Chapter 211 - Ch 211 : Tense and ready to erupt

When the two women saw Lili come out, the one in the floral dress curled her lip and let out a scornful snort.

Then, in a loud, mocking voice, she said to the woman beside her, "Just look at this whole house—what kind of people has Boss Suo kept around? Either shameless vixens or trashy women who abandoned their husbands and kids… haha, what a collection."

Lili didn't understand what was going on at first.

Hearing their harsh words, she was just like me earlier—she didn't immediately grasp their meaning.

After a brief pause, it seemed to click, her expression changed, and she asked coldly, "Who are you calling a vixen? And who are you calling trash?"

The short-haired woman glanced at her. "Who? You know it yourself. If you don't, go ask around our area—who doesn't know about your group?"

At that point, I understood—these two women were just jealous.

Jealous that we could live peacefully here under Suo Tian's protection, jealous of how harmonious our household was.

It was human nature—when people are jealous, they'll tear things down to nothing.

Some, like these two, would dig up gossip, twist it, and spread lies everywhere, or like now, hurl nasty insults at others.

Lili stared at the woman for a moment, then suddenly smiled instead of getting angry.

"We really don't know. Why don't you explain it properly? Or better yet, come inside and talk—we've got a whole house full of 'thick-skinned' people who'd love to hear it."

Clearly, she had caught that earlier remark.

The woman glanced toward the house, curled her lip, and muttered, "Crazy," before turning to leave.

But Lili, who had just been smiling, suddenly stepped forward and grabbed the hem of the floral dress. "Don't go. You haven't finished talking—how can you leave now?"

"What's wrong with you?" the woman snapped, clearly annoyed at having her clothes pulled.

"Let go! Why are you grabbing people's clothes? Have you no manners?" the short-haired woman said—an almost laughable statement.

I let out a small laugh and quietly told Uncle Gazi to take the kids inside and call out Han Xue and Xu Shu.

Then I stepped forward toward the two women.

The floral-dress woman was struggling with Lili, while the short-haired woman tried to pry Lili's hand off.

I walked up behind them, tapped the short-haired woman on the back, and called out, "Hey."

"What?" she snapped impatiently as she turned around.

Smack!

I slapped her hard across the face, my expression cold as I cursed, "That's for your filthy mouth!"

Then I swung my hand again and slapped her on the other side.

She froze for two seconds before reacting.

Letting out a shriek, she lunged at me while shouting, "You little slut! You dare hit me?! I'll kill you!"

I quickly stepped back to dodge—if it turned into a full-on brawl, I'd definitely be at a disadvantage against her bulk.

At the same time, seeing me make a move, Lili immediately slapped the floral-dress woman across the face as well.

The crisp sound was oddly satisfying.

But the floral-dress woman, now prepared, reacted quickly.

As soon as Lili struck, she slapped back just as hard, sending Lili stumbling back a couple of steps.

I broke away from the short-haired woman, turned to steady Lili, and then kicked the floral-dress woman hard in the stomach as she lunged forward!

But the moment my kick landed, the short-haired woman grabbed my hair from behind with full force.

The pain was instant—I lost my balance, and it felt like my scalp was about to be torn off as she twisted my hair.

"Ah!" I cried out as she yanked hard, convinced my scalp might rip off any second.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Han Xue's angry shout came from nearby, followed by rushing footsteps.

The grip on my hair loosened almost immediately.

When I straightened up, rubbing my head, I saw that the fat woman had already been knocked to the ground by Xu Shu with a single kick.

She rolled around like a pig, wailing in pain.

After Han Xue helped Lili knock the floral-dress woman to the ground, she turned and exchanged a glance with me and Xu Shu.

The four of us nodded at each other, then rushed forward together, kicking and beating the two women who were rolling on the ground.

During the scuffle, Lili shouted angrily, "What happens in our house is none of your damn business! If you like it, then watch—if you don't, gouge your own eyes out! If I hear you running your mouths again, I'll rip your tongues out! Since when did it become your turn—two pig-like creatures—to climb over us and act all high and mighty?!"

It wasn't until Shen Feng and the others ran out from inside to stop us that the two women, who had been screaming nonstop, finally got the chance to scramble up from the ground.

They had completely lost their earlier arrogance—bruises covered their faces, making them look ridiculous.

They shot us a vicious glare, then grabbed their kids and left.

Only after they had gone quite a distance did the floral-dress woman turn back and scream hoarsely, "You sluts! Just you wait!"

That set Han Xue off again—she cursed and was about to chase after them, but Jun Di grabbed her arm. "That's enough. You don't need to beat them to death."

Nearby, Yiyi—who had been yelping and hiding in the bushes earlier—seemed emboldened now that we had the upper hand.

It barked a couple of times and made a show of charging after the fleeing women.

But halfway there, when the floral-dress woman shouted again, it got scared, veered off, and dove back into the bushes, not daring to come out for quite a while…

I was speechless.

What a useless dog!

Back inside, Uncle Gazi had already explained the general situation to the others.

After hearing what those women had said, Han Xue—hot-tempered as ever—paced around the living room, muttering that she should have kicked them a few more times.

Even while washing dishes after breakfast, we were still talking about it in the kitchen.

Lili kept praising that slap of mine, saying we didn't want trouble, but if someone insulted us to our faces, we absolutely couldn't just take it.

We had expected those women wouldn't let things go, so for the rest of the day, we didn't let Xiao Hu or Tingyun go outside.

Yiyi was even more cowardly—after coming back, it slunk off to the doorway and lay there like it was contemplating life, barely moving all day.

But until evening, when Bruno came over for dinner, those women never showed up again.

Only then did we finally relax a little.

Not long after Bruno arrived, Suo Tian returned as well.

During dinner, Lili told Bruno about what had happened.

When she mentioned Tingyun scraping her face, Suo Tian glanced at her, his brows tightening slightly, but he didn't say anything and continued eating.

Then, around six in the evening, the trouble that had been absent all day finally came knocking.

Those two fat women returned—this time with a group of flamboyantly dressed women and two middle-aged men in Team B uniforms—storming aggressively into the villa.

When they came in, Suo Tian was sitting in the living room with Uncle Gazi and Bruno, drinking tea.

The rest of us were in the backyard with the kids.

Hearing the commotion, we ran inside and found the room packed with people, all chattering loudly and noisily.

"It's them—those little bitches! Bullying our kids behind people's backs, and when we came to ask about it, they ganged up and beat us! Isn't that going too far?!" the floral-dress woman shouted.

Her voice was hoarse from yelling earlier, mixed with phlegm in her throat, making it sound especially disgusting.

As soon as she finished speaking, the group of women behind her started shouting and cursing again.

One of the Team B officers frowned in irritation and barked, "Shut up! What are you yelling for?!"

The shorter officer turned to the short-haired woman and snapped, "What do they have to do with this? Making a scene—send them back!"

The short-haired woman looked displeased but still waved apologetically at her companions.

The group, who had just been shouting enthusiastically, could only leave awkwardly.

Once they were gone, Han Xue—holding Tingyun—let out a cold laugh. "I thought small arguments between women didn't need men to step in."

The two officers glanced at her but didn't respond, seemingly unwilling to argue with her.

Instead, they scanned the room and finally fixed their gaze on Suo Tian, who had been watching everything quietly.

"Captain Suo," the shorter officer spoke, "our B and C teams have always stayed out of each other's business. But today, right at your own doorstep—you hit my kid and my wife. Don't you think that's going a bit too far?"

Suo Tian glanced at him and slowly stood up from the sofa.

"This is my place. Who gave you permission to come in?"

At his words, the two men's expressions shifted. "So, Boss Suo, you're planning to take sides?"

Suo Tian walked up to the four of them and stood there in silence for a long moment.

As the two officers' faces grew increasingly unpleasant, he finally pressed his lips together and said coldly, "I don't have time to care who got beaten. Get out."

"So you're refusing a toast only to drink a forfeit?" the taller officer snapped, his tone turning threatening.

"We gave you face for Boss Gao's sake, respected you as someone of status. But since you're talking like this today, then if something happens to the people in this house when they're out and about… don't expect it to have anything to do with us."

The moment those words came out, Suo Tian's expression darkened.

His lips tightened as he said in a low voice, "You dare."

With the taller man taking the lead, the shorter officer's confidence rose as well. "Let's see whether we dare or not."

As soon as he finished speaking, Suo Tian's wrist flicked—and a steel knife suddenly appeared in his hand.

Before anyone could react, he stepped forward and pressed it against the shorter officer's temple.

"I don't have much patience, Don't go looking for death." he said coldly.

The taller officer reacted quickly.

The moment Suo Tian moved, he yanked the two women aside and drew his gun, aiming it at Suo Tian. "Captain Suo, you'd better steady your hand."

At that moment, Yangyang suddenly pulled a gun from his waist.

In two quick steps, he moved forward and aimed it at the taller man's head.

"You'd better steady yours too," he said.
