The battlefield thundered with chaos.
Explosions of Will-energy lit the horizon. More than two thousand of Kurojin's soldiers flooded the warfront, a torrent of corrupted powers and mechanical enhancements pushing even the strongest Wielders to the brink.
Ryuu parried a blow with his lightning blade, sweat pouring down his face. "Where the hell is Kael?!"
Tetsu smashed a brute through a crater, grunting. "If he doesn't show up soon, we're not making it out of this!"
Hana spun midair, her crimson ribbon dancing like a viper, slicing down two attackers. She grit her teeth as Lilith reappeared in front of her, time-warping through every attack. "It's like she's reading my moves before I make them!"
"Because she is," Seraphine called, shielding a group of young Wielders with a crystal dome. "You need to disrupt her Chrono field!"
Meanwhile, deep in the mountains…
Kael sat cross-legged on a cliff's edge, Raizen watching from a distance. His body pulsed with the black electric glow of Kurothar's power. But now, something new was awakening.
He could feel them.
Not just their Wills—but their intent, their energy signatures, their pain.
Kael's eyes shot open.
"I can feel them…"
Raizen nodded solemnly. "You've unlocked Spirit Pulse, the ability to sense and distinguish every Will nearby—friend or foe. But yours is more advanced… you feel their emotions too."
Kael stood slowly, his hair whipping in the wind. "They're dying out there."
He clenched his fist, and the energy swirled around him like a vortex. "I have to go."
Raizen didn't stop him.
As Kael vanished in a flash of voidstep, Raizen whispered to the wind, "Let them see what the Last Will really means."
Back at the warfront…
Tetsu was slammed through rubble, groaning. Hana limped toward him, shielding them from incoming beams.
Lilith and Raven stood side by side, preparing to strike again.
Ryuu held his ground—but barely.
Suddenly, all three of them felt it.
A pulse.
A deep, thunderous pressure that rippled through the battlefield.
Every Wielder, every soldier—even Kurojin's own elites—turned toward the mountain ridges.
A black flash streaked across the sky.
Then—
BOOM!
A crater erupted between the two sides. Dust and wind blew in every direction.
As the smoke cleared…
A silhouette walked forward.
Messy hair. Tattered cloak. Black electric energy crackling off his back.
Kael.
Eyes glowing. Wounds from past battles still fresh.
He looked at his friends.
"You didn't think I'd miss the real fight, did you?"
