Logan stared at his arm in disbelief and confusion, unsure what exactly happened.
"Why did both manas surge through it?" he muttered. "And why didn't my arm disintegrate like last time?"
Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to calm down and went through the regeneration process step by step.
Compared to last time, there was only one key difference.
"I used undead mana to make the bones," he thought, eyes widening. "Could that be why?"
It made sense... kind of.
But as soon as that thought settled, another question popped up in his mind.
"Then… what did I just create?"
He raised his arm again, feeling the strange mix of cold and hot temperatures inside of it.
It felt… different, but not in a bad way.
He narrowed his eyes.
"Did the phoenix and undead mana actually accept each other?"
That shouldn't have been possible. The elements always fought for dominance, the only exception being within his core.
