"Where are you taking me?" she queried and got no reply, only a glimpse of the man's rigid profile. His fingers were right around her wrist, the warmth of them almost painfully searing. He seemed to squeeze her wrist tightly with the equal amount of rage currently visible on his irresistibly handsome features.
He didn't stop dragging her until he pushed her into a room upstairs.
Realizing the fact that he was taking her into a room alone, Anne began to protest. She fought to pull her wrist out of his grip, but his hand merely tightened even more as he shut the door with a loud bang and pressed her back to it. His gaze boring down on her face so intensely, his hot breath falling upon her face as he leaned close to her with a dark threat in his frigidly deep voice.
"What the hell are you doing here with him?"
The rage-filled quiver in his voice could not be missed, something possessive lurking beneath the depths of his tone.
