Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Whispers of the Forgotten

In the vast silence of the void—somewhere beyond space, beyond time—a lone white soul floated. It murmured softly, its voice soaked in regret and anger.

|"I sacrificed everything—money, family, |||friends—for that girl… Aiiry Hinsuki. Even |after death, the guilt still burns. I saw my parents' tears… and I couldn't even cry. Aiiry, I'll remember this… and I want you to feel this pain twice as deep as I did."|

The voice echoed endlessly in the emptiness. But the soul wasn't alone.

Not far from it, another soul drifted slowly, trembling with emotion. It reached out, calling through the void:

|"Akaido…!"

Tears shimmered in its eyes—eyes that no longer existed in a physical world—held together only by memory and longing. The pain of separation was unbearable, as if something precious was slipping away forever.

High above them—outside the comprehension of mortals or even spirits—a being watched. An omnigod. Its form was beyond shape, its presence beyond logic. It listened silently to the murmuring souls… and then, it smiled.

And with a gesture that bent the rules of reality, it stirred something.

Far across the multiverse, on a vibrant green planet under twin suns, a young boy looked up at his mother with curious eyes.

"Mom… what are past memories? Can you explain them to me?"

The woman gently smiled and placed her hand on his head.

"In this multiverse, everyone is born carrying echoes from another life—fragments of past memories or wars they once lived through. As they grow stronger, those memories start to unlock… like a hidden power that awakens within them."

The boy's eyes widened. "So… what about your past memories, Mom?"

She paused, placing a finger to her lips, thinking deeply.

"Oh… I remember now. My first name was Julia Fanda. I was the eldest daughter of a noble family. The priest at the Academy told me I lived and died peacefully in that life."

The boy turned to his father, who was polishing an old blade hung above the mantle.

"Dad… what about you?"

The man turned slowly, his eyes darkened with the shadows of history.

"Listen carefully, son. In my past life, I was known as Daido Hans. I remember holding a giant flaming sword… the battlefield roared around me, and I fell fighting in a place called Kanda."

The mother looked at him, curiosity in her gaze.

"And what about your deeper past, Daido?"

He closed his eyes. A whisper escaped his lips.

"Akai… My real soul name was Akido Akino. I remember her… a girl named Shiro Hanara. And with her… came pain."

A breeze passed through the room, though no windows were open. Somewhere far away, in a space between worlds, the omnigod watched… and the game of memories began.
