Smiling I first grabbed the three books and sat back on the floor next to the skeleton of the dead god and started reading through them.
Maybe due to a combination of skills or my body and mind just being that much superior to my human one but I was able to comprehend and understand everything that I read through the manuals and notes.
I perceived each and every intent in the brush strokes that were drawn into the books furthering my understanding.
I don't know how long I was drawn into the feeling of learning and understanding but as I closed the last book which was the Alchemist Gods Notes I grinned.
I knew what to do to grow stronger.
And so grabbing the blood refining pills I immediately ate them all in one gulp and immediately felt my body start burning up as a torrent of energy started going haywire inside my body.
This energy was Qi of course and due to me not having the needed veins and even a dantian to store said Qi in I couldn't utilise it at all.
But I had a plan.
Grabbing the flower spirit I immediately used my [Structural Analysis] skill on it to the fullest instead of just sifting through the surface information.
I gained the plants genetical makeup, structural makeup and energy type which was Qi and then I delved deeper into the plant and found the spirit inside it.
At this moment it was nothing more then a baby spirit softly floating inside the plant not yet reaching full maturity and immediately my skill latched on it it as [Primal Energy] went through the spirit and looked through its makeup just as it did with its physical shell.
But I more so focused on something that it had and what every being in its original world all had, Primordial Veins and Dantian Cores.
I first let my skill do it's thing and gained full understanding on the inner workings of Primordial Veins and the Dantian Core and after a second I was finished.
" G-Good!" I stiffled out feeling the energy inside me get even more chaotic.
Smiling at that I opened up my mouth again and threw the Spirit Flower inside and began chewing hastily before gulping it down and like dam a torrent of Nature Essence and the stored Qi was added to my body and I was able to gain control of the Nature Essence easily enough as all gods had instinctiv control over it.
Dismissing the added Qi I simply focused on the spirit inside my stomach and immediately assaulted it with my Primal Energy before using it began detaching the spirits primordial veins from it and then it's dantian Core effectively killing the spirit as I then started absorbing the spirit into myself which took a couple seconds which allowed me to focus back on what I was doing.
Watching the Primordial Veins floating inside my body along with the Dantian Core I had the Dantian go to place just below my stomach and had it stay there and then had to grab the veins and painstakingly align them into position inside my body, of course I did modify some places to make Qi absorption faster and then connected the veins to the Dantian.
Now all that was waiting was to connect the veins to my body and I would officially become a cultivator but I wasn't done, no I wanted more.
And so opening my eyes I could feel that the Qi wasn't as chaotic as it found an outlet which were the veins inside me as they began entering the veins and into the Dantian but since I hadn't connected to them yet I couldn't do anything about it.
Grabbing a handful of cores and into my mouth before crushing them with my teeth and swallowing before doing the very same thing to the rest of the cores of Rank 0 only leaving the Rank 1 cores alone.
Now a special trait about gods is that their stomachs were like a different space all together where everything that they ate would get refined at an accelerated pace and and the said energy in anything they ate would belong to them so long as they could control it and make use of it.
And using my stomachs special properties I watched as the cores started melting inside my stomach before I used another skill of mine.
[Material Manipulation] which allowed me to control the smelted cores inside my stomach and draw them towards my still unattached Dantian Core.
And immediately I had the cores begin fusing and tempering the Dantian Core inside me.
I watched as the core turned from milky white to deathly black which was then followed by my veins which started sprouting tiny root like veins attaching themselves forcefully into my body.
' That.... wasn't in the notes.' I thought with a frown as I watched my black Dantian and Veins attach themselves to my body along with their tiny root appendages which took up the majority of my body.
I could have counter attacked by ejecting the veins out of me but I let it happen more so because I was curious as what the fuck was gonna happen.
And so after a minute the veins firmly attached themselves to my body and finally I could feel them and even utilise them, they felt more robust, stronger then the ones that flower spirit had which was surprising and then feeling that the Qi in my body had a place to go I started using a Qi absorption technique without attribute that would simply absorb the Qi into my body without having me breakthrough realms I started absorbing the Qi into my dantian.
And so I just sat there, in that cave underwater as I started trying to understand what Qi truly was as I absorbed it inside my body.
My Dantian Cores space was huge even by my estimates as I did temper and strengthen it using other cores.
And so I sat there for hours as I absorbed every bit of Qi in my body and the remnants of it in the air around me that escaped my body.
And after a while I felt my Dantian was full allowing me to finally open my eyes.
Grinning at that I immediately opened my status screen wanting to see if anything changed.

Looking over my new additions to my stats I grinned.
But looking over at my new stat already being ranked second according to god rankings I smiled but was a bit fearful.
If I Ascended ranks to fast then I would get ejected out of this world and I didn't want that just yet, I mean look at the treasures that I could find in the mortal worlds?.
Shaking my head I stood and started stretching.
This was just the start of course.
I had the Qi but now I needed to use it to refine my body.
