I hurriedly drove my sports car through the cool night air. Autumn had arrived, which meant it was time for the wolves to expand their territory. We would usually start improving our members' skills and go hunting, negotiating, and even cooperating with several large packs with the aim of increasing our strength.
The rogues would become more aggressive in their hunting and destruction during this season. That was what made me increasingly anxious and constantly worried about Shenna's safety.
I got the answer from Mom, and when I arrived at the penthouse to tell Shenna about this matter, I found no sign of her, only a box containing the keys, which were still intact. I thought she must have left them there on purpose.
Why didn't she accept my gift? It was for her own good, and I'd been feeling uneasy ever since. It was late at night, and not finding Shenna in the penthouse, where I expected her to be, made me immediately turn around and head to Zac's mansion.
