"This can't be happening. You can't be doing this to me", Jiang Tian said, surpirsed as the punishment he initiated got back at him.
"The choice is yours sweetie.", Sheng Wang said.
After thinking for a while Jiang Tian gave up, "Ugh fine. I'll be your slave. Just promise me you'll help me."
"Don't worry. I'll do what I said.", Sheng Wang promised.
The universe must be playing some joke on Sheng Wang. The fact that he has to help his 8 year long crush have a date with his crush. But who can he blame, he is the one who chose this for himself, just to see Jiang Tian regularly.
"So, when are you going to help me?", Jiang Tian said, pulling out Sheng Wang from his thought.
"Keep patience. First you have to do my work then I'll help you.", Sheng Wang replied making Jiang Tian nod.
"Okay. Tell me what do you need. I can't wait to have a date with my crush.", Jiang Tian said as he closed his eyes imagining a date.
Sheng Wang couldn't even protest. He waited for Jiang Tian to come out of his imagination so he could speak.
"After my work here, you have to go somewhere with me."
"Where?", Jiang Tian asked.
"You'll see.", Sheng Wang said, keeping Jiang Tian in suspense again.
Jiang Tian didn't say anything more. He waited for Sheng Wang to finish his work while he sat on a nearby chair.
After a while Sheng Wang felt Jiang Tian's gaze on him.
"Why are you looking at me? Am I that pretty?", Sheng Wang asked, catching Jiang Tian off guarded.
"N-no it's not that. I...was just curious about your work.", Jiang Tian defended himself.
"Right, why would you ever look at me", Sheng Wang thought.
"You can try. Come here.", Sheng Wang offered and Jiang Tian agreed.
He got up from his seat and moved towards Sheng Wang's work station and sat there. Sheng Wang studies forensic medicine so he was currently working with a microscope to test some samples given by the professor for his year end project.
Sheng Wang lets Jiang Tian use the microscope, observing his tactics.
After struggling for a while Jiang Tian looked back at Sheng Wang and asked, "How does this thing even work?" , frustration clear on his face.
Sheng Wang let out a soft chuckle as he realizes Jiang Tian doesn't really know how to use the tool.
"Here, let me show you.", Sheng Wang said as he moves his head towards the microscope while holding Jiang Tian's shoulders.
"You have to look through the lenses and adjust the focus as per need.", Sheng Wang explained while he was looking through the microscope with his right eye on one of the lens while Jiang Tian used his left eye on the other lens.
Sheng Wang didn't even notice he was so close to Jiang Tian until he rotated his face towards him right after explaining.
Their faces were too close. Sheng Wang's eyes unwillingly miving towards Jiang Tian's mouth.
He could hear his heartbeat and he was sure if he stayed in that position for long, Jiang Tian could hear it too. Sheng Wang quickly composed himself and moved away from that spot.
"Umm. Let's go. I'll do this tomorrow.", Sheng Wang said.
"Yeah. Okay. Let's...let's go.", Jiang Tian said, almost stumbling.
Sheng Wang wondered as he walked down the stairs, "I wish he was this excited for me", when he watched Jiang Tian run down the stairs with excited steps.
They both got up on Sheng Wang's car and drove away, Jiang Tian still not knowing the destination.
As they arrive at the location, Jiang Tian realizes it is a shopping mall.
"We are....shopping?", Jiang Tian asked.
"Yes. I need to buy some clothes for me. And then we will buy clothes for you. You need to look presentable first, to score a date", Sheng Wang explained the plan.
