the edges of the vortex, it condensed again—this time forming vine-like tendons and bones.
These were the leylines of the new world—its very skeleton.
And that skeleton was the defining trait of a world with the potential to grow and evolve.
No one knew that deep inside the sun illuminating the Shinobi World, within a body clinging to the last threads of life, the embryo of a vast new world was quietly taking shape.
Even with the assistance of Dragon Veins and stellar energy… even with the support of two supreme Divine Arts and the Breathing Art, the process would inevitably be long and arduous.
Luckily, no one was paying attention to Uchiha Kirin's condition.
...
At this time, the remaining five Great Sages of the Shinobi World were each focused on digesting their own gains from the battle.
The White Snake Sage curled up inside Ryūchi Cave, fully focused on absorbing and mastering the Rule Power stripped from Kaguya.
The Toad Sage had returned empty-handed to Mount Myōboku, sulking as he had to once again cultivate his body—just barely reassembled by the Sage of Six Paths after his resurrection.
He constantly peered into his misty crystal ball, hoping to glimpse how Uchiha Kirin had died.
But that was a search doomed to yield no answers.
In the Pure Land, the Sage of Six Paths absorbed a significant reserve of souls and spiritual faith to repair the damage from his battle with Kirin.
Across from him sat two massive seeds—one golden, one violet—placed into the cycle of Samsara, absorbing the worship of all beings. As if Yin and Yang, they slowly fused into one.
This thousand-year-long plan had ultimately ended in vain.
All it earned was a chance to rebuild his physical body.
The power belonging to his mother Kaguya, the one he had given up his mortal body to seek, was lost to him—not a single thread obtained.
Worse still, the prize had been stolen halfway through by some unknown divine being that had awakened within the Uchiha bloodline.
He had done all the work… only for someone else to reap the rewards.
Only the Slug Sage, currently working to repair the damaged Dragon Veins, sensed that something was off.
She was the first to notice that, ever since Kaguya's defeat, the Shinobi World was missing a certain force—something subtle, yet crucial.
...
Far away in the starry sky, on a massive life planet surrounded by countless stars—a planet so colossal it rivaled the sun itself—a message had arrived from a long-lost world.
It was received by a group of aliens with twin horns, dressed in white, their pupils pure white—members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan.
A clan member responsible for gathering cosmic intelligence suddenly shouted:
"We found it! We found it!"
What they had discovered was an ancient battlefield, nearly a million years old, where a catastrophic war had once annihilated their clan's elite forces.
It was also a planet where the Divine Tree had once been planted—and where the Supreme Fruit was destined to appear.
That fruit had once belonged to the current Ōtsutsuki Clan Patriarch—one of the ultimate beings in the cosmos, known as the one closest to the Ōtsutsuki God!
Thousands of years ago, the clan members sent to harvest the fruit—Ōtsutsuki Kaguya and Ōtsutsuki Isshiki—had mysteriously vanished.
Since then, the Shinobi World's coordinates had been completely lost.
But with the collapse of the space, the world energy that shrouded the Shinobi World disintegrated—and its coordinates resurfaced once more!
This thrilled the Ōtsutsuki Clan beyond measure.
If they could retrieve the fruit, they would reclaim their seat among the universe's strongest species—returning to their once-unrivaled supremacy, an unbroken dominance across the stars.
A group of clan members was immediately dispatched to the depths of the cosmos, tasked with awakening the Patriarch—who was currently meditating within a supermassive black hole, seeking to comprehend the universe and transcend existence itself.
That man was known as the one closest to the Ōtsutsuki God—Ōtsutsuki Shinsiki.
The journey was long.
Even with the clan's advanced technology and powers, it would still take considerable time to reach the edge of the black hole.
So, under the elders' orders, a three-man squad was deployed ahead of time to enter the Shinobi World.
Their mission: assist with the retrieval of the fruit and investigate the fate of Kaguya and Isshiki.
...
The trio included the youngest—and most gifted—clan prodigy of the new generation: Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki.
He had previously fought and defeated many natives of other star systems, successfully planting Divine Trees and returning with several fruits.
Accompanying him was the veteran warrior Ōtsutsuki Kinshiki, who had participated in countless planetary conquests and had personally destroyed multiple life-bearing worlds. He would serve as Momoshiki's guardian on this mission.
The third member was the intelligence and assassination specialist Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, wielder of the clan's treasured artifact, "Karasuki."
He had used Karasuki to eliminate countless enemy prodigies before they could grow into threats, and had played a key role in expanding the clan's territory—locating new planets and researching new power systems.
This mission was virtually guaranteed to succeed.
Its true purpose was to bring glory and honor to the future of Momoshiki and Urashiki.
If they could retrieve the Divine Tree fruit, or at least bring back Kaguya or Isshiki—or even just await the arrival of Ōtsutsuki Shinsiki—then their path to becoming True Gods, even Celestial Gods, would be set in stone.
The journey was long, even for the Ōtsutsuki, who could traverse space freely.
So the trio decided to use one of the clan's advanced technologies to warp space and directly teleport near the Shinobi World.
Yet all of this, except for the vague suspicions of the Slug Sage… remained completely unknown to the rest of the world.
