Sasame understood the meaning of "no means yes."

However, he didn't stay. Terumi Mei had things to arrange. After all, she had just arrived in the Hidden Leaf Village, and the next day was the first stage of the joint Chunin Exam: the written test. Besides, with so many Hidden Mist shinobi around, there was no way Terumi Mei could openly indulge his antics. Only Black Cat or Uzumaki Ena would be so obedient. They were completely devoted to Sasame and would do anything he asked, no matter how embarrassing. But Terumi Mei was different. The Lady Mizukage maintained a proper sense of pride, which was part of her charm.

Sasame returned to the Hokage's office. The three largest ninja villages participating in the joint Chunin Exam were naturally the Hidden Leaf, Hidden Mist, and Hidden Sand. Beyond those, the Hidden Rain Village received the most attention. It was already a famous village outside the Five Great Nations, thanks to its former leader, Hanzō the Salamander. Although the outside world didn't know he was dead, if the Akatsuki were included, the Hidden Rain Village could surpass the Five Great Nations in power.

The Hidden Rain Village didn't have many prominent Genin; only Ajisai, Fuyō, and Suiren. After being promoted to Chunin, they were sent on an S-rank mission and were all killed. Ajisai was later selected by Nagato as a candidate for one of the Six Paths of Pain bodies. Sasame had reason to suspect the Hidden Rain Village deliberately sent them to their deaths. After all, it was illogical for a newly promoted Chunin's first mission to be S-rank. They were originally supposed to participate in the second joint Chunin Exam, but due to Sasame's butterfly effect, they were sent to this one instead. It was worth noting that the Destiny Value they contributed was the same as the others, suggesting they were destined to go on that S-rank mission regardless.

When the workday ended, Sasame called Shizune and told her that he had matters to discuss with the Mizukage, so she and Tsunade didn't have to wait for him for dinner. Shizune had no suspicion. Although she knew Sasame was flirtatious, the Mizukage was in the Hidden Mist Village—how could they be in contact? And even if they were, the Mizukage wouldn't act inappropriately with the Hokage. Therefore, Shizune genuinely believed he and Terumi Mei were discussing matters related to the joint Chunin Exam.

After she left, Sasame went to the courtyard prepared for the Hidden Mist Village. He had secretly placed a Flying Raijin marker in the room beforehand. When the familiar sound of the wind rose, Terumi Mei's face froze, and she felt a wave of resignation. He came after all. For some reason, she also felt a flicker of joy.

Terumi Mei glared at him and said, "Is the Hokage so idle?"

Sasame looked at the sudden allure in her expression and said, "It's because I miss you."

Terumi Mei paused for a few seconds, then laughed. "Can't you do anything besides sweet talk?" The moment the words left her mouth, she realized they could be misinterpreted. She had originally intended to complain that Sasame was only good at empty flattery, but... Terumi Mei looked at him. She saw him staring straight at her, as if her clothes couldn't hide her. Terumi Mei instinctively lowered her gaze, her eyes darting around with a faint seductive look. To be honest, if it weren't for her duty as Mizukage, she truly would be willing to live with Sasame because he brought her physical and mental pleasure.

Sasame reached out and gently stroked her cheek. Terumi Mei wanted to look away but restrained herself, letting him stroke her face.

"I haven't eaten yet," Sasame whispered close to her ear. "Lady Mizukage, would you honor me with a meal?"

Terumi Mei was taken aback and instinctively said, "I'll have someone prepare one."

Sasame shook his head. Amidst her startled gasp, he picked her up and said, "You prepare it personally." Terumi Mei understood now. In his arms, she couldn't help but kick him. Her bare, pale feet barely exerted any force, serving only as a tickle. Her reddish-brown hair fell over him, and the contact of her flushed skin with the air made Terumi Mei feel a little cold. After all, it was only March. But the chill soon turned into a burning heat. Fine beads of sweat rolled from her forehead, and she gasped continuously from the intensity.

It wasn't until an hour later that she finally calmed down. Sasame looked at her graceful, captivating form and turned to walk into the bathroom. After washing away the excessive scents, he returned to the room. Terumi Mei was still asleep. Her eyes were closed, and her breathing gradually steadied. Sasame reached out, tidied her scattered hair, and then left.

Back at home, Tsunade and Shizune had already eaten, but since it was still early, they weren't asleep yet. Sasame took off his shoes and walked into the living room.

"You're back." Tsunade smiled at him and asked casually, "What did you discuss with the Lady Mizukage?"

"Some matters regarding the Chunin Exam," Sasame said vaguely. "Since the second and third stages will be held in the Land of Water, we discussed the details."

"Why did you concede the hosting rights to the Hidden Mist Village this time?" Tsunade couldn't help but ask curiously. She had initially suggested the Hidden Leaf Village host it, as they certainly had the strength and capability now. She couldn't understand why Sasame would just hand it over.

"Oh, that," Sasame said, having anticipated the question. "It has to do with the Sunny Coast Trading Company."

Tsunade raised an eyebrow. The Sunny Coast Trading Company was the most prominent business in the ninja world in recent years. She had naturally heard of it. However, she didn't know that Sasame had established it. She was only aware of the previous Gunma Bank and Gunma Casino. They still existed but were certainly less prominent than the Sunny Coast Trading Company. Tsunade had always assumed that since Sasame became Hokage, he simply didn't have time to manage them.

"The Sunny Coast Trading Company has a lot of business in both the Land of Water and the Land of Fire, but its headquarters are in the Land of Water," Sasame explained. "They are sponsoring this joint Chunin Exam, and setting the location in the Hidden Mist Village gives us an extra hundred million ryo."

Tsunade couldn't help but exclaim, "They're truly rich." A hundred million was no small sum. The fact that they could offer it casually meant they truly didn't care about the money. The location of the joint Chunin Exam wasn't particularly critical. If it were her, she would certainly have agreed.

"They are quite rich," Sasame smiled and said. "But they are also smart enough not to provoke the Hidden Leaf Village."

Tsunade glared at him. "They are legitimate merchants, not shinobi." Although she drank, she was actually a fairly traditional ninja. Shinobi generally maintained a certain ethical standard toward ordinary citizens and merchants. They earned money through commissions and bounties, not by resorting to robbery.

"I know." Sasame rested his head on her lap, stretched, and said, "Big Sister, give me a massage. I worked so hard today!"

"Alright, alright." Tsunade's tone was doting. She smiled and stretched out her hands, gently kneading his head. As a medical ninja, her technique was quite good, though perhaps slightly inferior to Kurenai Yuhi's. After all, Tsunade wasn't naturally inclined to dote on people. Sasame was the exception.

A little while later, Shizune, wrapped in a towel, emerged from the bathroom. She glanced at the living room and was slightly surprised. It was a rare sight to see Tsunade massaging Sasame. Shizune walked over and greeted them. Sasame's eyes lit up. Shizune actually had a great figure, but she always wore that plain black kimono. Now, in a towel, she was subtly alluring. Especially since her hair was still wet, hanging down with faint water droplets visible on her pale neck and collarbone.

"Big sis Shizune, I'm so tired," Sasame said, blinking and hinting.

"You wretch!" Tsunade immediately pressed down hard with a groan, gritting her teeth. "You sure know how to enjoy yourself!"

Sasame gasped. "If you keep that up, I'll be even more exhausted!"

Shizune hesitated for a moment, then sat on the sofa and cradled his legs in her lap. Sasame immediately felt warm and comfortable.

"Shizune, you too. Don't spoil him so much," Tsunade said, looking up with a helpless expression.

Shizune's face flushed slightly because Sasame wasn't behaving. One of his hands was subtly grasping her towel. Shizune glared at him. Sasame chuckled. This is called reciprocity.

After a moment, Shizune couldn't take it anymore.

"Enough!" Tsunade sighed. "Go to sleep." Sasame stood up, put an arm around each of their shoulders, and headed toward the bedroom.

A new day dawned. The Hidden Leaf Village Ninja Academy was bustling like never before. Genin from various villages gathered. They followed the procedure into their respective classrooms, preparing for the written test. Although Sasame had modified the Ninja Academy, other villages hadn't. To ensure fairness, he set the questions based on the original format, testing their intelligence and ability to gather information.

"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura Haruno saw Sasuke Uchiha from a distance and quickly ran over. Her two teammates, Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame, shook their heads helplessly behind her. They were used to her infatuation. But to their credit, Sakura Haruno was quite capable on missions and had saved them multiple times. Sasuke Uchiha simply twitched his mouth. Naruto Uzumaki, on the other hand, smiled and greeted her, "Sakura, long time no see." Sakura Haruno quickly returned his greeting, then stood in front of Sasuke Uchiha.

Hinata Hyuga was not with them. She was still at home because Sasame had come over to eat breakfast with them. Otherwise, she would have arrived at the Ninja Academy earlier.

"Big Sister, good luck!" Hanabi Hyuga stood at the gate, waving her hands. The first stage of the exam was a written test, and spectators weren't allowed, so she didn't plan to go. Sasame, as the supervising Jonin, had to attend to oversee the process. Besides, it had been a while since he had seen his other two students. He certainly should check on them. And perhaps play in the water with the Lady Mizukage later.

"I will." Hinata Hyuga stroked Hanabi Hyuga's head and quickly followed Sasame. The two walked toward the Ninja Academy.

A moment later, they arrived at the exam site. Sasame's arrival attracted a lot of attention. After greeting the crowd, he sought out his two students.

"Sensei," Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki said in unison.

"Lord Hokage," Sakura Haruno and the others followed behind. Sasame glanced around and noticed the new generation of Ino-Shika-Chō hadn't arrived yet. But with Kabuto Yakushi as their sensei, it wasn't a problem.

"Go and sign in," Sasame said with a smile. "Don't embarrass the Hidden Leaf Village."

"Yes!" The group immediately headed toward the hallway.

In the stairwell, a green figure suddenly appeared. "Naruto!" It was Rock Lee. He held out his right hand, his eyes burning with passion. "I'll be waiting for you in the third stage!" In the original story, he had challenged Sasuke Uchiha. But now, it was Naruto Uzumaki. Since they had sparred a few times before, he wasn't in a hurry. He planned to surprise Naruto Uzumaki with the Eight Gates Formation in the third stage.

"It's a deal!" Naruto Uzumaki said, giving him a thumbs-up and a flashing smile.

Many people recognized the familiar figure of Might Guy. To be fair, if Naruto Uzumaki had trained under him, he might have had a more interesting future. Nine-Tails Chakra plus the Uzumaki clan lineage meant his physical capabilities were maximized. If he also learned the Eight Gates Formation, that would be just as impressive as the Rasengan. However, the technique was difficult to learn. Few could endure the dedication Might Guy demonstrated in the original story. Furthermore, it was too time-consuming. Naruto Uzumaki had ready-made cheat codes; he didn't need to go through all that trouble.

Sasame looked away. After waiting a moment, he saw Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Chōji Akimichi rushing toward him.

"Lord Hokage," they called out, catching their breath when they saw Sasame.

"Did you run here?" Sasame raised an eyebrow and asked.

"Sensei took us to the Forest of Death for special training last night," Shikamaru Nara said with a look of utter exhaustion. Kabuto Yakushi's training must have been tough. But even the most laid-back Shikamaru Nara looked focused and capable. Sasame couldn't help but smile. Kabuto Yakushi was a very serious person, unlike the easygoing Asuma Sarutobi. Furthermore, he was a medical ninja. He certainly had ways to ensure they didn't slack off.

"The exam is about to start; you should go," Sasame said, waving his hand. The three quickly left without saying much else. Only Ino Yamanaka glanced back at him. Sasame waved back at her. The girl's face immediately broke into a smile, and she happily rushed toward the exam room.

The first written stage of the exam in the original story allowed cheating; it was actually a test of the candidates' information-gathering skills. Sasame didn't change that, letting the examinees use their wits. It was worth noting that thanks to Sasame and his parents' guidance, Naruto Uzumaki was much more prepared than his original counterpart, who had turned in a blank paper. He answered most of the questions.

Sasame didn't stick around to wait but went to the Hidden Mist Village's temporary residence. In the room, Terumi Mei was reviewing documents. Even in the Hidden Leaf Village, she hadn't stopped working. Although she had implemented some changes based on Sasame's ideas, the effects wouldn't be noticeable in the short term. The Hidden Mist Village had limited talent and needed sufficient time and space to grow.

"Venue planning?" Sasame asked, looking over her shoulder. Terumi Mei had already sensed his arrival and wasn't surprised. She nodded. "This is for the seating arrangements for the nobles of the various countries." The Hidden Mist Village was constantly enveloped in fog, so the venue setup was particularly important. If they couldn't see clearly, the whole thing would be pointless. Furthermore, if they didn't cater to the Daimyo and nobles, they risked losing future missions.

Sasame didn't interrupt. He leaned back on the sofa, waiting for her.
