Lilith stepped on the skull of another goblin with a bored look on her face.
"These guys are boring! Where the hell is this boss located?!" Lilith questioned with frustration. She tossed the cursed spear she was holding and got an idea.
"I've noticed everything around me gives off a faint, how do I say, scent? Of mana. What if I tried sensing further than my immediate surroundings?" Lilith closed her eyes and faintly felt the mana of every living thing around her. She focused more and spread her senses further and further inch by inch.
Soon the faint images turned into clear ones. She could see the grass and the trees around her because of their mana signatures. Soon, she saw a huge mana signature shining like it was a star.
[New skill acquired: Mana Sense!]
"Jackpot." Lilith opened her eyes and began running in that direction. Due to her increased strength and agility stats, she was much faster than the average person, probably closer to a trained athlete.
Within a few minutes, she arrived at a huge cave. She used her new skill and figured out how many creatures were inside and how strong they were.
"These guys are definitely stronger than those goblins!" Lilith skipped inside of the cave. As she walked deeper the sun's light got dimmer and dimmer until she was in pure darkness. Suddenly a projectile was fired from the ceiling.
Lilith dodged it and quickly activated [Mana Sense] to see what she was fighting.
"Ahh, no wonder there were so many of you…" Lilith said in fearful awe. On the ceiling were hundreds of bat creatures. They had huge claws and the heads of wolves.
"[Hex: Curse of Rot]!" Lilith applied the curse to her hands and prepared for a brawl. Some of the wolf bats fired hardened blood shards while others swooped down trying to snag her with their claws.
Lilith used the previous fighting techniques she learned as a soldier to weave and bob the continuous attacks. She punched one wolf bat in the face and then used its body to disrupt the shard fire from the roof. She then spun around and kicked another one in the ribs.
She quickly tore its weak arms off and used its long claws as weapons. Lilith massacred her way through the wolf bats until all 30 were slaughtered. She was covered in dark red blood from head to toe and she panted in exhaustion.

"Equip everything!" Immediately, black gauntlets and a black cloak with a grey lining were on her person. Lilith opened and closed her hands, demonstrating the flexibility the gauntlets had. She smiled and looked at her status.
"System put six points into INT, two points into PERS, another two into END, and the final two into AGL." Her body gained a red outline as her stats were distributed. Lilith smiled at her newfound strength.
"Deeper we go. I can practically feel the boss breathing down my neck." Lilith got the shivers before she dashed forward. She was effectively twice as fast and strong as the average person. After a few minutes of running, she arrived at two huge stone doors.
As soon as she opened the door, she felt a wave of powerful magic wash over her. Before she could succumb to fear, her body gained a green outline.
"Thanks, [Magic Resistance]," Lilith said solemnly. The boss was a white-haired man sitting upon a throne. He had pale skin and red eyes along with sharpened canines.
"A vampire huh? I should've guessed that by the wolf bats. Doesn't matter though, I'm gonna kick your ass!" Lilith pointed at the vampire on the throne. He tilted his head before a smile crept upon his face.
He said something in his native language before he dashed from his throne, cracking the ground below him. He came from above Lilith while cocking back a heavy fist.
*BOOM*
Lilith blocked the powerful punch with both of her arms but the force of the strike created a crater under her.
'He's strong as hell! I felt my entire skeleton rattle with that punch!' Lilith exclaimed as she broke her guard and the vampire flipped onto his feet.
"[Hex: Curse of Rot]!" Lilith's black gloves oozed an ominous miasma. She poured much more mana into this curse.

The Vampire eyed her gauntlets wearily and got serious. Within the blink of an eye, both combatants were inches away each with their fists cocked back. The vampire ducked under Lilith's punch and tried to uppercut her but Lilith quickly leaned back and sent him flying into a wall with a kick.
"Wow! I didn't expect my legs to have that much power." Lilith commented before she dashed towards the vampire. The vampire fired blood tendrils from his location, causing Lilith to run and dodge. Then suddenly out of the dust came a giant blood fist.
[-45 HP]
"KAH!" Lilith was sent flying across the throne room. She crashed into the wall with her head and lips leaking blood. Lilith rolled out of the way dodging more blood tendrils.
"Close quarters isn't going to work, no problem." Five black magic circles appeared behind her, "[DECAYING BOLT]!"
The Vampire immediately erected walls to block her magic. His walls managed to block three of the five bolts. The final two managed to hit their mark, punching huge holes into his body.
Lilith was confused about why he wasn't being turned into ash until she remembered one crucial part of this skill, it won't decay those stronger than her.
"Still, the damage it did is good enough!" Lilith sprinted forward as the vampire was trying to heal his grievous wounds. She was soon in front of the vampire with her fist primed for a powerful punch. The vampire felt the fear of death for a split second before his head was punched into the ground.
*BOOM*
His rotted head sat inside of a crater with Lilith standing over his body with a smile.

"Class advancement? Hey system, what does that mean? I have an assumption but I wanna be sure." Lilith asked as she scrolled through the notifications.
[A class advancement is when you're able to evolve your class. You currently have a beginner class, a class advancement will evolve your class into an intermediate class.]
"That's neat, mind telling me the rankings?" She asked as she dug a bright crystal out of the vampire, "And what the hell is this?"
[The rankings for classes go as the following: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Master, Legendary, and Calamity.]
[Also, that is a magic stone. You can sell it for money.]
"I see. I'll do my advancement later, I wanna get out of this dungeon and see what this Earth is like. Also, I pick the random skill rune." Lilith began walking out of the boss room and out of the cave. She saw a giant blue portal nearby.

A glowing blue stone appeared in Lilith's hand. She crushed it and felt a rush of information hit her brain.
"Interesting, a new offensive skill added to my arensal!" Lilith smiled like a kid and skipped her way to the portal.
*ZWOOM*
"Oh wow, you're a big one huh? I hope their isn't an army waiting for me on the outside…that would suck…" Lilith walked through the portal with her fingers crossed.

[15 minutes prior]
"What's the situation with this gate?" An orange-haired man with sunglasses on asked as he stepped out of his vehicle.
"Sir! We've tried to send hunters inside, but there's a barrier, a strong one." A hunter association employee exclaimed. Woo Jinchul took his sunglasses off.
"Did any hunters go in prior to the barrier being set up?" Jinchul asked and the employee shook his head, "No sir, it appeared with the barrier already activated."
'How peculiar.' Jinchul thought to himself, "What's the rating of the gate?"
"It's a C-rank gate, sir, nothing too dangerous."
"Good, gather more hunters here in case of a dungeon break." Jinchul said as he pulled his phone out to contact the Chairman. Then suddenly the gate began to shrink and a person walked out.
All of the hunters including Jinchul got on guard. The person was a beautiful woman with long flowing black hair, equally black eyes, black gauntlets and a black cloak. Her skin was sickly pale making her look unnatural.
'I don't like the magic radiating off of those gauntlets. Is she a human or a monster?' Jinchul asked himself as he was ready to attack at a moment's notice.
Lilith put her hands up in surrender, "Don't kill me, please!"
"What are you?!" A random hunter from the small mob asked. Lilith tilted her head as if it was a stupid question, "I'm clearly a human? I cleared this gate behind me!"
'By herself? That would put her at least at B-rank.' Jinchul thought. He put his guard down and cleared his throat, "Okay, thank you, everyone. You can head back home to whatever you were doing prior to coming here. The Hunters Association will handle this, thank you."
The area cleared out within a few minutes and the only people left were Jinchul, Lilith, and the association employee.
"Come with me." Jinchul said as he opened his car door. Liliith shrugged, "At least I'm not being attacked."
