Kael did not waste time after the introductions.
He sat at the head of the table and looked toward Adam. The two strategists beside Silas also turned their chairs a little, as if they wanted to hear every word properly.
"Walter," Kael said, "you said you had an idea. Now say it clearly."
Bruno sat a little to the side. He did not speak.
Even sitting there felt strange to him. A few days ago, World Zone had been his enemy. Now their people were in the same room, discussing his future like it was normal.
Adam placed one hand on the table.
"Bruno will not file his form in the first week," he said.
Kael's brows moved slightly.
Silas looked at Adam.
One strategist frowned. "Then what will he do?"
"Nothing official," Adam said. "That is the point."
The room became quiet.
Adam continued, "If he files now, Victor will know who to hit. The old opposition will also know. The public will only see one thing. A gangster suddenly wants a mayor's chair."
