Chapter 300 - The Dominating Thunder God — With His Flesh, Bearing the Energy of an Entire Star!

After enthusiastically introducing what a Poké Ball actually was, Peter Parker opened the Poké Ball in his hand with undisguised anticipation.

Whoosh!

A dazzling burst of seven-colored light exploded out from the Poké Ball, so brilliant that it forced everyone to squint.

"This is the Poké Ball's activation effect. You can also think of it as my Pokémon's entrance animation. Pretty cool, right?"

Peter Parker couldn't help showing off a little as he explained it to everyone around him.

The crowd was left speechless.

They had thought the flashy light served some incredible purpose. Turns out it was just an entrance effect. That's it.

As expected—kid stuff.

Whoosh!

As the multicolored light faded, a slick, agile figure flipped through the air and landed lightly in front of everyone.

Everyone looked closely and saw that the figure was wearing a red-and-blue spider-themed suit, covered head to toe in web patterns, with a black spider emblem on its chest.

Standing there hands on hips, feet planted wide, it looked imposing and heroic.

The only problem—

That heroic figure had the head of a pig.

Yes. A pig.

Of course, not an ordinary pig. Judging from that acrobatic flip alone, many people present would have struggled to pull it off.

Its physical technique was clearly top-tier.

"Peter… this is the 'monster' you were talking about?" Scott Lang clicked his tongue, utterly speechless. "This is full-on cute art style!"

It had absolutely nothing to do with the word monster.

"And what's with the spider-themed suit?" Tony Stark added, unable to resist mocking. "Did the system do this on purpose to match Peter Parker?"

"No, Mr. Stark, that's not it… everyone, allow me to formally introduce him."

Peter Parker digested the information flooding his mind, then excitedly announced,

"This is my Pokémon—Spider-Ham! Peter Porker!"

"Spider-Man? Spider-Pig? Peter Parker? Peter Porker?" Thor muttered. "Anyone who didn't know better would think this Pokémon is your twin brother."

You couldn't blame Thor. The names, nicknames, and overall vibe were way too similar.

Aside from one being human and the other being a pig, they were practically identical.

"No, Mr. Thor, he's not my twin. Actually, our relationship is even more specialേഴ than that."

Peter Parker explained seriously.

"Didn't you say my future self becomes a superhero called Spider-Man? Peter Porker is Spider-Man from another parallel universe!"

"So he's not your twin… he's your alternate self?" Thor burst out laughing again.

"What I'm curious about," Scott Lang said with growing excitement, "is that if Spider-Man in another universe is a pig… then what about everyone else? Iron Man? Captain America? Even Thor—would they not be human either?"

"I can't imagine the others," Tony Stark chimed in, clearly intrigued. "But Ant-Man might actually be an ant. As for me? I'd probably be a robot—the real Iron Man."

[Quiz completed. Beginning answer analysis playback!]

The system's voice rang out once more.

As it did, an image sequence appeared before everyone.

The first thing shown was a bleak, lifeless planet—like a massive ruin drifting through space.

The entire planet was dim and silent, filled with decay and desolation.

Within a dark passageway, several figures could be seen walking forward.

"Let's hope these dwarves are better at forging than cleaning," Rocket Raccoon's voice rang out.

Soon, the figures became clear—Thor, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot.

"So this really is Nidavellir…"

On-screen Thor looked grim, full of confusion and unease.

"Nidavellir wasn't like this. What happened here?"

"Tree guy! Mr. Stark, everyone—that gamer you talked about is this tree, right?"

Peter Parker stared at Groot in fascination, turning to the others.

He had never seen such a lifeform before.

Novel. Strange. Very interesting.

On-screen—

"This forge hasn't gone out in centuries," Thor said, looking at the massive but extinguished furnace.

He immediately sensed something was wrong.

"You said Thanos has a gauntlet, right?" Rocket suddenly asked.

"Yes. Why?" Thor replied.

"Like that one?" Rocket pointed ahead.

Thor looked up and saw a gauntlet mold resting on a rack.

It was identical to the Infinity Gauntlet.

"So Thanos's Infinity Gauntlet really was forged in Nidavellir," Captain America said.

This matched their earlier discussions—only Nidavellir possessed such technology.

Now it was confirmed.

And judging by Nidavellir's current state, it was likely destroyed after Odin's death.

Otherwise, Thanos would never have dared act so brazenly.

"Back to the pod!" Thor shouted.

But just then, a three-to-four-meter-tall giant suddenly appeared and sent Thor flying with just a few blows.

"Eitri! Stop!" Thor shouted.

"Thor?" The giant recognized him and halted.

"Eitri?" Scott Lang exclaimed. "So that giant is Eitri? Isn't he supposed to be a dwarf?"

"That's right," Thor said with a smug grin. "That's a dwarf."

"That's a dwarf?!" Scott was dumbfounded. "That's two of me stacked together!"

Everyone watching felt the same disbelief.

Calling this a dwarf? Seriously?

"Thor… do you have some kind of misunderstanding about dwarves?"

On-screen—

"What happened here?" Thor asked.

"You were supposed to protect us! Asgard was supposed to protect us!"

Eitri roared in rage.

"Asgard is destroyed," Thor explained, then asked urgently, "Eitri, what did you do with the gauntlet?"

"There were three hundred dwarves here," Eitri said bitterly. "I thought if I obeyed him, they'd be spared."

Thanos hadn't spared them.

"I made what he wanted—a device capable of channeling the stones' power. And then he killed everyone… except me."

"'Your life is yours,' he said. 'But your hands are mine.'"

Eitri explained everything in grief and fury.

"Your hands aren't the point," Thor said firmly. "Every weapon you've ever designed is still in your mind."

"I know you think all hope is lost. Trust me—I know. But together, we can kill Thanos."

Encouraged, Eitri regained his resolve and revealed the mold for Stormbreaker.

"This is your plan?" Rocket scoffed. "Smash things with a brick?"

"That's a mold," Eitri snapped. "It was meant to be the greatest weapon in Asgard—capable, in theory, of summoning the Bifrost!"

"Does it have a name?" Thor asked eagerly.

"Stormbreaker."

"That name's just unfair," Rocket muttered.

"How do we forge it?" Thor asked seriously.

"First, you must restart the forge," Eitri replied. "Awaken the core of a dying star."

"Rabbit, start the pod!" Thor ordered.

Thor and Rocket worked together, using the ship's engines as leverage to restart the neutron star.

Exactly as previously analyzed.

Neither of them knew forging—but both played crucial roles.

On-screen—

The dark neutron star suddenly burst into blinding brilliance.

Energy began flowing into the forge.

Everything was on track—

Until—

Clang!

One mechanism failed. The energy beam cut off.

"Damn it!" Eitri cursed.

"'Damn it' what?" Rocket asked.

"The mechanism's broken! Without it, I can't heat the metal!"

"How long do you need?" Thor asked.

"Minutes. Maybe longer. Why?"

"I'll hold it open."

"That's suicide!"

"Facing Thanos without Stormbreaker is suicide too."

Without hesitation, Thor leapt into the broken mechanism.

"All-Father, grant me strength!"

"You're about to endure the full force of a star!" Eitri warned. "You'll die!"

Thor grabbed both sides and forced them open.

The neutron star's energy blasted through—

And into Thor.

"AAARGH!"

Everyone watching was stunned.

Bearing the energy of an entire neutron star—only Thor could do this.

Anyone else would've been vaporized instantly.

"Now you see how awesome I am," Thor grinned smugly at the stunned crowd.

On-screen—

The forge roared to life. Uru metal melted and poured into the mold.

Stormbreaker's head was completed.

But Thor finally collapsed, falling lifelessly to the ground.

"I think he's dying!" Rocket shouted.

"He needs Stormbreaker," Eitri said urgently.

But the handle was missing.

"Where's the handle? Groot, help me!"

Groot looked at Thor's broken body, resolve in his eyes.

He stepped forward.

Crack—crack—crack!

His arm grew, branches weaving together to form a handle.

"AAAAGH!"

With a roar, Groot tore off his own arm.

Stormbreaker was complete.

The image froze.
