"Oh? As long as I can lure the water monster to the shore you have a solution?" Upon hearing this the Drunken Sword Immortal's eyes lit up with hope.
Luring the water monster to shore seemed impossible but if they could do it then there was still a possibility.
Although he did not know what Alex's solution was since Alex had said so the Drunken Sword Immortal trusted him.
"That is right. We will give it a try" Alex nodded.
What was the solution? Simple of course. It involved the kick skill.
It was a simple move yet the kick itself held a full 5GB of storage capacity due to its rule-based properties. While it was not particularly offensive it could disregard the opponent's size and strength. When used well it was a true divine skill.
Back in the Marvel Universe when the Chitauri invaded Earth Alex had once sent a mechanical dragon flying away with a single kick. In terms of size the Water Demon Beast and the mechanical dragon were not much different.
"Alright! If that is the case then I will give it a try."
By this time everyone was injured to varying degrees. The combined power of the Water Demon Beast and the Moon Worshiper was truly despairing. Since Alex said they could give it a try they decided to attempt it.
With a thought the Drunken Sword Immortal lunged forward while unleashing his sword control technique. Countless flying swords swirled around the Water Demon Beast forming a massive sword formation.
While these swords could not inflict any substantial damage to the Water Demon Beast they could certainly provoke it.

Even a swarm of flies would be irritating let alone these flying swords. To the Water Demon Beast they were like a swarm of biting mosquitoes.
Though the Water Demon Beast suffered no substantial damage the swords sent it roaring in fury. Its tail vibrated continuously while whipping up massive waves that tried to crush the Drunken Sword Immortal and the flying swords.
"I will go up and help..." To fight the water monster Alex had to hover above the lake. Since Lin Yueru could not fly Alex asked her to step back. Then using his power to control his magnetic field he flew up. Simultaneously Alex extended his hands with azure lightning gathering in his palms and striking the water monster.
Although he had only inherited the Thunder God's bloodline a year or so ago Alex's lightning powers were not yet strong. However simply harassing and provoking the water monster was not difficult.
Powerful lightning would certainly injure but even weaker lightning constantly striking at the water monster could also be irritating.
A regular lighter uses a flash of electricity. A piezoelectric igniter can be removed from the lighter. Pressing it releases a faint burst of electricity far from harmful. But if someone repeatedly used this on you anyone would be enraged. That was exactly what the Water Demon Beast was feeling right now.
Their attack was not intended to harm the Water Demon Beast but rather to provoke it. Under the combined influence of the Drunken Swordsman and Alex the Water Demon Beast roared in fury. As expected once the Water Demon Beast reached the lake's edge no matter how furious it became it showed no sign of coming ashore. It simply remained at the edge constantly manipulating the currents and engaging Alex and the others from a distance.
The back-and-forth between the two sides showed that the Water Demon Beast clearly possessed the greater strength.
"Hey did you not say you had a solution? Use whatever you have. I cannot hold on any longer!" Under the Water Demon Beast's relentless attack the Drunken Swordsman's swordsmanship had already been shattered. Flustered he turned and called to Alex who was standing beside him.
"Alright I will do it!" Alex nodded while watching the Water Demon Beast retreat to the lake's edge refusing to move forward.
As he spoke Alex's figure moved with lightning speed. He appeared above the lake landing right in front of the Water Demon Beast. Simultaneously he launched a powerful kick toward the Water Demon Beast's body while shouting inwardly "Kick it away!"

However just as Alex's kick was about to reach the Water Demon Beast the Moon Worshiping Cult Leader dodged forward blocking Alex's path.
Having sparred with Alex before the Moon Worshiping Cult Leader knew that while Alex's cultivation level was low he possessed many remarkable abilities.
The kick landed on the Moon Worshiper sending him flying like a ball. Simultaneously he collided with the Water Demon Beast.
Seeing Alex appear beside it the Water Demon Beast roared fiercely. Immediately a wave of sound visible to the naked eye blasted toward Alex.
The Water Demon Beast's sound waves were powerful enough to shatter even the Drunken Sword Immortal's swordsmanship.
It was too late to dodge. Alex mentally called out "Armament Haki!"
A pitch-black substance instantly enveloped Alex's entire body. He crossed his arms in front of him forming a defensive gesture.
Immediately Alex was struck by the Water Demon Beast's sound waves. He was instantly sent flying and landed in the lake. His life or death was unknown.
"Young Alex!" Seeing Alex take the Water Demon Beast's sonic attack head-on the Drunken Sword Immortal's expression changed dramatically.
Such a terrifying attack was not something a human body could withstand.
Hit by the Water Demon Beast's sonic waves Alex felt as if he had been hit by a speeding train. He was thrown out with his internal organs vibrating violently. He fell into the lake. Alex felt as if his entire body was falling apart.
"What a terrifying power! If it were not for the defensive power of Armament Haki and my body becoming that of an Asgardian god an ordinary person would have been reduced to a pulp by such an attack."
Feeling his own injuries Alex was horrified by the power of the Water Demon Beast. But at the same time he was thankful that he had copied the blood of the Thunder God and transformed his body into that of a god.
"If that is the case then there is only one last method left. A method that can kill the Water Demon Beast!"
Within the lake Alex's Sacred Heart Art internal force circulated throughout his body rapidly repairing his internal injuries. While he muttered to himself with determination.
