The contract was made, and Konan would naturally execute it. At least for now, she had no intention of violating it. Because she had to report back to Nagato, she didn't start immediately but requested a few days off. Uzumaki Ena very generously agreed to her request.
After Konan left, she breathed a sigh of relief, looked at Sasame, and asked, "How was it?"
"Very good," Sasame smiled, bringing a teacup to her lips. "You worked hard!" Uzumaki Ena leaned in, took a sip, and asked, "So, what's my reward?" Her voice was gentle and languid, faintly laced with seduction. Sasame could tell she wanted to be teased by him. He put down the teacup, stroked her soft cheek, and asked, "I still have tea here. Do you want some?"
Uzumaki Ena's face visibly flushed. She stood up, straddled his lap, nodded, and said, "Yes, I want some."
"I have something else to tell you," Sasame wrapped his arms around her slender waist. "You know about Tailed Beasts, right?"
"Yes," Uzumaki Ena frowned. "But I don't know much about them."
"You really don't," Sasame chuckled. "That's my fault; I haven't told you much."
"What's there to apologize for?" Uzumaki Ena rolled her eyes, leaning against his chest. "It's not too late to tell me now."
"Tailed Beasts, in simple terms, are the nine most powerful monsters in this world," Sasame caressed her flushed skin. "To better utilize their power, jinchuriki were created, which means sealing them inside human bodies using sealing jutsu."
Hiss! Uzumaki Ena gasped, her body trembling slightly. She thought of Naruto Uzumaki. When Sasame had her perform the sealing jutsu back then, she hadn't realized why. Now she finally understood.
"I called you here, besides the Akatsuki, because I want you to seal a Tailed Beast," Sasame got to the point. "The former jinchuriki of the Three-Tails in Hidden Mist Village is about to die, so a replacement is needed."
"Can I do it?" Uzumaki Ena bit her lower lip, her expression anxious.
"Of course you can," Sasame supported her plump buttocks, kissed her cheek, and said, "If you do it well, I'll give you an even bigger reward."
"Okay," Uzumaki Ena nodded vigorously.
An hour later. Sasame's "resistance training" for the day ended. The two headed to the Mizukage Building.
"Only one person?" Mei Terumi scrutinized Uzumaki Ena, asking somewhat skeptically. "I thought your Konoha Village had a Sealing Team?" She wasn't that she distrusted Sasame, but a Tailed Beast was a grave matter, and she preferred multiple layers of insurance. If something went wrong, Zabuza Momochi might die. Hidden Mist Village couldn't afford such a loss.
"It's fine," Sasame leaned in and whispered in her ear. "I'll tell you a secret, but you can't tell anyone else. She's a member of the Uzumaki clan. In terms of sealing jutsu mastery, there are only a few people in the entire ninja world who can surpass her." Mei Terumi was startled. Although Uzumaki Ena had red hair, she hadn't paid it any mind. After all, not all redheads were from the Uzumaki clan. Now, being reminded, her heart settled.
Uzumaki Ena's eyes subtly flickered. Sasame was speaking so close to Mei Terumi, yet Mei Terumi showed no reaction. Either it was due to her personality and she didn't care, or she was already used to it. Uzumaki Ena leaned towards the latter. Because she knew Sasame's charm. But she didn't think much of it. No jealousy, no sadness. She could even fool around with Mikoto Uchiha alongside Sasame. That already proved her personality, or rather, her attitude.
"In that case, let's begin," Mei Terumi recovered and said in a deep voice. "Follow me." She turned and walked out. This time, Yagura Karatachi had been moved to a different location. Still not far from Hidden Mist Village.
After walking for a few minutes, the three arrived at their destination.
"Mizukage-sama," Zabuza Momochi and Haku stepped forward and called out. Both of their gazes fell on Sasame. Their calm expressions changed instantly. The Hokage. They remembered the incident where they attacked Sasame and Team 9. They lost quite miserably. They hadn't expected Sasame to appear here.
"You should all know this person: Hokage Sasame," Mei Terumi said calmly. "To ensure the smooth replacement of the jinchuriki, I contacted Konoha Village." Zabuza Momochi was startled, then believed her words. Konoha Village possessed the Uzumaki clan's sealing jutsu, capable of subduing even the Nine-Tails, let alone the Three-Tails. Their help would indeed make it safer.
"Mizukage-sama, you've worked hard," Zabuza Momochi glanced at Uzumaki Ena. Her red hair was particularly striking. It was hard not to be suspicious. Although the Uzumaki clan was annihilated, since Konoha Village could obtain their sealing jutsu, saving a few people shouldn't be a problem. However, suspicion was one thing, but no one dared to say anything. Strength was paramount. Konoha Village was not to be provoked.
"Are the others here?" Mei Terumi then asked.
"They're all inside. Nine people in total: five sealing ninjas and four medical ninjas," Zabuza Momochi replied. Mei Terumi nodded, then looked at Sasame. She hesitated. "Hokage-sama, you don't mind having a few more people, do you?" Hidden Mist Village naturally had sealing ninjas. After all, the previous jinchuriki replacements didn't involve Konoha Village. However, they all learned common sealing jutsu. Mei Terumi called them over for insurance. If something went wrong, there was still a chance to salvage the situation.
"I don't mind," Sasame shook his head. Doing so was understandable.
"You may go inside," Mei Terumi secretly breathed a sigh of relief. "Be careful of everything." Zabuza Momochi and the others nodded and turned to enter the room. Uzumaki Ena glanced at Sasame and followed them in.
"Aren't you going to watch?" Sasame asked, seeing Mei Terumi still standing there.
"I would only be in the way if I went in," Mei Terumi looked towards the room. "It's better to be outside, guarding against potential enemies."
"If you're nervous, I can lend you my shoulder," Sasame noticed her expression and said with a smile.
"..." Mei Terumi was speechless. If it were just the two of them playing master-servant games, she might have agreed. But how could she now? A group of people were not far away. If they were discovered... Mei Terumi's mind quickly flashed through several scenarios. She pouted. "Don't think I don't know what you're thinking."
"What am I thinking?" Sasame glanced at her sideways. "This is the master's reward. Don't misunderstand."
"Shut up!" Mei Terumi was startled and whispered, "You promised me not to mention 'master' and 'servant' outside!"
"Not in front of outsiders," Sasame corrected her. "They can't hear. Don't be shy."
"I... I'm not shy at all!" Mei Terumi glared at him, displeased. "And at this close distance, how could they not hear?"
"If you speak any louder, they really will hear," Sasame pointed to the room. Mei Terumi immediately covered her mouth and said no more. However, her eyes still glared fiercely at him.
Sasame's lips curved. He reached out and patted her thigh. Mei Terumi's eyes instantly widened, her pupils trembling. She whispered angrily, "What are you doing?"
"What's wrong with that?" Sasame blinked. "Haven't we done worse things before?"
"..." Mei Terumi gritted her teeth, threatening, "Outside, don't mess around! Otherwise, I... I'll get angry!" As she spoke, she shifted her body, creating some distance. Sasame listened to her powerless threat and couldn't help but smile. However, he didn't tease Mei Terumi any further. Everything needed moderation. Even teasing between lovers shouldn't go too far.
After half an hour, Uzumaki Ena opened the room.
"How was it?" Mei Terumi immediately went up to her, asking nervously. It gave Sasame a strong sense of déjà vu. It was as if Uzumaki Ena would say "mother and child are both safe" any second.
"The operation was very smooth."
"Thank you," Mei Terumi breathed a sigh of relief, speaking earnestly.
"If you want to thank someone, thank Hokage-sama," Uzumaki Ena looked at Sasame. "After all, I was just following orders." Well done.As expected of the understanding Uzumaki Ena.Sasame gave her a look. Uzumaki Ena immediately smiled.
Mei Terumi was slightly startled. Thank Sasame? If she kept thanking him, she wouldn't be able to protect herself. Her thoughts drifted far away.
"Mizukage-sama," several Hidden Mist Village ninjas filed out of the room.
"You've all worked hard," Mei Terumi recovered. "Go rest first."
Eventually, only Haku remained. He bowed slightly. "Mizukage-sama, Lord Yagura wishes to see you one last time." Mei Terumi nodded in silence.
"We'll leave first," Sasame saw this and didn't disturb them further.
"Okay," Mei Terumi glanced at him, then turned and entered the room. Sasame and Uzumaki Ena returned to Hidden Mist Village. Then, he used the Flying Thunder God Technique to send her back to the Land of Waves. He didn't leave but stayed behind.
Half an hour later, Mei Terumi opened the door, her expression grim. Her entire being exuded an aura of ill humor.
"Why are you in my house?" Mei Terumi saw Sasame, and after a slight pause, she said, "I don't want to play any master-servant games right now. You can leave."
"Am I such a terrible person in your eyes?" Sasame patted the sofa. "Come and sit down." Mei Terumi looked at him, then walked forward. As she sat down, Sasame pulled her into his embrace. She instinctively struggled, then heard his words.
"If it hurts, cry. Don't suppress yourself."
"..." Mei Terumi lowered her face. "I'm not hurting."
"If you say so, then it is," Sasame reached out and straightened her messy hair. Mei Terumi said nothing more, shifted her body, and nestled completely into his arms. An unprecedented sense of security made the long-accumulated stress within her vanish at this moment. When Sasame came to, he found her deeply asleep. She was indeed too tired.
Mei Terumi had followed Elder Gengetsu Hozuki since childhood, so Yagura Karatachi's death wasn't that emotionally impactful to her. But this was a fuse, igniting emotions that had been building up for a long time. However, she was still the Mizukage, and she didn't cry or scream, which was quite rare.
