Lillian stared at the apartment complex in front of her. It was a stark contrast to the dilapidated neighborhood she stayed at previously. The strong security system, luxurious buildings, and the clean, elegant surroundings even had her wear a look of shock.
"Is this where we are staying?" Lillian asked.
Grace nodded and casually responded, "I bought an apartment here the other day. It is close to your university and apparently quite safe. Let's have a look inside. We can change it if you don't like it here."
Her mother pulled her in and brought her over to the elevator, pressing it. Once both of them entered, Lillian questioned, "It must have been expensive, right?"
Grace smiled. "Your mother has a bit of wealth lying around. You don't need to worry about that."
This only filled Lillian with more confusion and questions.
