"A magical construct?"
Tony Stark frowned slightly, feeling a faint twinge of existential discomfort. He was a scientist, not a wizard. Magic wasn't exactly listed under his job description.
That discomfort, however, vanished almost instantly.
He snapped right back into his trademark confidence. "Doesn't matter. Magic or not, it's still fine. As long as I'm willing to put in the work, there's nothing in this world I can't figure out."
As he spoke, a glimmer of excitement lit up Tony's eyes.
Who knew—this might even become his gateway into mastering magic itself.
Left hand magic, right hand technology. At that point, who on Earth could even stand next to him?
Sorcerer Stark.Yeah… that actually sounded pretty good.
"Stark, it's not just that," Captain America said gravely. "This Hextech Gate also requires something called a Hextech Crystal. That's the key component—and it's not a substance known on Earth."
The Hextech Gate's capabilities were absurdly powerful. Developing it was never going to be easy.
Even with the system providing full blueprints.
"It's fine," Tony replied calmly, confidence unshaken. "I'll solve it."
He even looked excited.
For him, problems like this—real challenges—had been rare for a long time.
[Answer session concluded. Beginning answer analysis playback.]
The system's prompt cut off the discussion, and the corresponding analysis footage began playing on the large screen.
The first scene picked up directly from the previous video about Captain America's fate.
An elderly, white-haired Steve Rogers was seen talking with Sam Wilson, discussing what happened after Steve returned the Infinity Stones.
Steve told Sam that after returning the Stones, he followed Tony Stark's advice and tried living a different life.
And that it had been… wonderful.
The previous footage ended there.
This new segment continued seamlessly.
"That's good," Sam Wilson said sincerely. "I'm truly happy for you. But there's one thing I'm not thrilled about—having to live in a world without Captain America."
"That actually reminds me," Steve suddenly said.
He bent down, picked up a bag by his feet, and placed it in front of Sam.
Then he opened it.
The iconic shield—symbol of Captain America—was revealed.
"Try it," Steve said seriously.
The smile on Sam's face slowly faded, replaced by solemn focus.
He knew exactly what "trying it" meant.
This wasn't casual.
This meant inheriting Captain America's legacy.
After a moment of silence, Sam made his decision.
He slowly lifted the shield and strapped it onto his arm.
"How does it feel?" Steve asked.
"Like it belongs to someone else," Sam replied meaningfully.
"It doesn't anymore," Steve said firmly.
"Thank you," Sam said with conviction. "I'll do my absolute best."
The two men clasped hands tightly.
The shield had been passed on.
The first Captain America, Steve Rogers, officially retired.
Everyone thought the footage would end there.
But the screen continued.
Now they saw a grand hall in Washington, D.C.
Sam Wilson, dressed in a suit, stood on a stage addressing a crowd—clearly a press conference.
"Steve represented the best in all of us—courage, integrity, hope… and that stoic expression was something else."
"The world has changed forever. A few months ago, billions of people suddenly returned after being gone for five years. The world fell into chaos."
"We need new heroes—heroes fit for this era."
"Symbols only matter because of the people who give them meaning."
He raised the shield.
"This thing… there's no greater symbol than this. But what matters most is the one who carries it."
"He's gone."
"So today, we honor Steve's legacy—but we also look forward."
"Thank you, Captain America. But this belongs to you."
After finishing his speech, Sam handed the shield to a nearby staff member.
The staff member received it reverently and placed it inside a prepared display case.
The footage ended.
The first clip showed Captain America's own choice of successor.
The second showed the acceptance of that successor by the government and the public.
Clearly, Sam Wilson becoming the second Captain America had widespread approval.
Holding a press conference in Washington—shield handover or not—said everything.
Why Sam ultimately chose to surrender the shield instead of continuing as Captain America… that remained unclear.
"Gone?"
"Legacy?"
Scott Lang spoke first, visibly shocked. "Doesn't that mean… Captain America was already dead at that point?"
Steve looked ancient when he passed on the shield, so people had expected it—but this felt fast.
Sam mentioned that the vanished population returned just a few months earlier.
That meant Hulk's snap was only months ago.
Soon after, Thanos arrived via time travel, triggering the final battle.
All of this happened in an incredibly short span.
Which meant—
Steve Rogers died only a few months after passing on the shield.
That was… sudden.
"Seems so," Thor nodded. "But growing old alongside the woman he loved and passing peacefully—that's a perfect ending. Something to celebrate."
"This was inevitable," Tony Stark said calmly. "What I'm more interested in is that the Captain may have misjudged something."
"Sam Wilson handed the shield back after Steve died."
That was… awkward.
Wasn't it "I'll do my best"?
And then—shield returned the moment Steve was gone?
Not exactly confidence-inspiring.
"I believe Sam had his reasons," Steve said seriously, defending his friend. "Becoming the second Captain America is a complex matter. Judging without full context would be unfair."
[New Question: After King T'Chaka of Wakanda died unexpectedly, Prince T'Challa succeeded the throne. During the royal challenge ceremony, which of the following challenged T'Challa for the crown?]
[A. Erik Killmonger (N'Jadaka)][B. M'Baku, leader of the Jabari Tribe][C. W'Kabi, leader of the Border Tribe][D. Nakia, River Tribe warrior]
[Hint: Correct answer rewards Wing Chun拳法; incorrect answer will randomly deduct one personal attribute, including but not limited to knowledge, experience, skills, or possessions…]
The group paused their discussion and turned their attention to the screen.
This question concerned T'Challa's ascension.
"Royal challenge?" T'Challa smiled slightly and sighed. "This question came at a very convenient time."
"Convenient?" Thor blinked, then caught on. "You mean—you're about to become king?"
"No," T'Challa shook his head. "More precisely, I already am king."
"The council has announced it throughout Wakanda. But procedurally, I still need to accept challenges from the tribes during the royal challenge ceremony."
"That ceremony is in three days."
After the previous quiz, T'Challa confronted his father. T'Chaka confessed his crimes to the council.
The outcome was inevitable.
With such a stain on his record, T'Chaka was swiftly removed.
T'Challa—sole heir and the one who exposed the truth—was unanimously chosen as king.
Only one final step remained: standing undefeated in the challenge ceremony.
"This question proves someone will challenge you," Tony Stark said. "Whoever it is—he's doomed. T'Challa could take him out with one finger."
With reversed reality and energy beams backing him up, this was a mismatch of cosmic proportions.
"Exactly," Scott Lang agreed. "Killmonger overthrowing T'Challa won't happen again. Wakanda's 'Golden Jaguar rebellion' is off the table."
"Let's focus on the options," Steve reminded them.
"Killmonger—is it him?" Thor asked. "Didn't a previous question show him becoming king? Wouldn't that mean he won a challenge?"
"That's possible," Scott nodded. "T'Challa was supposed to inherit the throne, but Killmonger defeated him—nearly killed him—and became king."
Many found this convincing.
Killmonger did defeat T'Challa and was recognized as king by the tribes.
That had to have happened during a challenge ceremony.
"No. It won't be Killmonger," T'Challa said after some thought.
Before anyone could ask, he explained.
"In Wakanda, only the reigning king inherits the title of Black Panther and earns the right to wear the Panther suit."
"When I confronted Killmonger while stopping the weapons shipment, I was already wearing the Panther suit."
"That means I had already become king before Killmonger defeated me."
Realization dawned.
"Ah!" Peter Parker exclaimed.
Tony added, "There's more. During the Wakandan civil conflict, Okoye explicitly chose to protect the king—meaning T'Challa—not Killmonger."
"If Killmonger were king, she would've said 'protect the prince.'"
That sealed it.
Option A was eliminated.
"What about M'Baku?" Thor asked. "Didn't you say the Jabari isolate themselves?"
"They have every right to challenge," T'Challa replied. "And like the Border Tribe, they held grievances against my father."
The group collectively winced.
T'Chaka's approval rating was… impressive in all the wrong ways.
"So B stays on the table," Steve summarized.
"And W'Kabi?" Thor pressed. "The Border Tribe opposed your father—and later supported Killmonger."
"That makes him even more suspicious."
"True," T'Challa admitted. "But I believe the Border Tribe challenging me is less likely than the Jabari."
"Why?" Peter asked.
"Because W'Kabi's wife is Okoye—the general of the Dora Milaje."
He continued, "While anyone of royal blood may challenge the king, such challenges are rare. Hereditary succession is the norm."
"The royal guard has deep ties to my family. Okoye would never want someone to contest my claim."
This aligned perfectly with what they'd seen.
Okoye had betrayed Killmonger—the legal king—to support T'Challa.
Her loyalty was absolute.
W'Kabi wouldn't openly oppose that.
So Option C couldn't be ruled out entirely—but its probability was lower.
Between the two remaining choices, M'Baku stood out just a bit more.
The final decision would require weighing everything carefully.
