Chapter 2 - This Rotten World

After coming back the World and the reality is still Scum and rotten

The day Taro woke up again, he wasn't Taro anymore.

He had no name.

No identity.

No love.

Just the quite of a newborn child whose voice would never be heard.

As his eyelids fluttered open, he couldn't make sense of the room. Everything was larger, blurred—until the noise came crashing down like a hammer on soft flesh.

Dad:

> "—That damn horse didn't win again, Miyo! That's ten grand we lost!"

A voice—harsh, guttural, cracked by stress and smoke.

(New Dad)

> "Ten grand?! I told you not to bet on Karasawa again! That stupid jockey's been throwing races!"

Another voice—woman, sharp as broken glass. And then—

(New Mom)

> "...sell something! What do we even have left?!"

Dad: (frustration)

> "Tch. Nothing but this damn baby…"

And silence.

An eerie pause.

Then laughter.

Dry. Hollow. Sinister.

Dad: (grinning)

> "Well… He ain't ours anyway cause were going to sell him to the Shinori family."

---

By nightfall, the deal was made.

He was wrapped in a dirty towel and passed off like a bag of trash to a sleek black car that pulled up outside their rundown apartment in the slums of Daitou.

He never cried just observed.

Not because he was afraid.

But because even in a baby's body, his soul remembered betrayal he experienced this scum, rotten, a piece of shit world called earth.

That was the moment Taro died fully.

And Shin was born but has the memory of Taro's betrayed life.

---

The Shinori Estate stood like a monument to everything Shin despised he knows that his life is gonna be hell.

Cold, towering gates. Stone lions. Windows so clean you could see the lies reflected in them.He was given a name—Shinori Shin.

Not chosen. Not inherited. Just assigned.

To the Shinori family, he was a pet bought for prestige. A "charity project" for appearances. A trophy child. But behind the walls, away from flashing cameras and politicians, he was nothing.

---

Kira Shinori, the daughter of the household, was a goddess in the public's eye.

Elegant. Smart. Beautiful.

To the world, she was the "golden daughter."

To Shin, she was a devil a girl with Psychopath tendancy for hurting me and making my life a living hell for no reason.

She beat me. Every day. Like i was her new toy.

With words.

Of why do you exist in the first place can you die please. So please i want you to lived your shit life Shin.

With hands.

He was in bruses and some cut and a painful injured hand.

With silence.

... Just waiting the hell continue.

Kira: (smiling)

> "Don't touch that, slave your just a shit dog and my toy to play."

Kira:(Now serious)

> "Why do you even exist? Is it like you lived and happy by my actions?"

Kira: (grinning)

> "Mother says you're the result of a whore and a junkies and I want you to suffer Shin."

The maids ignored it.

The head butler smirked.

Even the family dog was treated with more dignity than Shin.

---

Shin didn't cry he just deal with it.

Not because he was strong—but because he knew it wouldn't matter because there's nothing can Shin do in this life.

No one cared. Not here. Not anywhere.

He learned early how the world worked:

His a powerless Man get reborn just to face another shit life he now facing.

If you had it, you could do anything—betray, destroy, hurt, and still be praised. If you didn't, you became the trash people stepped over.

So Shin kept his head down and shut up.

He cleaned her shoes.

He served their guests.

He stood in the back of family photos like a shadow.

A perfect background character.

But in his mind—

He was watching.Every insult. Every fake smile. Every empty promise. He remembered it all how was being get hit and the pain.

---

By the time he reached high school, Shin had built a wall so high around his heart that nothing could climb it.

His classmates barely knew he existed.

He was always there—quiet, composed, invisible.

His grades? Perfect.

His appearance? Clean.

His presence? Forgettable.

He never spoke unless called. He never stood out.

But he noticed everything.

The girl who faked her kindness for social media. The teacher who flirted with female students for favors. The student council president who smiled in public and beat up weaker kids in back alleys.

Rot.

Scum.

Everywhere.

This world was no different from the one that betrayed him before cause it was the same world of shit scum.

---

Shin had a habit of looking out the classroom window. Not out of longing—but because it helped him think. It was there that he wrote words in his mind like scars:

> "The world is rotten."

> "People lie when they smile.

> "Justice is a tool of the rich."

> "Love is a game for fools."

> "Trust no one. Expect nothing. Become empty."

Each mantra carved into his soul like a prayer for survival.

---

One day, Kira returned home drunk she stumbled into his room at midnight, reeking of perfume and cruelty.

Kira: (drunk)

> "You're still awake, huh?" she slurred, heels clicking looking at the moon like a sad little orphan."

Shin said nothing just take the insults.

Kira: (drunk)

> "You think you're better than us, don't you? Quiet freak you know what I think? I think you'll end up just like your real parents."

> "Dead in the gutter. Alone. Worthless."

She laughed.

He didn't flinch.

Not because it didn't hurt.

But because it didn't surprise him anymore.

---

The next morning, Shin made breakfast like nothing had happened.

Kira didn't show up.

No one asked where she was.

And Shin?

He sat at the table, writing a new rule in he's dairy he plans to suicide in his room, staring into nothing.

His eyes empty. His soul numb.

(Coldly)

> "No one will ever save me but maybe… I can save myself."

---

The world would never offer him justice.

So he would carve his own path through its rotting heart.

Not as a hero.

Not as a villain.

But as someone who had a broken soul no longer believed in humans. Now just a butler just he's living Shin's life of Scum then Taro or Shin finally realised just shut up and deal with it.
