Twenty minutes later, Anne was working on corrections on a laptop handed to her by this arrogant man.
She had to work in his office—not only that, but she had to do it right on his desk, facing him as he worked.
And not to mention, she was made to do a job meant for his assistant, not her.
Though she grumbled internally, she didn't show signs of displeasure.
The sounds of typing continued to echo in the room, both people fully immersed in their work.
She couldn't help but think back to that Friday night again and cringe for the hundredth time.
Why had she gone and acted like a crazy, deranged woman to that masked person?
She couldn't recall all of it—the memories came to her in bits and pieces—but she could mostly grasp some of the things she did.
Like wantonly grabbing a part of the man's body. She cringed hard enough that she visibly shivered.
