Chapter 1 - Heavenly constitution

In the Pure Sky Continent

Qin Kingdom

In the depths of the night, without any warning, nine golden gates appeared in the sky above the Qin Kingdom. They radiated divine light that bathed the entire land, while a heavenly melody descended from above, echoing across the kingdom like a blessing from the heavens.

All the citizens of the Qin Kingdom looked up at the sky in reverence. The simple folk of the kingdom knelt to the ground, bowing in worship.

High above the royal Qin Palace, an old man wearing a resplendent golden robe stared at the heavenly golden gates, his expression solemn and heavy.

The old man had a long gray beard, a face full of wrinkles, and a bald head.

Next to him stood a handsome, middle-aged man wearing the same robe as the old man, with a golden crown resting atop his head.

The middle-aged man had long black hair that fell to his shoulders, a handsome face with sharp eyebrows and black eyes, a fair complexion, and a lean, muscular build.

Behind them stood the Qin Royal Guards in their golden battle armor, all solemnly gazing at the heavenly golden gates.

After ten full minutes, the heavenly melody ceased, and the golden gates vanished from the sky without a trace.

The middle-aged man took a deep breath to calm his racing heart, then turned to the old man and asked, "What was that, ancestor? Was it an ancient bloodline awakening?"

The old man slowly shook his head. "No," he said gravely. "An ancient bloodline requires no awakening. What you witnessed was the birth of a heavenly constitution."

The middle aged man was confused and asked, "heavenly constitution?"

The old man nodded and began to explain, "Yes, it is an extraordinarily rare constitution. According to our clan's ancient records, our ancestors witnessed the birth of a heavenly constitution only once—and never again had the honor to witness it."

"Remember, our Qin clan has existed for a hundred thousand years. Do you understand now how rare this constitution truly is?"

The middle-aged man and the royal Qin guards drew a deep breath, trying to calm their racing hearts, as the old man continued speaking.

"The special constitution you are familiar with is considered trash compared to the heavenly constitution and other world constitutions types."

The middle-aged man looked puzzled and asked, "What exactly are the world constitutions?"

The old man looked annoyed at the middle-aged man, but he still answered his question.

""The World Constitutions are a collection of incredibly rare constitutions, and those who wield them are known as those who are loved by the world."

Confusion clouded the faces of the middle-aged man and the royal Qin guards, and the middle-aged man finally asked.

"Why those guys known by this name."

The old man's eyes narrowed, piercing into the middle-aged man with unwavering seriousness.

"Chen, they are born with monstrous talent. Their cultivation talent is demonic, and they are so dangerous that even those of us with the Royal bloodline cannot match their talent."

Chen's eyes narrowed, his face darkening with seriousness. He turned to his royal guards and gave his order.

"Go. Kill the Heavenly Constitution wielder. I want their head brought before me. Now."

Before royal guards could leave the old man yelled at them.

"Stop."

Chen looked at the old man in bewilderment and asked.

"Ancestor, what's wrong?"

The old man sighed and started explaining

"Even if we sent our entire army to search for the wielder of the Heavenly Constitution, we would never find the wielder."

The royal guards and the Chen were shocked and the old man continued.

"While special constitution wielders radiate a unique aura, those with a World Constitutions reveal nothing; their presence is entirely undetectable."

Chen and the royal guards stood frozen. Finally, Chen broke the silence, his voice tinged with anxiety.

"Ancestor what should we do?"

The old man didn't reply for a few minutes then he said to Chen.

"From today, we will send our descendants to join the martial schools and houses in and around our kingdom."

"They will hide their status from others; their main objective is to discover the wielder of the Heavenly Constitution and befriend them—or win them over."

Chen was quite for second then asked.

"Ancestor, why don't we simply assassinate the wielder after discovering his or her identity?"

The old man eyebrows twitched in annoyance and replied.

"You are being too short-sighted, Chen. You should learn to look at the bigger picture. If we manage to befriend or win over the wielder, we will gain a powerful ally in case we go to war against the other kingdoms."

Chen's eyes lit up, and he nodded in agreement..

He then smiled at the old man. "I understand, ancestor. I will start making arrangements right away."

Chen spun around and walked away. The royal guards fell in line behind him, their respect evident in every step.

The old man stared at the star-speckled night sky, muttering to himself as if sharing secrets with the wind.

"I wonder if we will ever manage to uncover the identity of the Heavenly Constitution wielder."
