To avoid arousing Princess Nadya's suspicions, Cecilia waited a day before she and the others went to Laila's place again.
"Welcome! You may go straight up to the second floor, honored guest."
The restaurant was still bustling as usual when they arrived. However, someone immediately noticed their arrival and directed them to the VIP room. Cecilia entered with Cedric, Robert, Fiona, and Sir Alvis. Laila was already seated in the VIP room when she arrived. She smiled gently and bowed to greet them.
"Welcome, Your Highness," she said to Cecilia. Laila also nodded to the others. However, when her gaze caught sight of Cedric, she simply smiled without saying anything.
Sir Alvis frowned at the rudeness. However, he remained silent, as it wasn't the right time to start a fuss.
Cecilia also noticed Laila's dislike of Cedric, but then remembered what had caused it. Cecilia took a deep breath. Once everything was over, she promised to resolve the feud between them.
