Allen smiled as he walked over to his usual backpack and placed the camera inside.

As the door closed, Harley Quinn paused slightly upon hearing this, then turned around and asked softly.

"Are you leaving?"

"Gotham, ruled by Bane, is just too boring. There are no lunatic villains stirring up trouble. No Batman playing cat and mouse…"

"Such a peaceful life is a complete waste of good time."

He paused, then muttered to himself.

"What should the next stop be? Metropolis? I'm an alien but I love Earth—the Superman who speaks for the planet hasn't shown up yet, right?"

"Central City? Not sure if it's supposed to be funny or tragic. Has The Flash been nerfed yet? Or maybe Star City? To find the Green Man... right, Green Arrow. If I run into the trash dump squad of second and third-tier heroes and villains, time-hopping around with them wouldn't be so bad."

Allen was fully immersed in his own thoughts.

Harley Quinn didn't understand everything he said, but she could tell Allen was bored—bored with Gotham.

"Will you take me with you?" she asked suddenly.

Allen looked up.

"Why? You belong in Gotham,"

"I can be your pillow. Don't you need me to fall asleep at night?" she said earnestly.

"Did I hug you when I was sleeping? Sorry about that" he muttered to himself.

"I don't really need someone to hug actually, it must have just felt natural to me to hug you… I didn't have anyone before and slept just fine." Allen turned his head and started looking through his stuff for anything else worth taking.

"Sigh"

Harley Quinn's face was filled with disappointment.

As one who had been technically kidnapped, she should have felt happy about Allen leaving, happy that she'd be free again.

She should've been glad that Bane would be dealt with, that Gotham could return to order.

But now, all she felt was a sense of being lost—just like when her father suddenly walked out on her and her mother, back when everything seemed so warm and perfect at home.

What was all that psychology study for? Harley Quinn had long forgotten.

Somewhere along the way, she had come to find a sense of closeness in Allen.

A sense of safety and comfort.

'Though I did guess that… this guy gets bored so easily, I knew he would leave sooner or later'

She thought to herself.

"Will you come back?" she asked, voice carrying a faint sense of hope.

"Maybe. If Gotham becomes exciting again, I might return to have some fun," Allen replied casually, slinging his backpack over his shoulder.

"I'm heading out."

"Where?" she at least wanted to know this.

"Who knows." Allen opened the door and stepped outside.

'This insensitive guy…' she shook her head and watched him leave.

As for Allen…

He hadn't yet decided on his next destination, but that didn't mean he couldn't go get himself a new ride on the way.

'Like the Batmobile, maybe?'

It could drive by itself, looked cool, and had various gadgets. Perfect for making an impression.

Don't know where it was?

Not a problem. He didn't know, but someone else did.

He planned to go straight to the City Hall and find Bane.

He could even trade something for the Batmobile from Batgirl.

You say Allen promised to get rid of Bane for her? There was no conflict there.

He'll bring her along to meet Bane directly. It would Save him time and effort. If she's there, he can dispose of Bane right on the spot.

Would Batgirl be scared?

Would Bane get pissed?

Would the daughter of the League of Shadows' head—who wanted to nuke Gotham—feel defeated?

'Well… What's that got to do with me?'

After leaving, Allen headed in the direction of Gotham City Hall.

And as fate would have it, just as he stepped out onto the street, he caught a glimpse of a woman slipping into an alley with incredible agility.

'Well, hello there,'

She wasn't just anyone.

Her alias was Miranda Tate, a new philanthropist in Gotham, a member of Wayne Enterprises' board, and someone Bruce Wayne deeply trusted.

And if we're talking about deep trust? Well, let's just say in code, it means she and Bruce got close—very close.

But her identity was fake.

Her real name was Talia al Ghul, daughter of Ra's al Ghul, and the true mastermind behind the whole mess the city was in.

You'd think Batman was a genius, but even he got played like a fiddle.

In the original story, she first stole his heart.

Then his company.

She even got him to hand over his shares and nearly bankrupt himself.

She didn't just stab him in the back—she took a victory lap.

And the cherry on top? She gave birth to his son, Damian Wayne—aka the fifth Robin.

Cold, calculating, ambitious, and oh-so-damn smart.

Allen couldn't help but respect her hustle.

But admiration meant nothing without action, so Allen chased after her into the alley.

It was a dead end.

Empty.

On the left side of the alley was a back door to some store—slightly ajar, just a sliver of space showing.

Smirking, Allen pushed the door open and stepped inside.

Snap!

The door shut behind him—and something shadowy moved.

Pitch black.

Silent.

Suddenly, a sharp gust of wind came slicing toward Allen's throat.

'Something sharp, a knife? A dagger?'

[Mimic] activated.

Allen instantly gained mastery over various elite combat techniques—Unarmed Combat, Dagger Fighting, Swordplay, Archery—and even [Keen Perception], the kind only honed through years of training.

Hearing the movement, Allen slightly tilted his head.

A cold breeze sliced past his cheek.

[Tenfold]

He grabbed backhandedly—caught a dagger—and threw it at the dark corner on the left.

The motion was clean and effortless, as if his body was made for it.

His eyes glinted in the dark.

Thunk!

The dagger embedded itself into the wall.

'I… missed? That can't be,'

Allen found a light switch nearby and flipped it on.

Click.

It was an old, abandoned warehouse.

To his left, a woman leaned against the wall, shocked.

She was wearing a blue dress.

The left sleeve had fallen off her shoulder, revealing her injury.

There was a shallow cut there—fresh blood staining her dress.

The dagger had grazed her shoulder!

"Yes! Didn't miss, well didn't miss completely, a win is a win,"

The sudden brightness made her squint, and she tilted her head slightly.

Then she asked in surprise.

"Aren't you Allen Robinson? Didn't... didn't Batgirl go to you for help? Why are you here?"
