Chapter 2 - Defeated

Ahriman knew the three demons very well, the biggest one, a demon with only a single big eye at the center of his head was the son of one of his previous enemy that he spared in secret since he was only a kid.

He was well over three meters tall, his body full of muscles and on the top of his head a great red horn stood, he also had red hairs that made it look as if his head was on fire.

He wore something similar to a mawashi, that covered very little of his body, in is hands there was a giant club full of spikes.

He spared that child in the past for piety, without his subordinates knowing, but it seem his goodness came back to bite his ass.

The female demon, was no other that one of his subordinates, the ice demon, Hel, her body was really pale, almost light blue, she had two small horns on the top of her head and wore a dress similar to a kimono, she used to be his best magician, with the power to freeze entire armies in one moment.

And the third demon the one that made that foolish announcement was unknown to Ahriman, he looked like a normal demon of low rank, nothing to worry at.

He received hundreds of announcement like this the first years that he stopped fighting, but after he killed all the fools the challenger stopped coming.

In a single lap he was already in front of the low ranked demon, his sword started burning ready to slice that idiot down in a single moment, but something interfered.

A spear appeared out of nowhere, ready to pierce his eye, Ahriman used his second hand to move the sword in order to deflect the attack, even if surprised this was nothing if they wanted to kill him.

He deflected the strike, and took the handle of the spear with his hand holding it in place, one of his wings sharp like a sword slashed the intruder revealing his appearance that was hidden under a cape.

"Well well well, look who it is, the general of the second regiment, I'm not even surprised to see you here" Ahriman understood this wasn't the usual assassination attempt, this time he was against his own *allies*.

"Ahriman I used to kneel before you, to respect you, but now? You are nothing more than a Hollow husk of what you once were, and I'm here because you can no longer be the Demon Lord!" Screamed the general of the second regiment.

"I think you aren't the only ones that aren't happy with me being the demon lord, Am I right?" Ahriman declared a sad smile on his face.

Slowly every general of his army started to come out, some of them were even hidden, all the seven generals and many descendants of his past enemy showed themselves.

"As if this day couldn't get worse" sighed Ahriman the grip of his hand becoming stronger on the handle of the spear of the second general.

"So this is how it's going to end, eh?" Said Ahriman with a growing smile on his lips, the other demons stayed silent even they knew that only some of them would survive this fight, if any of them survived, on a single motion Ahriman launched the spear against the low ranked demon that ended cut in half and with his power he burned the second general to a crisp, launching against him a torrent of black flames.

His charcoal like body fell apart in seconds, the other attackers didn't stay stopped long and began attacking the Demon Lord all together, Ahriman was strong, but even he couldn't defeat all of them simultaneously, so he opened his wings and flew towards the exit.

In one second he stood in the air right outside of his castle, what he saw amazed him, hundread of thousands of demons of all kind and form were ready to fight, amoung them he saw his army, the armies he defeated and even some nameless warriors, they were all there for him.

From behind him a spike of ice tried to pierce him but he used one of his wings to defend himself ending with it teared apart.

He fell from the air and then started the carnage, for days he fought tearing, ripping, slicing and killing everything that stood in his way, after that silence began permeating the area.

The terrain in front of his castle was full of bodies, some of them so much destroyed that they couldn't be reconnected to a demon, there were still very few of them Alice, some soldier hidden amoung the corpses, two of the seven general and Hel, one eyes demon died around three hour in the fight when Ahriman putted his hand inside his throat and made it explode in flames.

The demon lord in question wasn't reallyuntouched, his body was damaged beyond belief, his wings were nowhere to be seen, sliced by the third general, now dead, his left hand got eaten by the one eyed demon before he exploded, and his two great horn were broken, his black armor was in pieces and his body was also full of wounds, where liters of black blood flowed out.

"Lord Ahriman " El, without an arm that he sliced, began walking towards Ahriman "you were the best lord a demon could ever have, but when we talked to you of conquering the Overworld you stopped fighting, you became soft, I can't let us demon be guided by a weakling like you..."

After walking over the body of numerous demons she finally arrived over the disfigured body of the once great Demon King, weakened to his extreme, she smiled and then she started chanting a strange magic.

The other two demons united to her, the chanting lasted for three to four minutes where Ahriman taking all the strength he had left in his body got up ready for a fight.

When they ended the terrain under Ahriman began freezing, and the smile on Hel face began growing, she explained "Even if we wanted we couldn't kill the demon king sadly you made us promise with a blood pact, I hoped that one of your defeated enemies could kill you since they wouldn't have the pact to stop them, but as you can see they are all death, so ..."

The ice began arriving to the torso of Ahriman so he interrupted "blah blah blah, can you finish the monologue I don't have all day".

Surprised by this Hel looked at the other two generals who nooded, she then looked back at Ahriman before ending her monologue "so we can't let you recover until someone strong enough come and kill you, the only choice I had was to seal you, do you see this ice? We had to spend half of our life-force in order to generate it, but it is worth the price, this ice will never melt because of your flames and will keep you locked for far than enough time".

Slowly the ice began capturing Ahriman's face, his expression one of primal fury, before his sight turned black he heard a sly knuckle from Hel.

This wasn't the end.
