A month had passed since Bai Shuying gained consciousness.

Living in a run-down wooden structure, she covered herself with rags, not even showing a faint hint of skin.
Bai Shuying knew that demons and humans hated each other and were in constant conflict. A person like her, who is half-fox and half-human, is hated by both sides.

Luckily, I was left in this small village near the woods.
Bai Shuying kept to herself on the outskirts of this village. Whenever she needed something from the village, she would wrap herself up, only showing her eyes. The villagers were not bad people, just simple people living their lives, but she knew that they treated her nicely because they mistook her for a poor orphan.
Bai Shuying was able to learn from the villagers who were willing to teach her things like what kind of herbs are in the forest and their uses, where and how to hunt, and where a good source of water was. As a modern kid, roughing it out in the wilderness, Bai Shuying had no clue.

Bai Shuying already saw the abandoned trait's handy work. The alcoholic trait is manageable. If she doesn't consume alcohol, she starts to feel mild withdrawal symptoms. Luckily, she was able to find grapes in the forest that contain alcohol. The lustful trait was the worst. One day she felt extremely horny and could only relieve herself, just thinking about it made her face turn red as a tomato.
Damn, I'll take that to the grave with me!
As for the only women trait that was fine, I didn't have any intentions to start a relationship with a man.
The real issue is the fragrance trait.
Bai Shuying found out her body released a pleasing scent. In the forest the animals were attracted to her she was once chased by a boar. Now she covered herself with scented herbs to mask the scent.
It does come in handy when I hunt rabbits, so that's a plus!
She dared not find out how people react to the scent. As for her positive traits, excellent potential, she had no clue how to test that, but great comprehension came in handy when learning from the villagers.

While the flexible trait didn't see much action. Stamina was helpful when hunting. Regeneration is somewhat slow, but it's better than nothing helped a lot when she was rammed in the side by that boar.

Surprisingly sixth sense was quiet helpful. It could act like a danger sense like that insect acrobatic hero and its able to sense opportunities.
With it, I was able to find those grapes.
Bai Shuying grabbed a cloth bundle filled with rabbit hide and herbs she collected from the forest. She heads to the village to sell them. She and the village have a business-like relationship instead of her freeloading on their kindness. The herbs she gathers and the animal parts she has are abundant. She found someone to buy them in the village, in exchange, she receives clothes, a blanket, and other necessary things needed for living.
She finds herself at the entrance of the village gate, a fence of wood, and inside wooden houses, with portions of the backyard used to grow plants and raise cattle. Bai Shuying made her way through a path she uses daily, the path led to Old Man Chen's home.
"Old Man Chen, I brought today's haul!"
"Oh, Shuying, let me see what you brought!"
Old Man Chen opens the bundles and scans the goods inside.
"Tch, Shuying, you really know how to pick herbs."
Old Man Chen was always impressed by how the little girl picked the herbs in such good conditions.
"Look at this rabbit skin, almost like a seasoned hunter skinned it!"
It's all thanks to the great comprehension trait!
"What can I exchange for them?"
Old Man Chen took out a box from his house and opened it in front of Bai Shuying.
"Take what you need."
Bai Shuying looked inside and took the things she needed for daily use bandages, healing ointment, and some seeds.
Bai Shuying would prefer money, but out in the sticks, the only way to get stuff is to barter. The village was mostly self sufficient, no merchants or officials come here.
"I'll just take these things, I'll come back with a bigger haul."
"Wait a moment, Shuying, I heard cultivators were fighting in the forest. Be careful."
"I will, thanks for telling me, old man Chen!"
Bai Shuying hurried back to her home.
Cultivators? Hope I don't run into those lunatics!
Due to the warning she received, Bai Shuying didn't leave her wooden house. As night fell, she heard some noises, her fox ears perked up. She heard the breaking of a tree and then a large slam on the ground.

Bai Shuying tucked her fox ears back, poked her head out the window, looking into the forest.
Oh man! Curiosity killed the cat!
She knew it wasn't a good idea to go there, but she wanted to know what happened.
Bai Shuying hid a small knife in her clothes and slowly made her way into the forest. As she went deeper and deeper, her sixth sense didn't activate, so she let her guard down.
Soon she saw a figure on the ground as she came closer she got a good look at the figure.
A beautiful woman with a pale face, she had long black hair, her proportions were crazy, a big chest and plump rear with thick thighs.
Bai Shuying gulped at the sight.
Stop it! I'm not a pervert!
The woman groaned in pain. Bai Shuying sighed and noticed she was covered in blood and wounds. She tried to pick the woman up, but with her child-like strength, it was an impossible task.
"I'm sorry."
She apologized to the woman, put her arm under the woman's armpits, and dragged her to her home.
Bai Shuying laid the woman on the floor of her wooden house and looked at the woman's clothes.
Scandalous! How can a woman dress like this?!
The woman wore loose martial robes, showing the upper part of her chest, exposing her shoulders, and showing her white jade-like skin. It had a slit on the side exposing a portion of her thighs and only stopped just above the knees exposing her calves. She was also barefoot, showing her delicate feet with a bell tied to one of her ankles.
Bai Shuying grabbed a wooden bucket with water she stored, a clean cloth, bandages, and healing ointment.
She started to strip the clothes off the woman.
It's ok! I may be a man on the inside, but I'm a girl on the outside, only the outside matters!
Justifying her actions, she begins to clean the woman's wound, applying ointment and bandaging her up. After finishing she covered her with her only blanket so she does not catch a cold.
Bai Shuying took another look at the woman's face and was relieved she didn't show a painful expression anymore.
