There wasn't any deep meaning behind choosing Dragon. It was simply because he himself was a dragon, so it was an instinctive choice.
The next moment, a petite dragon girl with twin pigtails appeared before him.
She wore a pink maid outfit, her hair a gradient from white to pink, and her dragon horns were like polished white jade.

Even though that anime was a slice-of-life series, there was no denying it: Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid's combat power was beyond your wildest imagination! This was a young dragon capable of destroying the entire world!
He smiled, about to tell her there was no need for such formalities, but the little girl didn't wait for his reply. She launched herself forward with a flying tackle, burying herself in his embrace.
"I finally get to meet you, Master..."
Kanna snuggled into Elliot's chest, gently rubbing her head against him, a silly, happy smile on her little face. It was incredibly cute.
Elliot gently stroked her dragon horns. Unlike his own, Kanna's horns were very white, short, and delicate likely a characteristic of young dragons, and also different from Earth Dragons.
She made a comfortable purring sound, like a kitten, seeming to really enjoy Elliot's touch.
As for Elliot, he was currently quite surprised himself. He never expected the system's "Magical Puppet" to actually summon Kanna the Maid.

In the anime, the male protagonist being able to ride Mirei made Elliot a tiny bit envious. After all, if he also had a dragon mount, how cool would that be!
Unfortunately, Mirei Shinohara was taken away by humans. And adult Earth Dragons, like Araba, would never condescend to be a human's mount; they only obeyed Administrator Güliedistodiez.
But this time, his gacha luck bloodline had awakened, and he directly got a dragon maid! Kanna's base stats completely dwarfed that Earth Drake girl's.

Finally, after waiting for half a day, the person arrived.
Sophia, under Kanna's care, had almost fallen asleep. But for some reason, a sudden palpitation, a sense of unease, welled up within her. It was the feeling of a powerful magical beast approaching.
As the Vampire True Ancestor, she had a very accurate sense for strong monsters. It had been the same with the Queen Taratect; when that creature appeared, Sophia could barely sleep all night.
And what terrified her now was that this newly appearing monster... seemed several times stronger than even the Queen Taratect!
At this point, Sophia started thrashing in her cradle, trying to tell Elliot this information. A powerful monster is coming!
