"Cancel it. Then ask Miss Li to come to my office.I need to talk to her."Zhehan said cooly.He then stood up and left.Meillin finally lost her cool.The plastered smile left her face as she walked back to her office.She called Ruolan and took her personally to his office.She wanted to listen in on their conversation.
"You may leave."Zhehan told her cool.But there was no way she was giving up.She stood at the door.
Ruolan was puzzled why she was here.She thought maybe she was in trouble for people insinuating that she was in a relationship with him.She decided to explain that....
"Ummm sir....if its about the rumor about our relationship, I have tried to explain it but maybe if you explain it as well everyone will stop speculating.....Maybe..."
"Stop pretending already.You and I know the truth about this matter.Don't we?Zhehan said cutting her off.He stood up from his desk and moved closer to her.He moved till they were at an inappropriate distance.She felt as if her heart would leave her chest.She tried to calm herself to no avail.The distance between their lips was enough to fit a sheet of paper.She felt herself drowning in his blue eyes.
She shook her head. Pretending?When was she pretending?Something was not right.
"I don't quite follow sir."She said moving away from him.She suddenly felt a shiver run down her spine and the temperature of the room dropped.His eyes turned cold.
"OK,I get that you are mad at me but stop pretending not to know me.To tell you the truth I know you inside out.From your head to your toe.I know all of you.And now that you are back you are not going to hide from me ever."He said in a voice that reminded her of the man in her nightmares.She felt uneasy and glanced at the door as if she wanted to run.
"Don't worry,since you don't remember,I intend to jog your memory.That way you will return back to me,Miss Tang Lixue.Oops my bad,Li Ruolan is it?"
He said with a smirk.Ruolan's face became pale.How did he know her real name.
Nobody was supposed to know.She suddenly turned and almost hit the door on her way out.She did not even see Meillin who was surprised by the conversation of the two.So they had history.'Tang Lixue'She registered that name in her mind and went back to her office.She just could not accept defeat that easily.When she saw Like Ruolan'face she thought that maybe Zhehan had broken her faced.
She took her phone and said."Long time,I need help....but of course I will pay you handsomely.So are you in or not.Okay find me information about Tang Lixue.Every single detail.Then look for Li Ruolan as well.They should be the same person."She hang up her eyes filled with resolve.'Zhehan was hers.her alone!'
