Valeria didn't know why she was suddenly feeling the strong urge to flee when the man's gaze fell on her.
He couldn't be mad because of that girl right? She was just an insignificant employee, he wouldn't care that she'd played a tiny little trick right?
The man turned to the space full of people.
"I was supposed to walk into an ad shoot, not a fucking game orchestrated by a twisted model."
Valeria quickly felt the need to defend herself to him.
"What are you talking about? We're still shooting the ad, it's just that..." Her gaze fell on Anne and she made sure to let the latter see the triumph in her eyes, "I felt too tired to continue so I needed a double..."
"The damn shoot wasn't supposed to take more than two hours, you were too tired to spare two hours on your job?"
