DEVIL'S POV.
"Breaking News: A year after 'The Devil's' mysterious disappearance, he has resurfaced by killing one of the biggest trafficking organizations in the black market. They were known for trafficking any being and for being one of the biggest reasons for missing beings cases. For the Time Council's statement on this, we have Jina Caterwaller, Earth's Time Council representative here."
"Thank you for having me here, we would like to tell all being that the trafficking organization, 'The Nocturne Syndicate', that is what they called themselves. As the name signifies, they operated exclusively in the darkness. Their boss is no longer in the galaxy, murdered by the 'Devil', which we thank him for. The Time Council was working on bringing down 'The Nocturne Syndicate' but the 'Devil' got to it before us. Many missing cases were created due to the 'Nocturne Syndicate'. Our main priority now is to get all the missing-"
"I'm sorry to interrupt but I just recieved news from headquarters that all missing beings have been found and are all currently aboard a ship in space. They've been saying that they were rescued by a human wearing a devil mask."
"Then I must excuse myself , I'm sorry to leave midway."

I sigh, this is a everyday situation, it's quite repetitive. One of the reasons I do all of these valorous good deeds is so that my life, or me, doesn't sink into the darkness, or at least, doesn't become one of these corporate zombies. Every lunch I see them and they look like they're out for blood when they don't have a coffee in their hand. Especially, the ones that just had the night shift, it's like a horror movie waiting to happen. Coffee just might be the most amazing creation human civilization has ever made.
"A coffee for Levi!"
"Thats mine, coming." I stroll over to the barista to get my coffee in this gem of a coffee shop. I grab it and start drinking my coffee while I'm walking to my oh-so interesting job.
Spoiler: It's not.
"Heya Levi, how was your break? I just met my girlfriend and it was amazing. Today, she had this cute top on.... blah blah blah....."
"Maybe, I could answer if you shut up for a sec." I mutter under my breath. I wish he heard but he's too lost in his monologue about his perfect girlfriend, that will probably leave him, like all the others did. My colleague, Jake, a chatterbox.
I interrupt him from continuing even more " Hey Jake, we should start working. If the Director see's you slacking, she might make you work overtime and don't you want to spend time with your girlfriend tonight?"
"Oh- yeah, true."
One of these days, I'll sew his mouth shut and see how he'll talk then. He won't even need to worry, he'd be in capable hands. I've, after all, done much worse.
